I stopped by yesterday to have them take a look at my 06 Audi A6. It was knocking and making a tapping noise from the engine.
I don’t remember the mechanic’s name but he looked over the car for about a half hour and told me that this issue I was having with the rear bearing was common in these cars and he laid out my options for rebuilding or replacing both of which he said would be very expensive and may not be worth it for the amount of miles I have on the car.
He was very knowledgeable and helpful and he didn’t even want to charge me for diagnostics. He even went as far to plug a leak I had in my tire ($ 10)
These guys are very honest and can be trusted to give you an honest evaluation of your car.
I would highly recommend them and I’ll definitely be back for service.

I bought an Audi recently and needed to get a wheel balance and some other things. I found these guys on Unilocal and went there today and met Igor. He was great and actually talked me out of doing a few things like changing the power steering fluid. Kearny Auto Spa said I needed to change it and Igor said the fluid was fine. Igor balanced my wheels for what I felt was a fair price and was extremely helpful by showing and explaining some things he saw with the car. He even checked my brakes as a courtesy to see if they were installed properly. I had a great experience and will be coming back as needed.

Honest and speedy. They are knowledgeable and nice! They are also animal activists and advocates I love that. Accents and delivery of speech and can be hard to understand and someone’s comes across as aggressive, however these are just cultural differences and not a reflection on their work.

Thank you! Had the check engine light on and knew what had to be fixed and knew it could have easily cost me over $ 1000. I found this spot on Unilocal and it was close to home so I figured it was time to see about getting her (VW Jetta) fixed. Alex and Igor were both very polite and pleasant. I waited a while for the diagnosis and it was exactly what I thought so I had a rough estimate of what it should cost in my head. It was even less and I couldn’t be happier.
They had my car fixed within a day.
I definitely recommend this spot for your cars needs!

What a great place for repairs. Alex & Igor were very helpful & showed me exactly what was wrong with my car (actually brought me into the garage & demonstrated the issue!!) They are very straightforward & honest. They went above & beyond my expectations to help with my repair. I would highly recommend them. Hard for a woman to trust anyone when it comes to automotive repair & I trust these guys wholeheartedly!

What a find!!! I happened to be making a work delivery in the area and needed my oil changed. I came onto Unilocal!to help me find a place to go, and this joint popped up. I figured it was an oil change, what harm could they really do.
Not only were they extremely helpful and kind, but they even treated me like a human and not like a paycheck like so many dealership mechanics do. He did a «full undercarriage inspection» and at the end even complimented my vehicle.
I really like this place, no underhanded tactics to get more money out of me, just good honest mechanics.

This is the place to go if your warranty is up on your car, I’ve taken my car there for brakes, lights, emissions, nails in tires etc. and have always gotten a fair price and never had persisting problems. They also will check engine light and let you know the error code free. Their English is a little rough around the edges but I kinda like it, I refer to them as «zee crazy russians». Obviously they aren’t going to get everything right so unfortunately the guy that posted the bad review happened to be that one exception, or it could be the simple fact that its a Honda Accord and they’re garbage cars to begin with

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Alex & Igor’s shop today. I had to be patient because my car had a complicated electrical problem but Igor got to the bottom of it and got all my jacked up lights working again, very cool. Also gave me a great price on a few other parts I needed, and didn’t squeeze me on the Labor even though it was a long day. On top of that, the owners are a pair of nice guys who set me up watching College Football in their waiting room, good times.
Highly reccomended
