Long overdue review of Elizabeth and Morgan. The short of it — they’re amazing. And in particular, Elizabeth is an all-​star. We got married in August of 2015. It turned out as perfect as one could hope — in large part to the tireless work and planning of Elizabeth and the day of assistance of Morgan.
Below is my thank you email to Elizabeth, which I think sums up why she was so awesome:
Before we shoot off on our honeymoon tomorrow morning (yikes!), we both wanted to say again how thankful we are for all the amazing and hard work you put in to help make the wedding a smashing success. We literally wouldn’t have been able to do it without your calming presence, quick wit, limitless patience, control of all things in the universe, and creativeness.
I’m sure every couple convinces themselves that they put on a wonderful wedding, but we think we did a pretty damn good job. Everything worked out perfectly from the decorations, the indoor and outdoor space, creating the dance floor, and even enjoying fortuitous fireworks. Of course, all of that was made possible with your and Morgan’s hard work and preparation — whether is was beautifully decorating the tables, having Morgan put together an awesome display for the photos, skillfully managing the vendors like a well-​oiled machine, keeping us organized for the ceremony, taking care of us during yichud, reminding us about the schedule, keeping our toasts and guest moving to the buffet line, and even packing a hugely appreciated to go bag of food that was ravenously consumed by us and friends at 2am.
Numerous folks commented that the wedding and all its facets really reflected us as a couple, which is the highest compliment we could have received. We view that as a testament to your expertise and guidance through the planning process. We’d also like to think that like minded folks find each other :) We don’t think it is a coincidence that we gravitated to you and your approach to wedding planning. You’re amazing and we just wanted to encapsulate that for our wedding. Survey says — success.
You should know that just days after the wedding, Britt told me that she wanted to do another wedding because it was so much fun. That’s all your fault — for making everything so fun and smooth. I for one am content to leave it at one, but if we were to throw another shindig that large, I couldn’t imagine anyone else I’d want to do it with.

My wife and I got married a little over a year ago, and It was the best day of my life. Elizabeth was key in making it happen. She was a dream to work with throughout the planning and was on top of everything at the wedding.
Imagine a destination Palm Springs wedding with two parties and every other detail handmade or sourced vintage awesomeness. Got a good picture of a crazy wedding with a lot of moving parts? Great! Elizabeth was the one who brought it all together.
We LOVE her!!!

We had a less than ideal experience with Elizabeth and her team.
Going up to the wedding:
— Elizabeth was frequently on vacation and out of the country and unavailable
— For the calls we did have, I had to keep track of an agenda as they were generally very unorganized. She sold in her services as having structured calls, but didn’t have any sort of order.
— We asked Elizabeth’s team to help send musician recommendations, as well as florists. They only sent one option and they weren’t close to what we had asked for. We ultimately had to spend time booking and finding everything on our own.
— We paid extra for Welcome Dinner services, and ended up completely also doing this on our own.
Day of:
— My bridal party and family complained about my «rude» wedding planner.
— Elizabeth treated our photographer /​vendors very poorly and they also complained about her to us.
— She failed to reserve seats for my family at the front of the ceremony, despite us planning to. Mid walking down the aisle we had to awkwardly ask guests to move back from their seats.
— We were promised an Asst. Coordinator with the service, but that never happened.
— Elizabeth asked my Mom (Mother of the Bride) to go «fetch» items from my room as opposed to doing it herself at one point during the day.
— Elizabeth said she’d keep tabs on our spend limit throughout the evening as we weren’t able to do open bar at the venue. This didn’t happen at all for the Welcome Dinner or the Wedding night and we ended up owed an extra 15k almost overall. We received this call for additional costs on our honeymoon.
In the end, the day of coordinator at the venue saved the day for us and we ended up doing most everything else our selves. Elizabeth brought a negative attitude and experience to our wedding. Would recommend using another planning service.

