I cannot give enough praise to Orlando. That guy is a rockstar. He helped me out with a dash kit and a new deck for my Honda Accord. Everything works flawlessly and he went through the ins and outs of my system. I cannot wait to go back for new speakers and a sub sometime soon

Benn going to digital for everything for a long time now. ‘My old deck finally gave after about 10 years went over to digital and got a new one put in at a great price. They are extremely professional and they know everything about all they sell. It’s the only place I’ll go and have been going to for over a decade.

This place is awesome! I came in here recently to buy a stereo and have it installed on my ’05 Cadillac DeVille and wow, they did a very good job! The people were friendly, the service was very good and done in a very professional time efficient manner! On top of that, the pricing was great! They did a super amazing job! Other places were charging me more than half of what I was getting charged here for both the stereo and the installation! The minute I called and was told how much I was gonna get charged, I left the place I was currently at and came straight to this place! I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a very professional installation of stereos or systems in their Vehicles. Very cool Place!

Digital Audio has been great to me. Orlando the manager is personable and straight up. Tell him your budget and needs and he will give you the pros and cons. He has installed a touch screen receiver and a pair of front door speakers that needed to be replaced in my Chevy Tahoe. Both installs were quick and smooth. Bonus is there are a few new pubs right next to Digital Audio, plus Stone Brewery is a short walk while you kill some time.

Bought a stereo and tried to install it myself! These guys helped me out! Very friendly and professional. Had to go back to recheck my front speakers. They fixed it and now my stereo is working great! Loved the service and recommend this place to everyone who wants friendly, efficient and professional service. Anthony was great and communicated well with me on the status of my installation.

I bought a stereo on Amazon and needed it installed in my truck. I came here and got an estimate. When I went back to have it done, it was now $ 50 more. The guy told me that there would be 2 guys working on it so it would cost more. I had just worked a 60 hour week and I really just wanted this stereo installed so I went ahead and had them do it.
I bought my speakers from them, some Kenwoods that they reccomended.
About an hour or so later I walked around the back to check on the progress. There was one guy working on it. I asked him where the other guy was and was told he had to leave. No break on the install price though.
I think they did a competent job with the install except every time I close my truck door, the speaker grills pop off. Its got to be some manufacturing defect on the speakers. I little glue and I was able to fix this myself but with a «professional» install I shouldn’t have had to anything.
Other reviewers here have been very complimentary so maybe I just caught them on a bad day. I’ll be getting a new stereo for my wife’s car soon and I won’t come back to Digital Audio sound to get the work done.

Scam alert… not sure how they have good ratings, but I have not and will not do business here. I called twice about installation quotes, the first time I was told they can’t give me an estimate, but its $ 75/​hour labor…2 weeks later I called and was told it was a 5 hour job (coaxial and component speakers and low profile sub/​amp combo.). I have the amp wiring kit that I bought for $ 15 on amazon, the guy on the phone didn’t hear me say I had this kit and he told me it was $ 80 to purchase it through them… after I explained I did have it he told me the total install would be $ 230. I waited 2 weeks and called a competitor in Oceanside… they quoted me at $ 80 total for the entire install. I would not recommend anyone do business here unless you like flushing money down to toilet.

Took the truck over to DAS today to test out the iPhone 5 with the new 2013 pioneer DVD head units. I wanted to make sure my new phone worked proper with the unit so i Spent about 5 hours with Anthony & the crew trying to get the new phone to work with the head unit and app radio functions before even buying it. Once we figured out the da Vinci code that is pairing apple and pioneer together they had the head unit installed the same afternoon — clean install: flush mounted unit, all cords tucked and hidden and proper mic placement for phone calls. I’ve been coming to Digital Audio for years cuz they do good by their people. That’s why they get my business. DAS has tinted and upgraded every system in every car I’ve owned and they always get me better pricing then crutch field… and honestly I like that if I got a issue I can head to their shop and get it solved — none of that over the phone tech service. Also — while they’re installing your system or tinting your car (by the way they do some of the cleanest tint installs ive ever seen — they get it so close to to the edge it damn near looks factory) you can hit up hosies pub for the best fuckin burger in oside and chase it with frosty mugs of PBR — win fuckin win my friends!

Went in to get a cheap stereo for my commuter car… didn’t need anything too fancy just something with AUX and USB. Felt really good to not get bait and switched or upsaled. Theyre prices beat Best Buy both on the unit and install. Will go back for sure and tell others to do the same!

I will be the first to say that I’m pretty much a critical A – Hole, but these guys were top notch. I purchased a Sound-​stream Stereo off of Amazon and brought it in, from the get go, they were up front about how it might sit in my truck, the price for the pieces and so on. Instillation took about an Hour, when I got back we tested it out and for some reason it wouldn’t connect to my USB. Immediately took a look at it, and told me pretty much this is a bad radio. Usually I would be screwed out of an installation fee. Not at all. They hooked me up with a very sweet deal on a Kenwood, didn’t try to up-​sell, or get me to buy some over priced Stereo. I told them exactly what I was looking for and they hooked it up. To sum my experience up… A+. I even saw how they spoke to other customers about the legalities of Window tint in California and how they would highly recommend not going dark on the front and so forth. (Looking out for the customer, when other’s really wouldn’t give a crap.) It’s a sale.
If you’re looking for a place with good gear, good prices and guys who care about their name. This is it. I will definitely be back for another radio in my wives car.

