Brought my laptop to Dean to have it cleaned up she did a great job kept it overnight then done the next day. She’s very pleasant and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend her

Dean is an amazing talent with computers. She helped my dad when his computer had a virus. She got him all fixed up in one day, cleaned his computer and installed some antivirus protection. My dad loves her! No problems since and both my dad and I are very happy.

I’ve had two major desktop nightmares in the last six months, and both times Dean was excellent at providing possible causes, descriptions of how she would verify the cause and what she could do to resolve the issue. She’s able gauge a customer’s technical knowledge and adjust her language so that all this information can be understood. Dean is very honest and will walk a customer through a cost-​benefit explanation if the customer needs to make a choice between two different solutions. I have found that she’s very reliable, thorough and responsive to her customers. She also offers great advise on how to protect and preserve your data.

Dean worked for me as a computer tech for about 4 years until I sold my business in the 1990s. She is hard working, loyal, smart, knowledgable, and honest. She is as good as they get.

This is our 2^nd time using Dean’s services. This time we had a brand new desk top onto which we had evidently downloaded corrupted files and a virus — all we knew was that it was a month old and was already slow and crashed constantly. She efficiently diagnosed the problem, very clearly explained the problem in terms we understood, cleaned up the files, and installed software to prevent this from happening again. Her prices for all this were very reasonable with a quick turnaround.

I originally found her right here on Unilocal.She wasn’t able to really help me with my laptop screen fix, so why am I giving her 5 stars? it’s because of all the timely work she did trying to figure out what my the problem with my laptop screen was. over the phone she was able to give me a quick estimate of what a typical repair would cost, presuming there were no other significant problems. however, it turns out that the part she needed was very difficult to find, so she contacted 5 of her sources, scoured eBay, and they resorted to calling HP. As anyone knows, looking for a difficult to find part or trying to call a company like HP for a part can be quite time consuming. At the end, it turns out the cost of repair would be about double what her typically repair would cost, and wouldn’t be worth it for me. But for her time, including taking apart my computer and trying to track down the correct part, she charged me very minimally for her time. Had she charged me as lawyers do, I could be out a small fortune. Anyway, for her efforts and goodwill, she’s won me over as a future customer should I have future computer problems. Hopefully you’ll give her a chance to you show you the same.

Dean is the cat’s pajamas. I’ve been dealing with a rat’s nest of phone lines and wires in my office that I’ve been squaring off with for several years. Quickly and efficiently, Dean brought order to my home-​office chaos.
As everyone else has said, she communicates promptly and is a very focused and knowledgeable. She also explains complicated (to me) things clearly and intelligibly. Overall, I couldn’t be happier and recommend her unreservedly.

Dean is a life saver!
My laptop screen was smashed in the middle of my grad school applications. I gave it to her on Tuesday and got it back by Friday. She was very quick and efficient. It also cost less than the two other estimates I got for the fix.
So glad I found her!

My boss’ computer crashed and Dean was able to get on it right away! My boss has been using Dean’s services for years is highly satisfied with her work. She’s very responsive and listens well. When you’re telling her about your computer issues, you can tell she’s «there» and tracking with you. Her time and prices are reasonable and she is incredibly good at what she does. She let’s you know what’s going on without the technical jargon, which is great and easy to understand! We’d definitely recommend Dean to anyone with who had technical issues.

I just wanted to write and say what a great experience I recently had with Dean. She responded right away (same day) and was clearly very knowledgeable, and professional. Wow… what a great experience watching Dean Bradley trouble-​shoot my internet connection problem. She arrived exactly on time and immediately went to work, determined the source of the difficulty, recommended various solutions and assisted in contacting the service providers.
An aggravating internet connection situation that we had tried to correct for months, was solved in one hour at a reasonable rate.

I just wanted to a more recent update to further comment on what a great resource Dean is. She has helped me eke out longer a longer iife for the huge custom system I’m reluctant to retire.
She’s always quick to respond and communicates regularly as she troubleshoots and problem-​solves.

About a week ago I acquired a new computer, new printer, and some new software. I needed a computer tech to help me put it all together. After looking through Unilocal,I decided to try Dean Bradley.
I’m glad I did. She came over to my home a few hours after I called her. She’s pleasant and knowledgeable, and she did a fine job of making my transition from Windows XP to Windows 7 relatively painless.
I was particularly impressed by the way she handled one difficult problem: The computer manufacturer (Dell) had failed to install the antivirus program I had ordered. Dean called Dell, spoke to two or three dummies there who insisted that the antivirus was installed. Finally she reached a competent person who verified that Dean was right and proceeded to download the required software.
When I need computer help again, my first choice certainly will be Dean.

I’m a single senior female with a limited knowledge of computers. I can address some minor issues on my own, but reached the limit of my knowledge when trying to install a new printer which required a driver download I just couldn’t make work. So I called a couple of Unilocal’s top rated people, and Dean was the first to call back. She was also able to squeeze me in the same day, which may have been luck, but I got the feeling she understood the urgency of her clients’ problems and tried to accommodate us as best she could. She was very pleasant to work with. My printer was humming in an hour, in spite of my sketchy wireless connection, and while she could have charged anything she wanted as far as I was concerned, her rates were very reasonable. Dean Bradley is going in my Rolodex. She is my solution to computer frustration.

Dean makes great metaphors! Her way of explaining vague computer concepts is through logical and simple metaphors. That helped me a lot to understand why I could have room on my hd but still need more memory. What’s more, I could explain it to my housemate!
Dean’s prompt and easy-going.She’s knowledgeable and thorough and patient. I’m really happy to know my search for a competent, reliable computer technician is over. I’ll use her every time I need anything computer related.

Tech support without the attitude! Dean is really a pro at what she does, and is able to help you understand what’s going wrong with your ailing computer. As an independent, she can take the time and attention that’s needed to really analyze and solve the problem, rather than just putting a band-​aid on it that’s going to bite you again in a few weeks or months. And she has no need to «upsell» you to any product – just focus on what’s right for your needs.
Don’t get tired of dealing with robotic phone tech support reading to you from a script. Call Dean first. You’ll be glad you did.

I am not sure why my experience was so vastly different from most of the reviews here for Dean Bradley. She was unable to fix our problems, suggested that the tasks we hoped to perform were too complex to work properly, she was VERY difficult to talk to, she was a poor listener, and she insisted that I didn’t understand what I was talking about. In general our on-​site visit from her was an overall terrible experience for our company and a complete waste of money for us.
We were very fortunate that another highly reviewed Unilocal IT consultant was able to come a few days later, be pleasant to work with, and easily fix ALL the problems that Dean had said were too complex to be able to be fixed properly. What a breathe of fresh air after our disastrous visit with Dean. I’m glad Dean has worked out well for other people, but I can definitely say that we would never call her again.
