What can I say I usually stop here every time I come up for a raider game so we stopped in. To see the apparel dept and as soon as we walked in we were greeted multiple times super nice dealership greeted by sales Staff, apparel staff, Kyle helped me out very friendly and helpful not pushy at all told him we from so cal up here for the raider game then he shows me a raider harley sweater which I thought was way cool then I picked a few more things then went to paid he let me know the ongoing promotions and I took advantage of those and we were off… Overall great experience I wish al Harley Davidson dealer staff was like this shop! Oh btw free Christmas present wrapping as well!

They are so helpfull in any way and they really like to talk about bikes at all times.
I have talked with some of the technicians to sales to rent, they were so helpfull in any ways and were kind eneough to give me ride back after I am finished.
Hospitality is amazing and no matter you buy or not you dont feel like pushed into something. You come inside, look at the bikes, try jackets and more and nobody comes and pushes you for purchase.
I loved the time I passed there. Definetly visit again.

Used to come here often but go to San Jose now. Service sucks… I usually have to wait 10−15min for somebody to help me with parts.

VERY difficult to work with!!! A buddy warned me and he’d bought there a few years ago.
WEnt in to get a non-​Harley that was a trade in. The bike was cheap and the sales guy had no room to move so I was OK with the price… he’ was a bit dodgy as well btw, but whatever, he’s a sales guy.
Finance wanted to hold my check for 10 days!!! Is it still the 1980’s? I said hold the bike til it clears but 10 days is unacceptable. I was informed it was their policy for personal checks, I replied it wasn’t a personal check, its guaranteed through my investment account (at a well known investment bank.)
So, it would seem I could afford the 4k for the bike. At Toyota we wrote the check for a car and my wife drove home.
I was treated like an idiot kid by a «finance dept.» That probably has a degree from college of alameda. Stressful as I had my family with me as well.
Well, I showed up the next day with cash and got my ID they neglected to return to me but told them I decided to keep looking now. Found a better bike for a bit less money!!!
No thanks OHD, I like to shop local but if I ever buy one of your overpriced bikes, I won’t get it from you. Harley Dealerships, your days are numbered if you act like this and are trying to sell 20k bikes in the coming bear market. Hopefully this will be a Triumph dealership soon.

Two years ago i had purchased a 48 harley in walnut creek, it was a fun bike but deep inside i felt that it was the wrong fit. Me being 6’5 i was to tall for that ride. Went it in the oakland Harley to see what could be done to fix my concern. This is where i meant Sean on a saturday around 4 pm. We chatted a little and decided that i would come back for some test rides the next day. That sunday, i made Sean sweat from pulling bikes out left and right, changed my mind three or four times on which bike i wanted. He stayed professional, calm and was always present during my entire visit. He clearly answered all the questions i had and i understood what i was looking for. I also met Randy in the service department, i had concerns about upgrading shocks for my new purchase. Randy went in full details about shocks brands, models and specifics that would be the best fit for my situation. I decided to get a 2015 Street Bob. It was a perfect fit. Came back a week later for a saddlebag application and Brandon was very on par with everything.
I would highly recommend the Oakland dealership for any of your harley needs.

Customer service was perfect. Present enough to have any questions answered but not so much as to feel pressured in any way. Lady in the accessory area came out from desk to assist. Great experience!

Stopped in here a few months ago while in town for a bike event. The store was on the small side. It was clean and well organized. I saw a sexy turquoise motorcycle jacket that I wanted to wear right then and there! I was a bit disappointed with e prices. They were a bit higher than other Haeley stores and I didn’t see a sale rack. Sucks!

For the Service Dept:
First off, received a post motorcycle-​service related phone call survey inquiry from CXI, apparently a survey company asking how your service was at OHD. Bad decision on my part to answer the 20 questions over the phone. Unfortunately because of the young ladies interpretation of my answers, when I went to pickup my motorcycle the next day, the service manager though I had a serious issue with the Service Department, he was concerned in an extremely professional manner. We resolved the miscommunication due to the third party questionnaires interpretation (related to a appointment cancellation, no biggie, yet seemed like a big deal when written on paper, lol)… After seeing how an interpretation over the phone could make any department on paper look so-​so/​careless of their customers, I am very happy we were able to sit in his office and review this questionnaire and clear everything up. Top notch! I appreciate the face to face talk like professionals, instead of some places in this world that would typically choose to keep a cold shoulder next time you come in, and just brush you off.
I have had absolutely AMAZING SERVICE here, prompt, attentive, professional, wonderful communication, my bike comes back beyond my expectations clean wise… I work on my own bike, and only bring my bike here for warranty related services and or swapping out a tire. I am very meticulous, and Oakland Harley’s Service Department meet and exceeds…
The service manager (I believe his name is Ryan) TOP NOTCH, and professional, too the service advisers Ive dealt with personally RUBEN, MATT, and BRANDON ALL THE BOMB DOT COM…
Thumbs up to this department, its obvious here that everyone loves their job, gets along with each other, and treats whomever comes in the door like an adult.

