I really hate to do this but when it comes to my nails which are one of the most important objects on my body besides my eyebrows it’s kinda a big deal for them to 1) not be perfect and for 2) not last long. This place has new owners… They had two ladies working both days I went in meaning any walk ins have to wait. I waited 20 minutes, my nails which was a fill took an hour and a half. So I was there a total of two hours. That was kinda annoying but nothing to be angry about. The ladies were very sweet and nice so the customer service wasn’t a problem. When I go into a nail place I already know what I want in my head. They did not have red tips or red acrylic for the tips. So I had to get the tips painted on; which I hate because I know it will always chip regardless if gel is applied on top. Ok that was the main problem. Second problem is that I expect my nails to look super shiny almost glistening in the light and sun if I’m getting gel– isn’t that the point of gel? Well it was barely shiny. They looked cute meaning better than they looked when I came in. I paid 30 bucks for a fill with gel. Oh and with painted on tips. How that makes sense I do not know. Okay here’s another main issue! The next day my nails already looked a week old. I was so upset. Chipping, dull, foggy, one even broke. I went back the next day and they fixed it all, no questions asked and they were very nice about it. It still wasn’t glossy sparkly how it should have been. 3 days later not only does the red chip again. All ten nails are foggy and look old! It’s now been a week and they look like they are a month old and one popped off. I typically wear my nails for 3 weeks with no problems but after coming to this place I am going to have to spend $ 30 again only a week later. I’m too embarrassed and kinda fed up to even go back. Like really!!!

The old ass guy here does nails soooo good! Especially the design! I guess they have two shops so he was at the other one for a while and I asked for the guy(not knowing he was gone yet) and all of a sudden they gave me this young guy… this dude SUCKED. I mean he burned my nails and it was bleeding. Came back another week & the lady did an ok job. Everyone was mad the older man wasn’t there for a while bc to be honest he’s the only one who knows how to make them look fabulous! I never came back here again since he left for a while. Idkk if he’s back or not but I do miss the way he did my nails! if you don’t get the older man than hopefully the girls do a good job for you as they wouldn’t for me. And if the young guy is still there then don’t go to him!

I have had a bad experience twice with lady bug. their service is not good. I’ve had to wait over and hour twice before. And every time I go the it’s only three people to serve. Also not sanitary, they do not clean they ndevises they use on you with the next person. Very rude as well. On my birthday an unlicensed guy said he will not serve me because I’m to picky. I have corrected him about his job because his work can be a bit sloppy and not clean. Want to make a big point that they are very rude and not everyone their has a license to do nails. if you a lady like me and you just simple want some to do a good job. They will basically tell you. You want to much .not happy with them

When they first opened it was the place to be. Over time the service wasn’t as great. Some of the nail techs are sweet & generous. Today on my visit I asked to get my pedi and full set at the same time & the guy told me no. For someone like myself(hairstylist) where customer service plays a major roll you should never flat out tell your customer especially without explanation. I still decided to stay bc I love the paraffin wax and hot stones. When it came to my full set my tech came in on the phone, didn’t greet me and didn’t get off the phone. She continued her conversations and kept stopping to adjust her phone between her shoulder & ear. When she did get off the phone she checked it once and answered at least four other times. I understand acrylic can’t go on cuticle but she left a portion of my nail untouched. After my complaint she went back to fix it but seemed as if it was a problem. I’m writing this review as I sit here because I’m not happy with my experience here today. I wish I was done but my experience didn’t end. My nail tech said no design before I even showed her what design I wanted.

When they first open was fantastic, kept coming back, after a couple of months, new faces doing nails, crappy job, none could do the designs they claim to do. End it up going back to my old place.

Lady Bug Nails is a cute name for a nail salon and is a new addition to the Laurel shopping district. They been in the area for 5 months. Too bad the only thing I like about this place is the cute name. I been here twice and the first time, my regular mani/pedi turned out fine. However, the second time I went, I got a gel mani and regular pedi, which turned out not so good. I had two ladies doing my nails. After this experience, I prefer getting my mani and pedi done separately so my mani turns out well. I don’t like stretching my arms over so the lady can shape and paint my nails. I wanted a gel pedi too but instead they applied regular polish that was a bit darker shade than the color on my hands. They were supposed to match. The nail polish was applied unevenly and my nails on my toes were not cut evenly. One of my big toes nail was crooked. They did my mani/pedi as if they were still in cosmetology school. Lady Bug Nails also has a small hair salon inside, with one hairstylist who mainly cuts hair. They also have waxing services. Unfortunately, they have an inadequate area for drying your nails. They only have two sad mini fans to dry your toes and hands. It took forever to dry my toes with those two mini fans. I ended up having to get two toes redone because the nail polish smeared after I left. The inadequate area where you dry your nails is the same waiting area for those getting their hair done. They have this huge plasma TV on the wall but instead of playing a show, they just show a continuous slide of different nail designs. It gets boring after a while. At least they play some music. Though I am not into fake nails and designs, I credit them for their creativity. From the pictures I saw of real clients who got nail designs, they do a great job in that area. I will not return to this nail salon and do not recommend coming here. The plus side is that they currently have a 50% off deal for their nail services, but that is just a promotion to get new clients. I am sure the promotion will end soon.
