Take an architectural tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unity Temple — one of the most famous buildings in the world by the world’s most famous architect. Unity Temple is a National Historic Landmark and an icon of modern architecture. The oldest Frank Lloyd Wright structure still in the hands of its original owners and used for its original purpose, it is open to the public 7 days a week, year-round, and attracts thousands of visitors every year. When the original church building was struck by lightning and burned to the ground in June 1905, Frank Lloyd Wright was chosen from among several architects. He designed a daring, groundbreaking new structure, which now stands as the last surviving public building from his Oak Park «Prairie» period. Unity Temple Restoration Foundation restores and preserves Unity Temple.
