Dino’s was okay. I had the Mexican Shipwreck and it was just okay. Nothing special. The place was clean and friendly service. Food came out quick. My girlfriend ordered the vegetarian scramble and there was a lot of stuff but not enough egg. The amount of mushrooms and broccoli was overpowering. I definitely would like to go back though and try any of their pancakes or waffles.

Excellent sevice! The 1st thing I noticed was how clean the place looked. Our waitress was on point. I’ll come back to try more plates.

Chicken fried chicken with eggs was really good and the home fries were amazing! Steak and eggs were also very good. Service was good and we will definitely be back!

We were looking for a breakfast place in Oceanside and ran across this one. The place was empty with one other table with customers. Would have passed it by but we were short on time. The server did take our order right away. When the food arrived the eggs were ice cold, potatoes like warm, sausage was the right temp. Bacon was perfect. We didn’t get any coffee refills nor jelly for the toast. We will not return.

Had the chicken and red velvet waffle and it was fantastic. Perfectly done waffle and the chicken was breast pounded flat with light, very tasty batter. The English muffin was also toasted perfectly. The seafood Benedict was also very good as was the oatmeal with eggs and bacon. The food is much better than the long boarder ever was. Three stars because she forgot my coffee but the waitstaff was very nice.

Gem alert! This took over another diner recently. I found a groupon and off I went to one of the best made brunches I have had in awhile. For eight bucks I got the house breakfast which came with eggs, sausage or bacon and potatoes or fruit. I got the fruit and was very happy it wasn’t some underripe melon in a bowl, it was selection of sweet fruits! The sausage were big, not the greasy little ones you usually get and even the toast was good, and it was toast. Compliments to the chef, and the very attentive server we had. I read if you come BEFORE ten AM they have early bird prices. I shall return!

Service is better then when it was the Longboarder however the menu is different and not really the same breakfast/lunch beachy vibe. I really missed the old items like the soups, the turkey chili omelet, and the turkey melt! It took me a while to deicide what to have and it was only ok. And the bread was soggy and stale! I think of they want to make this place a hit they need to Go back to having a simple menu with out all the frills! Its my understanding that Cabo took over this place because they owned the building. if the owners read this please consider revamping the menu!

Stopped for a late breakfast — thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Delicious food(French toast & Mexican Shipwreck were so yummy), great service, all enjoyed outdoor on their relaxing patio. Will definitely make this a «go to» spot. #EatLocal

I ordered the build your own burrito: egg whites, turkey, tomatoes and spinach. ‘Twas delicious! Need to come back and try their waffles! It’s a short walk to the beach, too… So good eats and then a walk? Can’t beat that!

Was decently priced, service… they were nice. If I had to ping them: 1) No greetings as we entered or as we left 2) Forgot coffee, we had to ask again Otherwise ok

The food here is pretty good but the staff is just dumb. We had a 40 $ tab and gave them a 100 $ bill. Our waitress asked«do you want change?» UHHHH yeah?! Wtf! And then she brings us back just 20 $ bills as if we are going to leave a 50% tip?! Ok. You can have the change out of the bottom of my purse for that one. Super entitled

I ordered The Sailor with Mahi Mahi, scrambled eggs, and substituted the toast and potatoes for pancakes, which were the bomb! Fluffy and big. Yummy! However, the fish and eggs were bland; no seasoning whatsoever! In addition, the server had to replace the cream for my coffee twice. At first she tried to convince me that because it was heavy creamer, it was supposed to look like cottage cheese in my coffee. Umm… NOPE. Then she said it was because my coffee wasn’t hot enough… REALLY? Nevertheless, she was nice about it. If you are in the mood for $ 10 pancakes, I say go for it. I’m all about supporting small business. On the other hand, if you are on a budget, go to the nearest Denny’s or iHop or just make breakfast yourself.

Today was my 3rd trip to Dino’s in the last 6 weeks and I have to say I do not understand the poor ratings. I had a build your own omelet and my friend had the Southern Comfort and both were delicious. The food was fresh, hot and the plates were piled high. Ask your server for their freshly made green or red salsa to add to your meal as they do not disappoint. Did I mention they serve real cream with their coffee? I have met 4 servers and all have been friendly and attentive without the need for reminders. The cost is no higher than the typical joint but the quality of ingredients is a cut above IMO. I am sure I will try others but will be back here plenty often.

If I could give no stars I would! This place is not good. The menu is terrible and over priced! LONGBOARDER was great, because they had great food for great prices. Their burgers and sandwiches were untouchable, and they also had healthy options like they soy sausage patties. There is nothing great about this place. Just another over priced place that serves mediocre café food. You do not get what you pay for! Also– what kind of name is «Dino’s Breakfast and Lunch»??? Sounds like a ripoff from the beginning. COMEBACKLONGBOARDER!

Wow hmmm this place needs gordon Ramsey to pay them a visit. So this is our second visit and am writing my review as I sit here eating my food. The food is descent but the staff on the other hand RUDEAS F#$%. This is the second time and worst thing about it a completely different waitress. when asked for our order most places will give you options as to sides. I ordered Mexican shipwreck comes with corn tortillas. Once the food came I had forgot to order the corn instead of flour. I asked the waitress for flour and she rolled her eyes and walked away came back with my flour tortillas dropped them off and walked away like a pouty 5 year old. I opened my tortillas and the taste light left over tortillas from a week ago reheated. Taste stale and hard. I think this is the last chance they get for my business I am not one who likes to be treated as if its my luck they let me into this place. I’m the one with the money I’m the one paying for food and service. So if you want crappy service and to be treated you as if they are doing someone a favor to allow you to eat go eat here. I promise you won’t be disappointed

This place was a waste of money. I had the seafood Benedict, one of the muffins was burnt, the eggs were overdone, and the shrimp and lobster were rubbery. My son had the BLT, which he said was disappointing.

The hostess and waitress’ were so sweet. The smell of home fries brought us in. A simple menu that had traditional items and new healthier items that were yummy! I got the Giblet(a Turkey burger) that was SODELICIOUS! and the fries had season salt on them so we didn’t need ketchup. My husband had the BLT with avocado and we loved the food! The out door area was a little cramped and we sat a table that had a view of some man’s shoes(The inside part is up higher than the outdoor sidewalk seating). But the food was great and the girls were so friendly had wore beautiful smiles! We are having a family vacation in a couple of weeks and we plan on bringing our kids. I just hope they can fit our daughter’s wheelchair.

Clean, bright atmosphere with a touch of elegance just one block from beach and train station. Terrific outdoor patio. Catch the ocean breeze from any table. Traditional breakfast choices like omelettes, pancakes and Crepes along with new standards like Eggs Veggie Benedict, Challa French Toast with Spicy Yukon Potatoes and Red Velvet Waffles will leave you stoked and satisfied. Most dishes $ 8 – 10, seafood dishes and specialty items $ 12-$ 15.
