Much attention is concentrated on specialty coffee. One example; I personally roast all our coffee. No robusta coffees are blended in, this is all gourmet arabica coffees. No cost cutting. Yes, we sell bulk coffee. Thats where it starts. I also select the teas to be offered. Not the leftover fines, but whole leaf, organic teas! Using choice ingredients is one other necessity for an enjoyable experience. No secrets, come take a look at what we use.

History

Established in 2006.

Roasters history goes back further than the original opening date. I began roasting in 2002. It was shortly before then I became interested in coffee shops and was very curious about the roasting process. Looking to purchase gourmet coffee at a less than premium price and add a personal touch led me to my first purchase of a bag of green beans.

As a fith generation californian, one may guess I don’t have much of an adventurous side. My developing tastes for exotic cuisine and good wine, blended well with the curiosity in coffee. To perfect that cup of coffee to be as enjoyable as the smell of freshly ground beans has been a passion.
