Quick and easy, we walked in with our 1994 dodge Dakota and the sea was done and the beast was passed within about 30 minutes total. Because our truck is pre-​1994 it did run is just over $ 70 with the extra tests, overall, we will continue to come here, friendly, convenient and supports a local business within my neighborhood

Fast and cheap! There was only a five minute wait to get started since there was someone else there. My car is on the older side (pre-​2000) and I’ve heard they take longer but I was out within 10 to 15 minutes. Plus the guys there are super nice and accomodating while you’re waiting for your car. Will def come back here next time.

This place was very professional, and the mechanic seemed trained and very polite. If I had a difficult vehicle, this would be a good place to take it. However, I was not able to get any sort of Unilocal discount because I have a diesel. If you want to pay +$ 50, this is your spot.

I live 2 blocks away and was a bit confused with the price. From all the reviews it says this place is the cheapest, but Im not sure if $ 50 is what they mean? I called and wanted to book the service but was caught off guard when he told me it was $ 50! I am holding off on coming because I have been to the place that’s on Broadway and only paid $ 29. I might just have to go back there.

Beat my 2011 smog review price by a mile. No hidden cost: $ 28 and change including certificate. Seriously checked the price of at least 10 local competitors — cheapest in Oakland and surrounding area (Berkeley, San Leandro, Hayward, etc.).
Look no further. Best place in town.

Quick and easy. The guys were easy to talk to and friendly. Just show your check in to get the discount deal. Was able to sit and watch while they checked my car, and got everything I needed. Keeping my car in good standing for the DMV and making online renewal easy for me.

So just took my car to see Danny. Awesome experience and he’s a genuine guy you can tell off the bat! Prices are very reasonable too. He is very knowledgable about cars and uses the news system to check for smog! Super fast and easy. Recommend this place for sure!

Very friendly and fast. The guy squeezed me in at the end of the day even though it was an out of state vehicle, which apparently takes longer and is more expensive. He stayed late to do my car and I would go back here.

I just recently moved to Oakland so I literally didn’t know where would be a good place to go for a smog check. My new co-​worker recommended me this place. I’m actually glad that I have it a try because the service was cheap and fast!!! I went in and out within 15 mins. I would come back to this friendly environment then I need a smog again!

I procrastinated on getting my smog check, and next thing you know, it’s due in a couple days. Found this little gem on Unilocal and decided to take a chance, especially since they are close by and able to provide service immediately. Great customer service, barely had to wait, and the price was great. I love when I can just pop in somewhere and get what I need done without having to wait endlessly. The owner was really knowledgable and friendly. We have some work we’ll need to do eventually on our car, so we’ll definitely be back!

I have been using the services at this auto shop the past 5 years. The owner, phong who’s extremely nice and helpful when it comes down to any question r egarding my car. Smog check service here is fast!!! More important to me is the personal and attentive service that I received from phong each time. I h igh reccomend this place to everyone!
