She did an amazing job on my color and press. She also did a very needed protein treatment and trim my first visit with her. I went back to her so I was very satisfied. She was quick and very professional. She answered all of my hair questions intelligently. I can honestly say I trust her to do whatever she feels is necessary to keep my hair healthy. Every time she is done I am shocked at how she makes my hair look like someone else’s lol. Amazing job machala. Thank you!

I have several artists that I depend on for taming my tresses. This, because I get too bored sticking with one style. I have an awesome Braider, weaveologist:) natural hair care artist, etc.
What I love about Machala is she’s good at everything I’ve asked her to do. And, she’s super flexible, reasonable, and friendly. What stylist do you know that will just about work you in when you need her AND not keep you in the shop ALL day? Well, Machala is the answer.
I highly recommend giving Machala a call to tame your tresses.

I haven’t had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Machala but I have gotten it done by Tavia. IT has been QUITE SOME TIME since I’ve gotten my hair done so the whole experience was a plus from the get go lol. I am currently transitioning and my regular hair dresser was sick.
I got a wash, deep condition trim and press; that was Saturday. Here it is Monday and my press is still holding up pretty well and my trim didn’t turn into a CUT. I haven’t abandoned my regular hair dresser, but I’ve booked my next appt with Tavia :)
It’s been a while since I’ve really been in a «hair shop» and I’ve missed it!

I LOVE MACHALA! For so long I wanted to cut my hair and I found Machala on Facebook she was very nice and gave me the exact cut I wanted but waaaaay better. Her prices are excellent and she is very fun to be around. I 100% recommend her!

I have been getting my hair managed by Machala since last year, and I must say I hope she never leaves the city! She does EXCELLANT work! This woman has such a deep passion for the work she does and it reflects on her high amount of clientele. I would recommend anyone to her. She is reasonable with prices, very resourceful, kind hearted, and well seasoned in her craft. I have never left disappointed, I have always been pleased with her work. I have patients at my job who look forward to see how my hair will look the next time! To find a stylist such as she, is like finding a hidden gem.