I’ve known Elizabeth, the principal at Lowe House since high school, so perhaps I’m a bit biased, but I think she and Lowe House Events are simply fantastic.
After experiencing some awfulness with a bad site planner at my sister’s wedding, I knew what can go wrong without having a real planner around. I knew I wanted a coordinator that knew her stuff.
I hired Lowe House Creative for Day of Coordination PLUS, which turned out to be a great savings to me considering Elizabeth and Alyssa worked with me to assemble ALL the flowers for the wedding.
Elizabeth has the experience and calm persona to keep a wedding moving smoothly forward. She can improvise when something doesn’t go as planned and graciously handles guests.
Having Elizabeth and Lowe House Creative team on site for my wedding allowed me to fully enjoy my day with my husband, family and friends.

As a fellow wedding planner, I am a huge advocate for day-​of coordinators and planners. The minute I got engaged, I knew exactly who I was going to ask to be my day-​of coordinator. I’m pretty sure I checked with Elizabeth and our photographer about dates before even choosing the venue! There isn’t anyone else quite so competent, knowledgeable, and as down-​to-​earth as the team at Lowe House. I knew I would be in good hands and I was able to relax (as much as a type-​A planner can), trust, and enjoy my special day!

Wow! What an amazing experience to have Elizabeth help plan our wedding and do the day-​of coordination. She is an amazing combination of knowledgable and experienced with super fun and friendly and warm. The absolute best thing for me in working with Elizabeth was her almost contagious confidence. My now-​husband and i would have been stressing over the millions of decisions that are part of wedding planning, and Elizabeth made us feel great about our own decisions or helped us think through and come up with the right one.
Elizabeth knows everything that is traditional and expected for weddings, and has no attachment to those things; she did not pressure us to go any particular direction, but helped us understand the context and what other people might expect, which was really helpful. Also, she has worked with a ton of bay area vendors and venues which helped ensure everything went smoothly — for instance, our venue, Stones and Flowers Retreat, was really beautiful but hard to communicate with, and an hour and a half from where we live, so we only saw it two times before our wedding. Elizabeth had done other weddings there and knew all the ins-​and-​outs.

We worked with Alyssa of Lowe House Events, and hiring her was TRULY an excellent decision. Being control freaks DYI-​everything-​ers, my partner and I hesitated a lot about hiring a day-​of coordinator for our wedding, but it was such the right decision because it made it possible for us to drop into all of that and not have to worry about the logistics — it made ALL the difference in how much we were able to enjoy and take in. Alyssa was friendly and kind, and exactly the right combination of chill and organized (instant email responses when we needed them!) for us – we had a hard time with a lot of «wedding industry types» but Alyssa totally got us and was NEVER pushy. She made it clear that she was really there to carry out our vision and let us relax — and she truly did it. I did not have a single worry on my wedding day, and I think it was largely because of her being such a capable and awesome coordinator!

Our wedding was phenomenal, in large part thanks to Elizabeth and Morgan. We contracted with Elizabeth as our day-​of coordinator, and it may have been the best decision we made (besides getting married in the first place). She was very responsive and organized, helping us sort out details and finalize decisions with vendors, she kept things running on schedule, and put out a couple little fires (figurative, not literal) that arose over the course of the night. Elizabeth’s and Morgan’s attention to detail and tremendous work ethic helped us just enjoy the day and spend time with the people we care about rather than managing vendors.
Best of all, they did everything with infectious enthusiasm, kindness, and optimism. As stressed and tired as I imagine they may have been, Elizabeth and Morgan were always upbeat and professional, helping assuage our own stress and letting us just have a great time. We could not recommend them any higher.

Having Lowe House Events plan our wedding was the greatest experience. Elizabeth and Morgan cannot be matched for their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail. They helped us focus on what was most important for the day, offering us different options and ideas to fit our modest budget.
The week and day of could have felt crazy, but every email, text and call we sent was answered with clarity and calmness. They walked us through everything from the rehearsal to the day of, and checked in periodically to make sure we were doing ok. Neither of us are big fans of being on display, but Elizabeth and Morgan supported us through the experience, ensuring we had the most memorable and magical time. We truly can’t thank them enough!

