Campos Auto Repair

Needed my headlight repaired and after discovering it wasn’t going to be a repair I could make myself the lady at O’Reilly’s referred me to Campos since they were located behind them. I’m thinking I’ll be in and out in 30 mins tops… yeah right! The mechanic takes the headlight apart to remove the bulb. After removing the bulb and attempting to put it in for at least 15 minutes he calls over the owner who discovers the light won’t fit because it is the low beam and I need the high beam. I tell him my high beam works my low beam doesn’t. They still instruct me to take the part back and the lady at O’Reilly says that she thought it was my low beam that was out. I tell her yes that’s correct, walk back and tell them the same thing I had just told them. They insist that I get the high beam so I walk back and purchase the high beam bulb. The mechanic puts the high beam bulb in, hooks the light back up and drops the hood to instruct me to turn the lights on. BAM! No light! He unhooks it and calls the owner back over. The owner spoke to him in Spanish then tells me in English that they have other cars to work on right now and I can bring my car back Monday for them to fix it because a piece was on too tight. It was 4pm when I left and I probably arrived around 1pm. The way I saw it was since they weren’t going to be making any real money off changing my light that wasn’t a concern for them.
