I have been getting waxed by Missy for over two years now and I couldn’t be happier with the services and the friendship! She knows what she is doing and makes the experience enjoyable! Missy did my makeup for a vintage-​inspired pinup shoot — it looked amazing and she was so easy to work with! I really appreciated that she asked for my feedback and thoughts on what she was doing; my makeup complemented the theme the photographer requested, but it also reflected my personal style and made me feel gorgeous. It was a great experience!

The best bikini waxer in the Bay Area. I’ve had so many terrible wax experiences and what a relief it’s been to find a waxer who you don’t dread seeing. In fact, Missy is so awesome it feels like I am catching up with an old friend so I actually look forward to my appointments.

Missy is an amazing make up artist! Recently, she had done my make up for a vintage photo shoot and needed no direction with creating my perfect, natural look to match with my costume. She is very down to earth, easy to talk to, and immediately makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. I would highly recommend her for future shoots!

I can’t say enough good things about Missy and her level of expertise and professionalism of all things skin. She’s been my gal for the past three years, and I have been following around her around like a puppy dog after first meeting her at Skin and Tonic on Grand Ave. My skin always feels fresh and baby-​soft after a facial or a waxing. Recently, I had her to do my make-​up for a photo shoot and I felt so pretty! Nothing over the top, just the best version of myself. AND her new space in Oakland is just a little bit of heaven. It’s a little further down on Grand, so parking is not a problem. It’s located right above this funky vintage beauty salon. Very zen-​like. Missy will chat you up like an old friend, but give you space and quiet if you need it. You always leave feeling fabulous!

Missy is THE BEST. Hands down. End of story. I’ve been seeing her for about 2 years (maybe longer?!) and I would never trust my skin to anyone else. Waxing is waxing, but Missy’s technique is about as pain free as it gets. Her incredible skills with brow design have opened up my face in a whole new way, and I’ve never had any adverse skin reactions with her work. In fact, my skin is so luminous and radiant after every facial that I almost always get a compliment from strangers. No joke, she rocks my world. She’ll rock yours too. All hail the queen!!!