When I was planning my wedding in 2013 I always asked friends and acquaintances for their best advice. Pretty much everyone said «Hire a day-​of coordinator!,» so I hired Elizabeth of Lowe House Events.
Elizabeth is an amazing jane-​of-​all-​trades with the toolkit to show for it. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and blended so well into the scene, I didn’t even know she was there until she was tapping me on the shoulder. She even packed my parents’ car with all the leftover alcohol, gifts, etc. as I hung out with friends. As an added benefit, she dealt with all the vendors (and parents!) so my husband and I got to enjoy our day.
Even though we only hired Elizabeth as our day-​of coordinator, she provided lots of support throughout the wedding planning process. She brings a great wealth of expertise and will support your questioning of the «wedding industrial complex,» if that’s your bag.

Simply put, hiring Lowe House was the best money we spent during our wedding planning process. We never, ever, could have done it without this team. I was a (very) reluctant bride and never dreamed of a wedding, especially not a 130 guest event. Elizabeth, Alyssa, and Morgan helped us navigate decisions, prioritize during the planning process, and kept us calm and on track on the wedding day. They turned my anxiety and tight budget into a meaningful, personal, love-​filled, FUN day and we are so grateful. I never thought I would say this, but I LOVED every minute of my wedding.
Elizabeth’s expertise, calm demeanor, confident can-​do attitude, and fun personality were huge contributors to the success of our wedding. She is worth twice what she charges and, knowing what I know now, I would have paid it.
With Lowe House you are in the best possible hands and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Just hire them.

Planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away was not an issue thanks to Elizabeth and Lowe House Events. She kept us on track every step of the way and was a lifesaver the week of the wedding! She was just a «text away» whenever we needed her and the best when we ran into a few issues with the caterer. The wedding was everything that my daughter and new son-​in-​law wanted, with much of the thanks due to Elizabeth and Morgan! I would definitely recommend them.

If you know you’re going to hire a wedding planner/​coordinator, then stop looking and just hire Elizabeth. She. Is. RAD. Elizabeth held our hands as we decided to nix the massive wedding we had originally hired her to help with and instead opted for an intimate ceremony and dinner party celebration with our immediate families and some close friends. Her patience, sense of humor, and unparalleled insider knowledge — I swear that we actually saved money paying her to point out the potential money pitfalls of the wedding industrial complex — were invaluable. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our wedding because we knew that Elizabeth had everything covered. She even successfully managed to shield me from the knowledge that obnoxious hikers wouldn’t vacate our reserved ceremony spot without some persuassion by a few park rangers. Elizabeth, you’re an outstanding event coordinator and person and we’re so happy we met you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. — M & J

If you are getting married anywhere near the bay area call Lowe House Creative and book Alyssa asap. Seriously — the best advice a couple-​to-​be-​wed will get. My husband and I got married a week ago. As I type this we are sitting in the airport about to take off on our honeymoon and we are still talking about how amazing Alyssa was. I personally found the entire wedding planning to be daunting. I do events for a living — but for some reason was totally overwhelmed by the wedding planning process. We also were on somewhat of a budget — and certainly couldn’t afford to hire a full time wedding planner. At the advice and urging of some friends, it was recommended that I find a day of coordinator — I am so grateful for this advice and so so so grateful that I found Lowe House Creative and Alyssa. I must admit, going into it I was a bit skeptical as it wasn’t an insignificant amount of money that we were paying to hire her. I thought to myself — come on its just one day! BEST MONEY EVER SPENT. Don’t doubt it. Not only is Alyssa totally personable and fun, but she just handles sh*t. No matter the issue she gets it done and makes sure that you don’t think twice. For example my bustle broke while dancing. I noticed it and started to walk off the dance floor. I hadn’t made it two steps when Alyssa was by my side. «Give me 2 min, «she said. Before I knew it she was back by my side fixing the dress and 1 min later I was back on the dance floor and didn’t think about it again. There are countless examples like this. She is not just a fixer of problems though. She helps you think through things ahead of time and puts you at ease and keeps you organized. She also feels like a part of the family. My entire family and wedding party all raved about Alyssa. I can’t endorse her or Lowe House Events enough.

