Carmen is a great stylist and barber. She is attentive to detail and will get your hair right. She gets it. She is super friendly. Absolutely worth it. Her shop is located across from the breakwater brewery. Not a high traffic area, slightly off the beaten path – a well kept secret. The best time to go is during the week day.

Bad cut that I had to shave my head and there is employees there with out a licensed to work so this is a unprofessional business that waste your money!!!

Great staff and owner. I usually see Carmen, but all of her employees are very talented and cut lots of hair. Marine heavy based clientele so they are experts are short hair. Finally went in and buzzed my head. She did a nice face from 2 to a 3 and trimmed around the edges. Price is right and I always leave a couple extra bucks for a tip. I’ve been there about 4 times in the last couple months and will be back. Get there early because sometimes there is a line at 9:30am.

great place. they actually take time and cut your hair not like most of these places in oceanside. not a bad price either. so I would recommend it to every one if you want a quality hair cut.

A well done cut for my man. We were hoping for a cut for my 1 year old son as well but the only one that was willing to do a kids cut was the owner. She was providing good customer service and what looked like a quality cut (taking her time perfecting the straight razor fade she was doing) and I didn’t want to wait it out so we left. Overall a good, clean, well-​run shop with what looked like talented barbers.

If you need a last minute haircut, this is the place to be. For 12 dollars, she can get you a military cut. It’s cheap and fast. You can trust her with your haircut. — my husband.

I. Have been. Going there for a haircut for over two years now and always. Get excellent service and cut. At. A very fair price. I’ve been to other barbers in. The downtown area but Carmen’s has more like a home town feeling and I’m going to keep going back.

I been going to this barbershop for a few years and I must say Carmen is by far the best barber I’ve had. She’s very nice and kind to her customers and best part of all she’s has a very flexible schedule. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable :). I highly recommend her to all males and females. She can do it all.

Okay, so my husband had been going to Carmen’s for a long time. And they are great but they are a little far from us…
Oh, and they only accept cash, but have an ATM inside. ($ 9 – 11) But they will also provide sodas and water for their customers free of charge.
