LittleSeeds Learning Center is a state licensed and insured home day care located in Oceanside, CA. Offering care to children ages 1 through 7 years old. We provide a high quality, Eco-​friendly, and holistic child care experience that promotes each child’s unique intelligence and well being. We also believe in the importance of fostering an appreciation for people and the planet, while having loads of fun!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Hello my name is Dejourne but I go by Deja. I began working with children 4 years ago at an education center as an assistant director in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Where I met my husband of four years Keith. Right after we married we moved to Oceanside, CA where my husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. My love for working with children continued and I decided that I wanted to expand my passion for teaching children. I am currently taking several early childhood education classes at Mira Costa College. I have worked in a daycare center on Camp Pendleton Base, and I’ve had long and short-​term nanny jobs. I soon realized that all of that wasn’t enough. The idea of starting my own home daycare felt natural and exciting, and so I did just that! We don’t have children of our own but I am a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Currently I am CPR and First Aid certified, registered with the state of CA as a Family Childcare Provider, and have 12/​cont. ECE credits.
