Store that sells a large variety of ingredients and products used in Chinese herbal and traditional medicines. Everything will be completely indecipherable if you’re not Chinese and not well-​versed in Chinese traditional remedies, but if you happen to be my mom, who is licensed in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, you’ll find the selection and prices here comprehensive and decent. In fact, it’s her go-​to store among all such outlets that she’s visited in Oakland or San Francisco. Worth checking out if you’re already familiar with what’s offered here.

King of Ginseng Co is a little grocery store in Oakland Chinatown that sells various little Chinese herbal remedies and products.
The store has a lot of Chinese herbs and little other things as well. It has business and does it well. Prices are okay for Chinatown.
Customer Service is good, the guy that checked us out was nice and spoke to us in Chinese. They even gave us a plastic bag for free, score!
