T Rav’s BBQ Lab

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, T Rav grills up hot dogs and burgers outside the Sphinx Café from 10:00 PM to 3:30 AM to cater to the late night crowd. I always see a giant line waiting for his tasty concoctions when I’m at Mad Mex, so last night I decided to finally try out his food between Big Azz Margaritas since we had to wait for a table anyways.
All his food is topped with his delicious house made special BBQ sauce. He dips his grilled hot dogs in the bbq sauce before sticking it squishy hot dog buns. He tops his burgers with a generous portion of the same tasty sauce before serving it up to you. I found myself licking sauce off the parchment paper he uses to serve up the food when I was done.
Hot dogs are 1 for $ 2 or 2 for $ 3 while burgers are 1 for $ 3 or 2 for $ 5 with 50 cents for cheese. If you want, he also sells his sauce by the jar for $ 5.
He also has pulled pork as well, but I didn’t get a chance to try it.
With dirt cheap grilled dogs and burgers topped with his incredible bbq sauce, T Rav’s got me hooked and I have to say sorry to both the O and McDonald’s, but you guys have been replaced.
