Customer support is courteous and responsive. The doors are beautiful and it is easy to see that they are high quality. Build time was long (about 11 weeks) but this is to be expected for a custom door. Manufacture took 3 weeks longer than expected due to quality control issues. I was kept in the loop though, and would rather have a quality product than a fast product so I don’t really have a complaint here. I live out of state and so I had to find my own contractors for install, they had never installed a door like this before. According to them, the installation was straight forward and no more complicated than any other folding door system. In fact, they said it was easier because they only had to lift 1 panel at a time rather than 3 – 5 connected together at the ends. I’m not sure why others have had such issues with the install, but I suspect that they hired someone with too little experience. I purchased the signature aluminum so that may be part of the reason why. I was strongly advised against going the vinyl route by every installer I spoke to due to the tight tolerances required for an application like this.
Overall, a good experience and a quality product for the price. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a beautiful and high quality glass door product.

I was originally looking at La Cantina doors, but stumbled upon Panoramic. These doors are exactly what I had been looking for to completely open my living room on to my terrace, and without the ugly hinges that folding-​style doors have. These have the clean, streamlined look that I became accustomed to while living in Europe.
Kornel was great, knew exactly what he was doing, and a pleasure to work with. The door arrived exactly as I had specified (no, they do not have a clause saying that they can change whatever specs they want, someone completely fabricated that) and the build quality was just like in the showroom — lucky for them, as I am the kind of person who will send something back for the slightest defect or variance. The installation was very professional and we are very happy with the result. 9 months in, the door looks like new and I just ordered another for the other side of the house. I’m so relieved that I found these guys before settling for La Cantina.
Only warning is that they do not prep the door opening and they don’t do any finishing work, so you will need your GC on both ends of the install. Also, by policy (its in the contract) they do not install the seal pan, so if you need one, make sure your GC is really up to the job.

This will be the biggest mistake you ever make. We ordered $ 30,000 in panoramic doors in October 2014 with a scheduled delivery two months later of December 2014. It was a five months and 4 days later when received our doors. And that was only the start of the problems. The installer they sent out made a mess out of the install, which had to completely reworked from square one. After the doors were installed, it was determined that they were manufactured the wrong size. We had to reorder the doors the correct size which then took several more weeks. To this date which is eight months later, we still have gaps between the doors we can see daylight through, doors that are banana shaped from top to bottom from poor quality and workmanship, and wood trim that is unlaminating.
We also ordered the doors in bronze, but the threshold was delivered in silver. I had to personally take the thresholds to a anodizing company, and $ 875 later now we have the bronze thresholds like we ordered. Be very careful of this company, their contracts stipulate that they can make any changes at any time without your approval, and the silver thresholds are one of the changes they are making due to peeling powdercoat issues with their coating company.
To this date, we’re still waiting for Panoramic Doors to correct the install and quality of the doors. They have sent their «top» quality control person to correct the situation 3 times and still cannot correct the issues.
According to the door professional that referred me to this company, Panoramic Doors used to deliver a good product until the fourth quarter 2014. With internal changes within the company, the quality of the doors and customer service had gone down the tubes. My advise is to go with a nationally branded company that will stand behind their product.

Great Customer Service and a Great Door. From quote, to order, to arrival, to installation support, to being able to enjoy the final product… nothing could have been better. The out of state sales manager, Jennifer, was fabulous. She made sure that everything was taken care, answered every question, got me all of the technical support I requested, and even took after hour calls from me. She andI actually went over the installation video together because she wanted to make sure all of my questions were addressed. And the other amazing detail… the doors are reasonably priced and truly beautiful. All of my neighbors are envious.

I purchased a La177 from Kornel at Panoramic Doors in October of 2014, door showed up in November as scheduled. During the install the 2 techs sent to install basically were a few hours late and i felt that they rushed to put in my door, they caused major damage to door, which to date 02/​03/​2015 is still not fixed or installed correctly, they damaged my travertine floor in 2 spots, didn’t clean up after themselves, left screws and food trash in my home.
There are numerous issues from the install to the damage created by the installer, the actual powder coating is bubbling and peeling, this was after the first 2 weeks, there are imperfections on the tint or coating between the 2 glass panels, there are 5 out of the 8 panels scratched, they also installed the door to far in and im unable to fix correctly, i have had 3 stucco company’s say they would not fix the bottom plate because this was incorrect. I have a gap between the air seal that i can slide a card through, which i get road noise and drafts.
I have spoken with everyone in this company and they all say the same thing dont worry itll be fixed, but they only want to fix the actual door and not the other concerns as far as the stucco, or setting the door correctly so i can fix the bottom plate. By fixing the door correctly and setting it to where it should of been set in the first place, they would have to fix the wood trim casing, the stucco again, pull 20 pieces of travertine, and reset them, they dont want to absorb the costs, and feel its correct.
They even tried to pass the buck or problems to the installer, who is and independent contractor. When i paid for the door, i paid for the door in full and was going to pay the install after it was installed. I paid after the door was installed, paid to Panoramic Doors not to a third party installer, so why is the third party installer calling me? My problem i would assume would be Panoramic Doors, am i correct?
So just an opinion, but i work hard for my money and couldn’t wait for my cool new door to come, an after thought what a mistake!!!

