We worked with Kelly for our specially themed wedding and it was a huge success thanks to Kelly’s amazing work throughout the day and leading up to it. She has a lot of experience with event planning and thinks of so many details that make the event extra special. She listened to our needs and gave incredible recommendations for decorations, photographers, rentals, extra servers and so much more. She made herself available by phone/text/email/face-to-face for all our concerns and questions. While there was a lot of work leading up to the event, she handled the day with such ease and professionalism. She goes above and beyond the call of duty, even dressing up in character for our historically-themed party. She is a wonderful person to work with, and I could not recommend her highly enough for any future event planning.

I am so glad that I hired Kelly to be the day of coordinator for my wedding day. I contacted a few people about my date, and was hesitant to hire anyone because my venue would have an event captain and I wasn’t sure that another person would be necessary. Ultimately, I hired Kelly because of her easy going and understanding demeanor on the phone, plus her cost that worked well with our budget. I am so glad I did, because even though the support team from our venue was wonderful, Kelly added a tremendous, invaluable set of skills and assistance as we approached our big day. Leading up to the wedding, she helped contact unresponsive vendors, organized our timeline for rehearsal and day of, simply checked in on how I was doing and feeling, and more. Plus, her actual day-of services were so helpful, from getting 200 people where they needed to be and queuing all our events, to making last minute calls, setting up décor, and constantly filling my champagne flute. Hiring Kelly was such a good decision and I would make the same decision over and over. A day-of coordinator is a MUST on your big day and Kelly is the perfect person for the job!

Kelly Dawson is the perfect blend of highly organized and yet very chill. I was hesitant to hire someone to help organize my wedding because 1.) I thought the person would probably annoy me by being overly enthusiastic and 2.) I am picky about details and 3.) we were on such a small budget. Marche51 was worth every penny! Kelly was completely awesome and handled all the details with excellence and warmth. It is because of Kelly that I was able to actually enjoy my wedding, rather than being stressed out by managing the details myself! With less than 4 months to help us coordinate a wedding for over 100 guests on a really small budget, Kelly listened and gave us excellently tailored advice at each step. She was a vital part of the decision making process because of her experience — she thought of so many things we never would have thought of and gave excellent solutions. She helped organize in advance with a few super easy-to-use documents. In the weeks before the wedding, she handled all the vendors so we didn’t have to. My main advice is to hire Kelly before you pick your venue — she probably has good advice on that! We didn’t meet Sadie until the set up/rehearsal day but she was also excellent. I thought she was going to be taking orders from Kelly all day, but she actually took a lot of initiative. Whenever I thought of something that needed to be done, I mentioned it to her and she had great ideas for getting things done. Both Kelly and Sadie are very creative, kind, and effective people! If I ever get married again, I’d definitely go with Marche51!(wink)

I cannot say enough good things about Kelly Dawson/Marche51 Events. Kelly was our day-of coordinator for our August wedding on Treasure Island, and she made herself available multiple times before the wedding to help us plan, as well as many emails/phone calls as we needed. She is friendly, professional, courteous, and thorough — everything you need in a coordinator. She brought an amazing knowledge base to the table, thinking of details that never would have occurred to us otherwise. The center of the planning revolved around a detailed, comprehensive timeline that Kelly created, one that encapsulated all of the details surrounding the wedding. We constantly referred to this timeline, both for planning and on the day of the wedding, and it made a huge difference. As a result, the logistics surrounding the wedding — including setup and the event itself — were flawless. The venue was set up perfectly, as directed by Kelly while myself and the rest of the wedding party were getting ready. And as the wedding itself unfolded, we were totally free of stress as Kelly worked with the venue staff to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!

Marche 51 is a wonderful even planning and catering service that did a wonderful job with my sister’s Bridal Shower. They normally work in the Greater Bay Area, but were willing to work with us in the Sacramento area. They were extremely professional and met all of our expectations. Given that I was a new mother, I was a little stressed out about how to put together a shower that would meet my sister’s expectations. She, to say the least, is a very detail oriented person and anything less than perfection would have most likely put a heavy strain on our relationship. Marche 51 came to our(my other sister and my) rescue! It was as though they knew everything we needed before we even asked. They were gracious, professional and always on top of everything from choosing the menu, helping to create the cake topper, creating the sustainable centerpieces, suggestions for music, helping to complete the favors, mailing the invites and so much more! This was just the planning part, I have been to events that they have catered and their food is DELICIOUS! Last but not least, because I am a new mother, we were working on a very specific budget and they were able to help us keep within that budget. Their services were well worth the price we paid, considering what others charge for essentially hand holding us through this whole process. They helped to bring wonderful memories to my sister at a reasonable price and I am forever grateful!
