From initial design sketches and architectural drawings to general contracting and custom millwork, we work closely with our clients helping them through the process of their remodel or new construction.

We specialize in remodeling homes and have extensive experience designing and building kitchens, baths, and full-​scale remodels. With our west Oakland woodshop, we offer custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture.

We can serve as the general contractor or as your cabinet maker.

Business Owner

Tom has a Ph.D. and M.A. in history specializing in California architecture and aesthetics from the University of Southern California as well as years of building and design experience. He writes on California architecture and has taught at UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, and Sonoma State University.
