Philly’s Cheesesteak & More

Only customer. Asked for cheese whiz and got Swiss cheese. Not a philly! Never going back! Called to tell about incorrect order and lady hung up on me. Went in and took sandwich back then made me wait for refund.

Great cheesesteaks! Nice they use a soft roll (rather than french with a hard crust) which is true Philly cheesesteak. Delivery was quick, too. After ordering, arrived in just under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

It was my first time here and it’s the bomb. Great costumer service! We’ll be back soon!

BBQ cheesesteak was mighty good. Bbq sauce has a good flavor. I also got the chicken wings. The wings were juicy and not dry.
I also ordered delivery thru grub hub. The food arrived hot, which is a plus. If I’m ever back in the Oakland area I will definitely return again.

just had the crab ragoons and the stuffed mushrooms… omg!!! they are so good and delivered hot… we also tried the chili dog and fries … delicious!!! this is the place to get good food and friendly service…

Very good and very fast delivery! The extra meat portion is very generous. Word to the wise, if you order the deluxe, know it has a lot of jalapeños and is very HOT!!! Had to wait to eat my second half because my mouth was on fire. Didn’t know they were included on it! Other than that, the Phillies, garlic fries, and curly fries are good!

This place is fairly new and when I heard they make vegetarian philly cheese steaks. I am there! My friends had their regular philly cheese steaks and everyone loved their food. The bread was soft and whatever sauce they’re using… It’s the bomb! Must try! And I’ll be back!

Solid cheesesteaks and lots of different kinds to choose from. Prices are fair, not great. A typical cheesesteak and fries will cost you about $ 10 with tax. I asked for fries extra crispy and got limp ones anyway, but other than that it was pretty good. Friendly and fast service, but I was the only one there when I went. $ 5 Wednesdays saves you about a $ 1.50.

I’ve ordered twice from this place. I really like their Philly cheese steak sandwiches and their cheese fries. The best thing about this place is their fast delivery and food quality.

Delicious! Ordered from the Eat24 app at 5:16 PM and the order arrived 13 minutes later! It’s only a little more than a mile away, but still…
Although home alone, I ordered two sandwiches — Deluxe Beef Philly & Philly Chicken with Peppers — and an order of «Stuffed Mushrooms» to meet the minimum. Happy to enjoy the leftovers for tomorrow lunch!
The sandwiches were both very good; an appropriate amount of meat and vegetables piled high on fresh French-​style rolls. My only quibble would be the rolls: they were very soft, as in Wonder bread soft I know many people like this style but for me they don’t really add anything to the overall sandwich. But, they didn’t detract either. I would pay extra for a roll with a little more character.
The «Stuffed Mushrooms» are in quotes because they’re not stuffed. With anything. They’re just fried mushrooms. However… they were possibly the best fried mushrooms I’ve ever had. They were very large, perfectly fried/​coated and extremely juicy when I bit into them. I also received a side of ranch dressing which I did not ask for and did not know how much I needed until I tried it. Good stuff!
All in all a really good value with excellent and quick delivery. I will not hesitate to order from this restaurant again.

Philly’s interior is cleaner than it was when it was a taqueria years ago. presently, just a few tables for seating.
menu: cheesteaks (many versions, of sorts), fries, chinese food, chicken tenders, etc.
eats: regular cheesesteak (6.95)
–lettuce. cheese, tomato, sliced beef, white cheesy melted stuff in a hoagy? bun.
mostly lettuce, entrée was hot. not a philly though, these ingredients are extra.
–seems pricey. what isn’t these days. everything tasted fresh…
