This is a cute little store. It has your usual shell-trinkets, t-shirts, Oceanside magnets and what-not. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of incense, candles and oils though. The whole store smells wonderful and I wanted to buy everything that smelled good! Lucky for my bank account, I didn’t. Actually, with their prices I might have been able to. Very reasonable! Cute place to pick up a knick-knack, souvenir or some smell good stuff! Thanks guys!!!

I stopped in today and bought a shell lei and Royal Hawaiian perfume. I was pleased. Later today I noticed two price stickers on the perfume box, one @ $ 20, and one @ $ 15.99; they charged me the higher value. I went back this afternoon to get an adjustment; showed the box to the sales girl who said, «It’s not our sticker, I can’t help you.» I guess they don’t care about customer relations much. I won’t be going back; going to Momilani’s Island Traditions instead.

One of the places I love to check out when ever I get to the Harbor. There stuff is of a better quality then most on the water kinda stores, but they also have kid stuff and little trinkets, but if you want something a bit nicer its the place to go. The ladies that work there are always nice and were helpful in finding a button down hawaiin shirt for my husband. Once, about 3 years ago I ran in to get a hat for a fishing trip with Helgrens and found a great woven visor, which has turn out to be my ‘Lucky” hat.

Stopped by here one day with my buddy to look for some glasses. He was looking around and started contemplating buying a pair of glasses here when the salesperson behind the counter said that he could buy them and if he decided later that he didn’t really want or didn’t like them after all then he could return them later as long as he left the tag on. …so he did… he bought them…“BIGMISTAKE”…later that day we brought them back to return, with the tag still on(maybe 2 hours had gone by). The Salesperson said«All sales are final» and that there are signs everywhere stating this and that he couldn’t return them for his money back, only an exchange. Needless to say…“This is a bad, crooked tactic to do on people”… He could not find anything else decent to get at this store, and being from out of state, he was just«out of luck»!!
SO!!! Please learn from our mistake and«Do yourselves a favor» and don’t shop here. You could actually find better stuff at a Dollar store anyway! BASICALLY, THISIS A TRINKETSHOPSURVIVINGONTHEIMPULSIVEMISTAKESOFINTRASTATECUSTOMERSON A HOLIDAYHIGH. The rest of these reviewers either work there or know people that do. Why would anyone ever 5 star a place like this to begin with?!

This place is located right on the harbor at Oceanside and is near the red striped lighthouse that is too cute. It’s nice to be able to visit the shops along this strip and then hit the beach. Hawaiian Hut is filled with your typical trinkets targeted at tourists(ooh, alliteration), but the employees here are super friendly and really nice! Plus, I came away with a super cute little pair of board shorts, so that is a bonus.