Elizabeth did the day of coordinator for my daughter’s wedding and it went perfectly! She took charge of everything, everyone was happy and the event was flawless. When some little thing went wrong she fixed it immediately.

Elizabeth helped my wife and I plan a beautiful wedding event. From the ceremony to the side tables, everything was carefully planned and professionally managed. They day-​of results were wonderfully memorable.
As a groom I found terrific value in the service Elizabeth provided. Her consultations with my bride and me guided us through the ins and outs of our extensive preparation. She offered terrific assistance and a comprehensive knowledge of the process.
While Elizabeth excelled as a planner it was her presence at the ceremony that made the ultimate difference. We were fortunate to have her on-​hand to manage the inevitable wrinkles. I cannot imagine holding a successful wedding event without Elizabeth’s invaluable assistance.

I didn’t hire Elizabeth but I am still compelled to write a review because, when I was considering hiring a day-​of coordinator for my wedding, she was, after all my research, by far the best person for the job. She met with my mom and me to discuss the job and was patient, informative, organized, professional, and friendly. She did not rush our meeting or pressure us to hire her. She was honest and upfront about what her role at the wedding would be. In the end, we chose a caterer who said she would help run the wedding day, but with a bigger budget we would have definitely hired Elizabeth.

I cannot possibly say enough about Elizabeth and how wonderful she is! I had planned to manage the whole shebang myself and about 2 months out it occurred to me that would mean I would spend most of the day working out logistics. Which meant my Mom would be a wreck and I would be a basketcase. Enter Elizabeth and everything changed. I literally watched the stress slide off Mom’s shoulders!
Elizabeth says she’ll do just about anything to make your wedding work. I’m quite sure that’s the case because I remember only a perfect, joyous day. I really have no clue what she was tasked with or which hurdles she had to gracefully overcome. NO CLUE AT ALL. Because she’s awesome and took care of everything, as promised.
I hired her as a day-​of-​coordinator and the only thing I would ever change is to have hired her for full planning, from day 1. I kick myself a bit just thinking of all the stress I could’ve avoided!
Elizabeth even helped us find a photographer at the last minute (4 weeks out) because our family pro had to bail. Like I said, I cannot say enough about how amazing Elizabeth is. I am still so grateful to have had her on our team.

Elizabeth planned and coordinated my June 2011 wedding and my expectations were not only fulfilled, they were exceeded! Elizabeth was with us through every step of the planning process and on the day of the wedding, I was perfectly comfortable leaving everything in here capable hands. She is extremely knowledgeable and well-​connected, which meant she was great at presenting us with lots of options and with helping us find vendors (like our wonderful videographer who we hired about 4 week prior to the wedding!).
The wedding day was perfect — everything was exactly what I wanted, but also so much more. I really appreciated having Elizabeth there to run the event, which meant that I was free to focus on the pure joy of the moment. Elizabeth is now my go-​to-​event planner and I will certainly utilize her expertise again.

We had lots of creative ideas for our wedding, but no married friends with experience in the matter to bounce things off of. Elizabeth turned out to be the perfect ally because of her combination of experience with not just wedding planning, but event coordination and interior design. She talked us through a lot of decisions and helped focus us on creating a perfect small, handmade, artsy affair.
And for day-​of coordination, I frankly don’t know what we would have done without her. I remember anxiously watching tables get set up as I was getting ready upstairs, it was clear things were not going as planned… until Elizabeth showed up, took charge, got it done, and no-​one knew the difference by the time the ceremony started.
