Established in 2013.

Founder, La Wanda Knox started Make Green Go after the Occupy Oakland Movement that errupted in the city. She recognized the need for change, job creation, economic equality and access to capital. As a result she formed Make Green Go to provide business planning assistance, business development and one-​on-​one consulting services to local businesses in the Bay Area.

Business Owner

La Wanda has 10 years of experience in business operations. As a Business Consultant at 7-​Eleven, Inc. for 5 years, she consulted various franchisees in the Greater Bay Area. Her role at 7-​Eleven focused on improving the quality and image of franchised stores while improving sales and performance.

She received her MBA at Mills College, Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business in 2010. Since then, she has been dedicated to sharing her skills, knowledge and abilities by teaching business plan writing workshops at the Oakland African-​American Chamber of Commerce & MeetGeraldine Marketing Firm.

La Wanda has successfully turned-​around underperforming businesses including, Rosenblum Cellars in Alameda. In 2013, she started Make Green Go, a boutique consulting firm in Jack London’s Warehouse District and Co-​Founded Portside Community Market Cooperative Grocery Store.

La Wanda is an avid Entrepreneur, Leader, Wife and expecting their first child in the Fall of 2014!
