Stopped by after getting a burrito next door. First time here. Never seen or heard of this place before. It looked very cute so had to drop in. I was thirsty and my usual milk tea boba everywhere else is Taro. I ordered one of that. Also, 2 eclairs and a molten lava cake. Altogether was around $ 8. I asked if there was a minimum charge to use a debit card. Cashier said no. I forgot to ask if there was a fee since most of the reviewers said there was a fee. The boba drink is only one size. It’s a great portion for the price paid. It tasted ok and just like any other Taro flavor but I didn’t like how it’s powder. The powder was kind of over-powering. I got a headache from drinking it half way thru and stopped. The eclairs were good. The molten lava cake was different. It has a brownie texture. Not soft and not moist. There’s really not a chocolate filling in the middle. I expected a good amount of creamy chocolate but it was just thin spread layer of cream. I might be back and try the cheese cake. Those look very good.

Cute, little, nicely decorated bakery/café tucked away between other eateries. Gorgeous set up of all things sweet! Asked if any drinks were made with real fruits… no :(. Not a fan of powdered drinks, but didn’t want to walk away empty handed so asked the guy there(perhaps owner) what’s popular. He recommended taro, coconut or honeydew milk tea. Stuck with my usual taro. Requested rainbow jelly instead of boba(in case it wasn’t fully cooked). He mixed the drink in a shaker… Not even a blender, boo! Powder was still cakey on the roof. Disappointed. Too sweet even though I have a sweet tooth. Cheesecake was more of a sponge cake. Weird! Everything else looks delicious, but I spared myself the unnecessary calories & health consequences of intaking excess sugar.

Honeydew drink and black tea milk tea drink = delicious. The boba was burnt. :-( Prices — reasonable. Service — friendly.

This is a lovely restaurant with a lot of treats. I am a big fan of bubble tea… and they have it. Unfortunately, the bubbles were hard. They weren’t the right consistency. I may be back for other delicious treats, but I will keep looking for a good bubble tea place.

I’ve been coming here weekly for the past 2.5 months now with my classmates. Bubble teas: no complaints. I’ve tried coffee, mocha, taro, green tea latte. I enjoyed them all. One classmate of mine always looks forward to coming here and always gets lychee tea. Pastries: LOVE the«cheese cake» ! Note: this is NOT the NY style, but oh-so-good! They do have a NY style cheese, I have not tried it yet. I have tried the molten lava cake. Not over flowing with the chocolate middle, but I still personally like it. I also ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. It was beautiful and yummy! And for the party we also ordered a lot of their chocolate roll cakes… Also yummy! They are Mongolian family. The owner was saying their culture doesn’t particularly like desserts too sugary. But it will still hit the spot !! I recommend this place! Clean and very nice customer service!

This place TOTALLY deserves Five Stars! Friendly, clean and in Oakland… woo hoo! I am a creature of habit. So if I like something, I keep coming back. I walk up and down 17th street several times a week. I live 3 blocks. The colors of the place attract you and invite you in. I love sweets and theirs are so tasty. The eclairs are my favorite and my daughter and I get a tea drink a couple times in a week, So often now, that«TJ» lets my daughter shake up her own drink! How awesome is that. She really gets a kick out of participating. They allow us to sample the new items, bringing them to the table as we sit and wait for our Bubble tea. I noticed a couple of people there last time on their laptops… YES, they have free WiFi. Now, I have another place I can sneak to vs. the library to chill and get online outside of my home. Oakland needs more businesses like this. They are tech-saavy too; with«frequent buyer»(loyalty) cards you can scan and keep right on your keychain. Love it!!! I recommend everybody stop by and give them a try. I think you will be glad you did… Cheers!!!

Love this place! Always organized, clean & comforting environment. Not to mention the pastries are excellent! Chocolate Cheesecake with Oreo cookie bottom is on point! You can never go wrong with their chocolate molten lava cake(ask them to warm it up) so damn good! Hopefully they’ll get Red Velvet in soon! Love their Boba Tea’s! Green tea boba always does it for me! These two gentlemen are always nice, friendly & customer service oriented, which is so important & which is why I will always come back. Please support their efforts & help them continue to grow their business that’s worthy and deserving.

New boba joint opened near my school so I had to try it. I wasn’t feeling anything with milk that day so I went for a mango green tea with boba. It was refreshing and the boba are chewy and a tiny bit sweet which is fine by me! They also serves pastries such as cake, cookies and eclairs. I tried this cookie sandwich which had chocolate cream in the middle of two Madeline’s. It was too buttery for me so I’ll probably try something else next time. Yup I’ll be coming back for my boba fix!

Hi, my name is Jacque, and I’m an addict of all things sweet, including bubble tea(aka milk tea/boba). So, imagine my surprise when I happened to walk by a little, quaint shop displaying a menu filled with their colorful bubble tea drinks. A bubble tea place just around the corner from where I work AND I don’t have to walk all the way to Chinatown whenever I’m craving for bubble tea? I’ve just discovered a hidden gem, and it felt like Christmas! Needless to say, my eyes immediately lit up with joy. I first visited this place last Friday, while lunching with some people from work, and three days prior to that, this place just opened. Since my first visit, I’ve returned more times than I’m willing to admit. It has quickly become my Starbucks replacement. How can I say no to a large cup of joy for only $ 3.95? I highly recommend the TARO and HONEYDEW milk tea. It has the right amount of sugar to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings. Their tapioca pearls may not be perfectly consistent, but it’s decent: pretty soft and chewy. In addition to bubble teas, they also have cakes, cookies, and even sandwiches. But, I only go there for their bubble teas(and an occasional slice of cake, if I’m really craving for something sweet). At the risk of increasing my wait time here, I’d highly recommend this place to bubble tea fans. And if you have no clue what that is, I’d say… head over and give it a try.(: Tip: To avoid the credit card surcharge, bring cash. Note: Today, some of my colleagues and I decided to sit in to enjoy our bubble tea, and we received a complimentary slice of cake.(This may be because they’re new and want to increase their customer loyalty, in which case… I like them even more now!)
