I owe Joe a BIG thanks for recently helping me out with my Buyers of an Oakland property. I was in a tough and time-​sensitive situation and needed the help of an appraiser immediately. I reached out to Joe after finding him on Unilocal and he saved the day! I literally called him around dinner time just as he was about to sit down and eat. Luckily for me and my clients, he picked up the phone and did not hesitate to help us out. Within a couple of hours, he was able to offer an objective and sound opinion on a property my buyers were putting an offer on. His evaluation of the property gave my buyers the confidence to move forward competitively and they ended up winning the multiple offer bidding war. Many thanks to Joe for his quick work, knowledge of the Rockridge neighborhood, and willingness to help us out with hardly any notice at all. I needed an appraiser for two properties: one residential and one rental/​commercial. I highly recommend Joe. In choosing an appraiser, I needed to be sure this person is certified to cover a 4 unit rental over $ 1M. While some appraisers are certified as AL-​Residential License, Joe is certified as AG-​General License at very competitive rates. Be sure to check the appraisers certification status before hiring.
Joe was professional. He was respectful of the tenants, easy to work with, and most importantly for me, Joe delivered on time as promised. I would use him again.

I highly recommend Joe Spallone with Access Appraisal in Oakland. We recently used his services to appraise a residence we were considering purchasing. Joe was professional, thorough and prompt. Joe was able to get us the appraisal with a very short turn around time since we needed it in a hurry (and he did not charge us extra unlike some services out there). We found his rates to be super reasonable and competitive in the marketplace. I am a real estate lawyer so I have a lot of experience reviewing and evaluating appraisals. I was very happy with his product and workmanship and would use him again in a heartbeat.
