I contacted the company because of the extremely positive reviews here on Unilocal.I was not disappointed.
Amir came out and gave me a quote to check and service my ac, clean the air ducts, and completely rebuild the heater furnace (which had a number of internal issues caused by a previous repair many years earlier.)
At first, the quote of $ 1,800.00 seemed rather high. However, the repairs and service ended up requiring 3 guys a total of 9 hours (taking less than 30 minutes for lunch) to complete. A special thanks, not just to Amir, but also Rafael and Jaime for working so hard (except for lunch, they never stopped working), being very polite, and maintaining a fantastic level of professionalism.
I should add, that I had two other companies provide quotes. One quote was only slightly less and the second one was significantly higher.
I own a few rentals, and for big jobs, they are the best I have ever dealt with.

Our AC quit working so we had Amir come out to give us an estimate for both units. Since summer will be here shortly and the units are at least 20 years old it was time. By the time we received the estimate the other AC unit quit working as well. So they sent two crews out to take care of both systems in one day — so AMAZING! We thought it would take days to get all the work done. Beyond is a great description since they went above and BEYOND what I expected! :-)

I’m not easy to please. The owner of the company Amir will be there at every step, how often does that happen? I figured he’d ask me to Unilocal him because how else would he have all these good reviews? He did not ask, the guy is sincere. He will make it right no matter what. How often does that happen? His prices are even on the lower end.

I would like to recommend this company as an excellent and professional company.

We purchased a deal for our Dryer vent to be cleaned out. On time, polite, and super trustworthy. Did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything. Did his job and left didn’t try to sell me any other services. Would highly recommend.

I am very glad that we contacted Heating Cooling and Beyond! We have been having problems with our A/​C unit for the last 7 years. The unit did not work properly and did not cool the entire house. During the years, I had a few professionals that tried to fix it without success. Amir and his team were very professional and efficient! They worked long hours to fix the A/​C unit and we are very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Heating Cooling and Beyond!

It was one of the hottest days of the year. I couldn’t even get a call back from most of the other people I called. Then by a stroke of luck, I called these guys who came to my house within two hours of my call! They had the part available (thank god) replaced it for the bad one, and went on their way! Now I know what the «beyond» means in their name, because they certainly went beyond my expectations! Thanks Amir and Jaime!!!

Amir is my trusted A/​C maintenance professional. He never fails to be honest, reliable and thorough when inspecting and maintaining my heating and cooling systems.
Yesterday, he climbed up into my blistering hot attic to check the heating system and replace the filter. He changed the filter in the upstairs hallway and carefully inspected the cooling system. He told me a few years ago that I have a small refrigerant leak, yet said he can keep the a/​c in good condition by replacing the amount of refrigerant that had been lost. I watched as he efficiently went about the tasks required to ensure both heating and cooling systems would continue operating smoothly.
I am confident others will find Amir to be a kind, efficient, honest and reliable person.

I meant to write this review a long time ago when Amir and his team installed my originally system, but I never got around to it. They were recently out for our annual service and it reminded me how professional these guys are and prompted me to get the review done.
We built a fairly large house about 4 years ago which had pretty complex requirements from an HVAC perspective. Lot’s of zones, automation, multiple units, linear vents, etc. We had several companies bid on the job at the time. Not only did Amir give us the best quote, but he followed up with really great service. They worked hard to solve problems that we had not anticipated and always went above and beyond to make sure we got the best possible result.
After the job was completed, they came back several times to make minor adjustments as we settled into the house and started using the system. They always responded quickly when we called and never charged us for follow up calls related to the initial installation. After the initial adjustments were made, our system has worked flawlessly, saving us thousands of dollars due to how it was set up and how efficient it works.
Since then they have done an annual service on our system and again, whether it’s Amir personally or one of his team they always show up on-​time, are friendly, never make a mess and charge us a fair price.
I also referred Amir to a good friend not too long ago who was having problems with her AC. She had been told by another company that she needed a completely new system. She told me that Amir was able to repair her existing system at a fraction of the cost and was also very happy with the service.
It’s hard to find good honest people in the service business these days so it’s always nice to find a gem that you can refer to others. Heating Cooling and Beyond is definitely one of those gems!

We bought a Conejo Valley Deal for a carbon monoxide detector and furnace inspection. Setting up the appointment was pleasant and prompt. Amir was very friendly and I feel he provided excellent service. I buy a good number of groupons and Conejo Deals… I feel many of these companies treat you with less respect than the non-​deal customers. This is not the case with Heating Cooling and Beyond. I definitely recommend this company!!!

Amir came out & gave me a second estimate on fixing my heating unit. It was very close to the first estimate (a tad higher) but he offered me a discount since I found him through Angie’s list, which brought the price down. He also came out right away and was very personable. He offered to bring a crane out the very next morning at 7:30 AM to replace the unit altogether. He gave me strategies for saving money by not replacing the entire platform but rather using a sheet-​metal platform which he had built and brought in. His team was right on time at 7:30 AM and completed the project quickly and efficiently. One of his workers accidentally broke one of my skylights, but Amir quickly replaced it and Jamie let me know. The replacements were not the same as the ones that I had had before so I asked that they replace the skylights with clear skylights. They did not complain at all, but rather went and got clear skylights, put them in, and asked my opinion before they sealed them. Very professional. Very efficient. I would definitely recommend this service. Thank you.