Fast and great service. Ruben is really good at what he does and he will keep you updated. Great customers service from all. The repairs far exceeded my expectations, I felt like I had a brand new bike by the time I got it back.
If there were more than 5 stars they would deserve them.

Very impressed with the level of customer service at this dealership. I didn’t even buy my HD Fourty-​Eight from this location, but was having some electrical issues and they went way above and beyond to help me out. They could have just defaulted to say «make a service appointment» and charge me, instead the parts guys tried to troubleshoot it with me and asked the mechanics in the back to help narrow down the issue. Turned out to be something not major, and In the end they saved me cash and time.
Very friendly staff. Was surprised to get such great service after reading some other reviews on Unilocal.Some people on here can be harsh and generalize based on one freak incident. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Okay. I wasn’t coached or strong armed into writing this by Elizabeth. I swear! maybe. Clothing and sales staff, super awesome. Elizabeth is always fun to hang out with and annoy. She’s gonna quit because of me one day o_​O
Every time I come here, everyone shows love. Not like that in certain Harley shops. When I DO get another bike, it’s definitely gonna be from here and I’m buying tons of gear there too. Hopefully Elizabeth gets the commission!

Another great day at Oakland harley-​davidson walked in everybody said hello something came up and shook my hand feels good to walk into a facility and everybody kinda knows you what to the parts department purchase some touch up paint what’s a clothing department the two beautiful young ladies help me very well help me purchase some shirts what’s up big Mike talk for a while told him thank you for everything you’ve done and left smiling Thank You Oakland Harley Davidson for making me feel like family much appreciated especially today’s day in age customer service is it were it is as it was 20 years ago Oakland Harley you’re on the right track keep it up that’s why you’re always so busy thanks again you’ll have a great 4^th of July be safe

First I only give 1 or 5 star reviews no in-​between.
So I went here Friday ⁰⁶⁄₁₉. I was expecting it to be slow because of the Warriors parade going on.
Before that I was emailing Chris from sales. At the last minute I decided to email him stating that I was going to stop by. Since it was his day off I was referred to Kalin.
Kalin is a very good salesman no doubt. Just like the rest of the reviewers here are saying. The only problem I had was their «SALES PROCESS» I came here just to get information since I was cross shopping to see if I can get the best deal. So after 2 hours they finally gave me a price. «A PRICE» No details about APR and Loan terms. Even though I told him that I already got a price, APR and loan terms from San Jose.
The next step was to come back and finalize everything. I think they are making the assumption that I will buy the bike without any test rides and go everything over with the finance guy. And somehow they will mangle the numbers to make it work. Im pretty sure I told Kalin that my main concern was PRICE, APR, and LOAN Terns. I even brought my notebook with all of my notes and prices that I was give from San Jose. I decided not to come back in fear of wasting another 2 or 3 hours for nothing.
The price quoted me was 100 dollars more than what San Jose gave.
Im a very patient guy just like Kalin, but I knew already after waiting for an hour that I had to leave. I told them after the 1^st hour that I had to be somewhere and need to be gone at 6pm. I did leave at 6pm. But what is worse is they did the «OLD DEALERSHIP» tatic of taking your License and holding on to your registration and making you stay there to physically and mentally wear you out. That sales manager sure took is sweet time to crunch all of the numbers. Knowing it was slow that day because of the parade.
I usually go to the dealership on a slow day because I know I get more done, this wasn’t the case.
They need to change their so called «SALES PROCESS» in order to «EARN MY BUSINESS.» I didn’t even get a follow up call after a few days. Since my credit application is good for 30 days I will be back but one thing that is important to me is my time. I don’t want to waste any of their time and I surely do not want them to waste my time either. The sales manager will need to work a little faster next time.
That last time I was treated like this was when I was at a CAR DEALERSHIP. Which I hate with a passion. When I get that feeling that I am stuck and have nowhere to go my patience runs very thin.
So when I do come back, they have all of my information, they will need to work very fast or I will disappear and leave.

The Epitome of Customer Service! I live in Houston, TX and wanted to order shirts for my friend, who also lives in Houston, but from Oakland/​Vallejo. I called the store and asked for assistance, the ladies there went above and beyond my expectations. I gave them my requirements and cell phone number, they took the time to pick and text to me pictures for my choosing. Once I chose and paid, my items were shipped and received just in time for Christmas.
I also did the same for Father’s day and am awaiting my shipment!

