Established in 2009.

Sweet Cheeks Skincare is a a real world story of a woman following through on her dreams via hard work, dedication, and perserverence, and proving that you can achieve anything you put your mind to! In 2009, Lindsay Flint was seeing clients in her very crowded one-​bedroom apartment (while also working a full-​time spa job). Through careful saving and planning, she was finally able to open her first skincare studio in San Francisco in 2011. After 3 amazing years in SF, Sweet Cheeks recently relocated to a new posh location on Piedmont Ave in Oakland! You are invited to come enjoy the latest and greatest at the new Sweet Cheeks Skincare on Piedmont!

Lindsay F.

Business Owner

Lindsay is a 12-​year veteran of the spa industry with a resume ranging from large luxury spas at the Four Seasons Resort to small independent wellness centers like International Orange Spa and Yogaphoria Inner Health Club. Fulfilling her entrepreneurial dream, she opened Sweet Cheeks Skincare in 2011 with a focus on combining all natural products with the latest in noninvasive, effective skincare technology. Sweet Cheeks is quite literally her «happy place», with every element of the spa designed to make you feel pretty from the inside out.

Lindsay is the creator and administrator of the Esthetician Think Tank, an online Esthetics forum with over 4,000 professional members and growing. She regularly attends seminars and classes to stay on the cutting edge of the industry. She earned her Esthetics License through the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Holistic Health from SFSU and a Master’s of Entrepreneurship from WCU.

Sweet cheeks is an adorable little oasis! I had my first treatment with Christy and it was like a dream. I felt so pampered and taken care of. Normally I leave facials red and irritated as i have sensitive reactive skin, but after all of the wonderful products and machines I left with the most amazing glow! Highly recommend!

I came in to see Lindsay for a new client facial to get my skin glowing for my wedding. She did an outstanding job — probably one of the best facials I have ever gotten. Its expensive, but definitely worth it for a special occasion. The space is soothing, clean and lovely, and she is very personable and well educated in skin care. I highly recommend sweet cheeks skin care!

FINALLY! I had been searching for a good place to get my lady bits and bobs waxed in the Oakland/​Berkeley area and was consistently disappointed. I had a great gal in Davis but when I moved to this area I kept spending a lot of money for poorly done jobs that resulted in lots of stray missed hairs or in-​growns. Lindsay is fantastic. She takes her time, is incredibly personable and goes that extra mile to make sure you get a complete job. Plus it helps that the location feels more like a spa and less clinical than some other spots I’ve been to.

I had, hands down, the best facial ever with Christy ! She is super knowledgeable, attentive and her massage technique made me feel, not only pampered, but my skin was glowing after her treatments. I see Lindsey for eyebrow and lip waxing. She does an awesome job. The location is peaceful and relaxed, and I’ve never had to wait when I’ve made an appointment.
When I started seeing her, my eyebrows were thin and misshapen. She recommended a product that helped them grow back and her waxing has got them looking stellar. I’m so grateful, thanks Lindsey!

Sweet Cheeks Skincare is everything the name says and then some. I made one appointment for a brow wax with Lindsey and was hooked so I made an appointment for a brow wax and facial. My appointment was with Christy and I have to say: I received the BEST experience I have EVER had. I am a personal services junkie. All my ‘extra’ money goes into personal services and supporting charity.
I’m not sure if it was just me, my mood or Christy’s amazing insight, however I truly am
floored by the service. Not only did I receive a facial, I got an arm and hand massage… scalp massage, back massage… I highly recommend that if you appreciate the finer things in life hurry and book an appointment; they sell out fast!

After a long work week; root canal included! I was in the market for some much needed TLC! I was referred to Christy at Sweet Cheeks for a facial service. WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! Located in a convenient spot, with a parking lot just around the corner, made parking much easier. Met Lindsey for the first time for a bikini wax. Besides her warm personality, she is also an educator on do’s and don’ts of waxing. The biggest revelation I had was that I have been torturing myself for many years by going to people who use poor wax and poor technique. I was anticipating a painful experience. I pre-​medicated with Tylenol. However, usually with pre-​med, it’s still a bit of a painful time where I’m sweating with anxiety or I have to stop by a certain time. This has been even with those who use a hard wax. Lindsey used both soft and hard wax, but the type she used had minimal discomfort. Will definitely be back as a client and also am interested in a facial in the future.

I just had a wonderful facial with Lindsay and highly recommend her. She clearly knows what she is doing and sounded like a chemist when she spoke about what my skin needed and what type of products she was using. But, she did not try and sell me product, which I found refreshing– in fact, I had to keep asking her what she was using because it all smelled so good! I look forward to trying the sample products and am excited about using skin care recommended by a professional who has seen my skin up close. I loved the space– very clean, bright and soothing without being pretentious– just like Lindsay!

LINDSAY IS AMAZING! I hardly ever write reviews but this woman deserves all the praise in the world. I was lucky enough to find her when I moved from New York a few months ago and don’t ever want to get a Brazilian anywhere else by anyone else. She’s patient, kind, attentive, respectful and most importantly very good at waxing. I was finishing up my accutane treatment when I had my first appointment with her. She took extra time to ensure everything went smoothly and made me feel very comfortable. I’ve spent quite a bit on brazilians at various salons in New York and none of them compare to the quality of Lindsay’s work and her comforting, warm space.

Lindsay is wonderful! I hadn’t ever received a facial before because I thought my skin was too sensitive. Turns out facials are great for my skin! Lindsay gave me the most nourishing treatment and my skin thanks her! The therapies and skincare products she uses are top quality. I fell asleep during the light therapy and it must have been extremely restorative because I felt amazing even days afterwards. I will definitely be returning for regular facials.

I have been seeing Lindsay at Sweet Cheeks for over two years, and wow, can that lady work some miracles. I have skin that can’t make up its mind as to which problem it would like to be – dry? No, no, breakout-​prone. Wait, PSYCH! How about sun-​damaged and flaky? Fine lines? Hormonal hyper-​pigmentation? HALP ME!
Lindsay has seen it all, knows what I need, and carries the BEST organic, small-​batch and results-​oriented skincare lines, like Arcona and Sircuit Cosmeceuticals. Folks, this is what the big pricey spas carry, so she means business.
Plus a zillion for the lovely beach house ambiance she has created, and the sweet golden retriever that hangs out with her on the redwood deck – If you’re lucky, you’ll meet him, too!