Amir is the contractor that we all dream of. Smart, knowledgeable, polite, nice, reliable, reasonably priced, and HONEST.
You can’t go wrong with this guy. I wish he did more than just heat and air, I’d hire him to do EVERYTHING at my house!!! My home warranty sent out some jokers to fix my hvac unit. They said it was a dirty filter. NOT. Got a second opinion, there were pinholes in the coil. OK. Those guys were too expensive. Got the home warranty to get me the unit at their cost and a cash out to have my own guy do it. No one wanted to install an already purchased unit since that is where they make the most money, on the markup on the unit price. Then I found Amir. Oh Amir. He picked up the unit, brought the crane, did a beautiful job on the install (I’ve since had other contractors up on the roof and they complimented the install and asked who had done it!!!). And he did it for a great price, with a smile on his face.
I can’t recommend him enough.

In 2012 we were having problems with our AC unit at home when we decided to get some estimates. Our AC was turning off at 5pm every evening and just the fan would run. We were living in Woodland Hills area and it is still so hot after 5pm that we needed to use our AC. After a lot of trouble shooting, we still could not figure out what the problem was. Our best guess was the thermostat was broken.
We decided to get three estimates:
1) Heating Cooling & Beyond was referred to me by a friend
2) Another local company that was referred by another friend
3) The last estimate was a company I found on my own
The first company that was referred to us told us that our problem was much larger than just the thermostat. They said that the entire unit was broken and that it was only working as a fan. When we told them that it worked until 5pm everyday, then switched to a fan, they changed their story and said the whole unit will stop working in one week and that we had to replace everything. The company I found on my own, never showed up (which was just lovely because I went home early from work to meet them).
Amir from Heating Cooling & Beyond worked around my schedule (I couldn’t take anymore time off from work to meet someone during the day). He told us it was just our thermostat. Amir replaced our thermostat and our problem was fixed right away. I believe the price was very fair.
We recently moved. At our new house the heater was unplugged and turned off. My husband was out of town and I did not feel safe messing around with the furnace with out some guidance. I called Amir to ask him if he could walk me through it over the phone. He said that he would take care of it for me. I expected him to schedule me for later in the week, but instead he offered to come by that evening! He was able to fit me in-​between other appointments. Amir did not even charge me for this visit!
To sum up my two experiences with Heating Cooling & Beyond (once in 2012 and once in 2013, both times were with Amir) I would have to say; extremely polite, honest, highly reliable, and very fair.
Based on my two past experiences with Heating Cooling & Beyond, I would highly recommend them.

Be very careful with these guys. Amir seems very honest and nice when he is at your house, and appears honest. Unfort. that is not the case. We purchased a deal through Conejo Deals for a maintenance on our AC unit, which includes a filter and inspection. We just moved into our house 3 months ago, so this was a perfect deal for us.
Amir came out and did an inspection for us. Told us that we needed an entire new duct system (we now know our duct system is not very old) and the cost estimate was $ 3500. Told us it was a HEALTH ISSUE, and that we are losing 30−40% of our air and heat through the attic. He also informed us there was asbestos left in small piles in the attic, that he would remove (I believe you must be a licensed company that specializes in this type of removal, along with city permits; he was not going to do any of this, just remove it for us, he claimed). We also had one room with no air going through the vent; he informed us there was no duct to that room, and there were holes and tears in our duct system, where we are losing the air and also rodents may enter…
Well, after this initial shock of how much this would cost, we decided to call our home warranty company to see what they would cover. They said they would have to send out their own contractors to inspect, which they did. We were informed at this point that the quote we got from Amir was a scam. While there was some tears in our duct system, they are superficial; we are not losing heat or air in the attic, and the room that had no air or duct, had a duct, just not attached and was attached within 2 minutes and air flow was great — that was a quick fix that took 5 minutes. We asked about the asbestos, and we were informed there is no asbestos in our attic.
At this point, we felt confused, so we decided to hire a 3^rd AC company to come out for a 3^rd opinion. They told us the same thing the insurance contractor told us, we do not need a new duct system, we have a newer unit and system that is in great shape. No asbestos in the attic. We also decided to call an exterminator to see if we had rodents, as Amir told us there were droppings. The exterminator told us the droppings were approximately 10 years old (bc they were white), and all areas to attic have been sealed and no rodents for years…
In closing, Amir and his company are very dishonest and want to take advantage of families in the area; very sad seeing that he is local in the area and plays that card. We have informed Conejo Deals of this situation also, hopefully they will refund us and also not allow this company to sell deals on their site, as ultimately it is a reflection upon them as well; they should be screening their clients better… I suggest if you get a quote from Amir and Heating Cooling & Beyond, before you sign a contract, I would pay another service the $ 65 for a second opinion.

Amir was great! We had central air added to our existing heating system and ductwork. He came in and gave us a very straightforward quote. He told us exactly what he was going to do and what we would be charged for, including the various permits required for the entire installation. He had a team of guys come to the house and they laid out protective tarps and sheets to keep the carpet clean. They removed the old heater for us (which was 30 years old and needed to be replaced anyway) and installed a new one along with the AC unit outside. Their work looks great, they cleaned up all the mess way better than my expectations. On top of that, they removed our old crusty wall units for free. Good riddance! The new AC works great, and just in time for summer!

Amir done unit change out for us. Upgrade the unit for infinity system with multi zone system. AMAZING. Very professional. The price was great. The service was amazing. The clean up was super clean. Whoever will hire Amir, will never be upset. Amir walk the extra mile or his clients. He is great.