Excellent for tint! Shopped around for a place to get my windows tinted & didnt find anywhere I wanted to give my business to. Was going to wait for a groupon, but decided to search again & found Digital Audio Sound & was so glad I did. Great service, great price and excellent tint job.

What a great place! Not only is their location good, they have a variety of products, and awesome staff. Anthony was helpful in identifying the problem I was having with my radio and got me a great deal on my new sound system. Still have to go back before summer to get my windows tinted, but these guys are hands down amazing at what they do and make the whole process of upgrading your car really easy.

First time I’ve had tint put on a vehicle. Came to these guys because a friend had his done here. The work was flawless and the prices were fair. Stopped by they got me in same day. Quick and easy. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning for sound system work in my car.

I agree with the previous statement. They came across as too cool for school boasting of 15 years of experience, blah blah blah.
All we really need are results, not accolades of being a legend in your own mind. Want to be a legend? Try running a broom through your shop, it looked like a crime scene not a business.
I asked for something they weren’t sure they could do, no problem… let’s take a look and see if it could be done they said… no problem. Plain and simple, He makes an appointment for 2pm but asks specifically if I could bring it in early. I bring it in at 1:30 and he looks at me like I just kicked his puppy. Awesome… I’ll go wait in the bar down the street for 4 hours before I get an update that they can’t figure it out. The installer and the front desk guy both blamed tech support call waiting times and another one said that it was my car that was the problem.
Sure…ok…whatever, still working with you guys… I bring it back a second day. They get it working after calling tech support YAY… then some guy calls me and leaves a message to pick it up. I call back and the guy who answers tells me, «yeah…come pick it up as soon as you can». Don’t rush me dude… not cool.
The attitude of the installer to me was demeaning and indicative that he has obviously forgotten he is in the customer service industry. Newsflash… treat your customers as if you value the money they put into your pocket. Then you don’t have pissed off people specifically not recommending your business. Also, clean up your shop… it was dirty and not very appealing.
Last but not least, I asked the front desk guy to install an update on the car to which he said no problem… at the very end, after I had paid, he said to me…“oh yeah, you wanted an update installed right? well it should be pretty easy for you to do yourself”…WOW, that was classic. I couldn’t even be mad it was so ridiculous.

Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. I hate going to places and they cram a load of BS down your throat. Professional work, I’ve had my M3 and my old land cruiser in with these guys. Both jobs were exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. I do not trust just anybody with my vehicles. My window tint on both cars still looks new after a few years. Will go back for sure!

so my husband took his infiniti g20 to get tinted today, and i must say we’ll be taking another car in to be tinted very soon… Excellent place! He was recommended to this place via best buy in oceanside the other day. They were honest, friendly, helpful and quick too (make an appointment, it helps them out). We got all 7 windows done at a VERY reasonable price after shopping around a bit. Another great thing about this place… movie theater just a couple blocks away! Go catch a movie while you wait, by the time the movie was done so was the car…
We highly recommend this place if you need a car tinted right!

Wow, horrible experience with these guys! I bought a Kenwood cd player from Digital Audio Sound and it stopped working after 6 months. Luckily the warranty was good for up to a year… so I thought.
I brought my car back and they took out my CD player and claimed that they didn’t have any of the same models in stock, so they had to send it in to the manufacturer to get a new one. I was offered the chance to upgrade to the next Kenwood model up and pay the difference ($ 20-​$ 30) but declined as I was told I would receive my new model in about 2 weeks and they would call me when it was ready.
After waiting close to month with no music or radio in my car, I finally called them to check on the status. They claimed they hadn’t heard back from Kenwood (thanks for the updates!) and would call and check in. I heard back from Digital Audio a few hrs later and was told my warranty was void due to water damage! How would my CD player in my car be water damaged? I definitely had not spilled any liquids on my cd player.
I then asked about upgrading to the next model up as was originally offered to me and was told that shouldn’t have been offered to me in the first place and that was not their policy! HA! So when they could make a few extra bucks off of my situation it was fine but otherwise it was «not their policy.»
They basically told me I am out of luck and all I have to show for my experience with Digital Audio Sound is a hole in my console where a CD player should be and $ 140 out of my pocket to pay for… that hole I guess!!! Avoid this place at all costs!

I took my 05 Prius here a few weeks ago. If you’re ever heard a Prius’ stock sound system, then you know you’re not hearing much.
But Digital replaced the amp & the door speakers and now I can actually hear some highs and lows. They said my biggest limitation was the headunit but since it can’t be replaced, they worked around it and I’m very happy with how it turned out.
The prices were a-​ok and I was very happy with the service, I got my car back really quickly.