Visiting the Harley dealer is a must wherever we go out of town, we like checking out the bikes, the gear, the décor, and especially the sales if they have them. Compared to all the dealerships I have visited, this one was just ok for me. Not too thrilled but not totally bummed either. Most dealerships are super friendly to out of town folks, these people were lets just say lukewarm. No particular décor to the place to bring out its uniqueness like most dealers do, and it’s really not that big. They had some really cute stuff, but the other downfall is that they were way overpriced than most and no good sale racks, PASS!!!

On our Anniversary vacation to San Fransisco my husband of course WANTED to hit EVERY dealership in the area. He finally chose OHD.
Being from Minnesota, we did not know the area at all. Eventually after taking trains, buses, trams… and I was beginning to think a plane… We made it.
Our visit to the store was a great experience. We drooled, we shopped… finding out a little more about accessories for our 2015 Ultra Limited.
Of course by now… RAUL has heard about our trek to get there. All for a sweatshirt ~insert wife eye roll~ As we were leaving, Raul said he had arranged a return ride to the BART station for us.
Now to us Minnesota «nice» people to find that kind of customer service in OAKLAND… yeah, Raul rocks.
Give this place your business and you won’t regret it.

Awesome store to visit ! Lots of bikes and styles to choose from. Very clean ! Bikes are priced, no pushy salesman. Mike knew were not there to buy but he still talked with us and educated us about motorcycle ergonomics, which was very helpful as I am short. He also talked about what modifications can be made to make a bike fit and be safe. They have really affordable bikes. If I lived in the area would definitely visit this place when I was serious about purchasing.

Well… After hearing so much negativity n horror stories about Harley Dealers in general I can tell you that Oakland is NOT one of them…
Purchased a brand new Street Glide a few weeks ago and the next day it devolved an oil leak from an O-​ring at speedo sensor… Took it in on a Sat and they comped me a Rental and had it fixed by Sunday night… Of course all at no charge… Very Service and customer oriented dealer :)
So if your in the Market for a new Harley., go see «Sweets» n tell Em, White Chocolate sent you

Yesterday, 11÷15÷14, I called the parts department asking if they had a pair of Pad Pins which is a fastener on the rear caliper. They said yes, come on down. I arrived about 45 minutes later to buy the pair of pins but when Jason, the Parts Manager, went to get them, he returned and said someone opened the plastic bag and took one out.
I needed the pair, one really bad because I was on a time crunch to get my son’s bike back on the road. Jason suggested I go to Harley Davidson in Livermore. Livermore was about an hour away so I said no, I’d rather buy just the one he had in his hand and he can order in another pair next week. Jason looked puzzled and said he can’t break up the pair.
I told Jason what he had in his hand was already a «broken pair» and he had a cash buyer standing right in front of him willing to buy the «broken pair.» Jason said they are only sold in pairs for about $ 7.00. I told Jason I could buy the $ 7.00 pair, he could give me the one he had in his hand and I could get my son’s bike on the road. Then he could order in a new pair next week and as soon as it arrived in his shop, he could remove one of two pins and I could pick it up next week.
Jason said he could not do that because he would then wind up with a «broke pair.» I said, «exactly. .. that’s the same as what you have in your hand right now.»
Jason was as nice as can be, but he was just not willing to sell me the one pin and reorder another pair. Really, I’m not making this up. .. it’s not rocket science.
I’m now very frustrated and told Jason I’ve bought three brand new Harley’s here, paid cash, spending a bit north of $ 60,000.00 adding I’ve also spent a boatload of cash over the years on parts, clothing and service.
I told Jason that I spend a considerable amount at Christmas for gifts for my family. I have a wife, 5 kids, 13 grandkids and 2 great grandkids who all love to get Harley stuff for Christmas. .. and now we’re having a discussion over a $ 7.00 pin? This just doesn’t make sense to me.
I was so frustrated, I told Jason to just sell me the one pin for the full price of 2 pins, don’t bother to order any more for me and I’ll be on my way. Jason sold me the pin for $ 7.00, I paid cash, gave Jason back the cash receipt telling Jason, I’ll never be back. .. There’s a Harley shop in Pacheo that’s about the same distance from my house so I’ll shift my loyalty and dollars to Pacheo. I told Jason I now have a story to tell all my motorcycle friends and equally important, post his very poor decision on Unilocal.
Mike, I only hope you can see how a poor $ 7.00 decision on Jason’s part can cost your store a very high-​end customer. My wife owns her own Softail, my one son has a Road Glide, my other son has a Switchback and I have an Ultra Classic. Lots of dollars shifting to Pacheo.
To Jason’s credit, he was super nice and very professional during the entire transaction.. . this, in my opinion was a nice person making a bad decision.
