History
Established in 1986.
Phnom Penh House opened in 1986 when our family was given political asylum after surviving the Khmer Rouge torment in Cambodia. Seeking a fulfilling life and a promising start in our new country, each member of our family put what we had together and opened our first business, a Cambodian restaurant in Oakland Chinatown.