Great Door at most reasonable price. Kornel and installers are great.
Only thing to keep in mind is that they only install the doors. Taking out old doors, preparing the new door opening and trim (inside and outside) is your responsibility. I had a very difficult time finding a contractor and/​or handyman to do this work for residential home (small job).
Again doors and service is great. If you have a good handyman you are good to go as well.

So we got the doors installed a few months ago. But our house was still under construction so we didn’t move in until a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately there are a few problems with the installation. Charles (installation manager), came by and made a note of things. Waiting to hear back on a possible resolution. I have high hopes that they’ll make things right, especially since the service has been great so far… Will keep everyone posted.

I recently had a set of 12 foot sliding doors installed in my house and continue to believe that Panoramic is one of the great value to quality propositions in the bi-​fold door industry. This was part of the third phase of renovation at my house… suffice to say I did a significant amount of research on the bi-​fold doors and found that Panoramic offered a great product at a very competitive price relative to some of the other name brands. I was skeptical so stopped into the LA showroom to check out the system. In short, it works great and looks phenomenal. Kornel was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and came to our home a few weeks after the installation to tweak the functionality on the door. We have been very pleased with the finished product and love opening up our expanded house to the backyard. Great product and service — happy customer.

I work for a GC. We have done 3 medium size jobs with Panoramic as a sub. The 1^st 2 were perfect. The 3^rd job had a few hiccups (can happen with remodeling). In the end they stepped up and made it right. Great service — very happy.

My husband and I recently purchased sliding glass doors with Panoramic Doors. We were very happy with the competitive pricing and the phenomenal customer service. Kornel, in particular, stood out for his outstanding attitude, knowledge and professionalism. He did not pressure us into purchasing, and allowed us plenty of time to make our decision.
We will be having our doors installed next month, at which point we will post another review regarding the functionality of the doors.

Great product, excellent customer service! Kornel is very well informed in the product he sells. I walked inside the showroom just to get a feel for what I had seen on the web. Kornel did an amazing job answering all my questions.
At first the price may seem high, but after shopping around for similar type of doors I can say its very well priced. I was going through new construction and took much longer than expected in preparing for them to come out and install, but they remained very patient in dealing with me and Kornel was excellent in touching base to make sure things are moving along. My door opening is 17′, so I can imagine it wasn’t easy for them to store it until I was ready.
Once installed the doors enhanced the look of my second floor living room leading into my 1,000 sq foot deck. The doors operate smoothly and are a great convenience.
I’d suggest anyone considering this type of door to go to their showroom and get a feel for what they offer.

I wanted to find a folding door system that could be used to enclose my outdoor kitchen area. I had two openings of approximately 8×10 feet. After checking a variety of door systems, Panoramic Doors appeared to be one of the cheapest type of folding door systems. I live in Las Vegas, and Panoramic Doors told me that they could install in my area and even quoted me a price for installation. Panoramic Doors also told me that the doors could be installed easily by any contractor. I opted to get estimates from licensed contractors in Las Vegas, and chose the contractor who had 100% positive feedback from customers. I even sent the contractor the installation video, and he told me he watched the installation video and felt comfortable installing the doors.
Bottom line is that after he installed the doors, they do not function properly. Some door panels come off the hinges when you attempt to fold, and some panels get stuck in the frames and cannot be folded easily. I contacted Panoramic Doors, and they did have someone come to look at the doors and claimed that they were incorrectly installed. My contractor says he followed the installation instructions and said that the doors were warped. I asked if Panoramic Doors could reinstall the doors, and I would be willing to pay all expenses to do this. At this point, then Panoramic Doors claimed they DO NOT INSTALL in Las Vegas despite having initially claiming that they do install in Las Vegas and having given me an estimate quoting installation.
So let me summarize, I purchased Panoramic Doors at an expense of over $ 8,000 for a folding door system that does not fold. Panoramic Doors claimed installation is simple, but my contractor claims the doors are warped. Panoramic Doors after intially claiming they install in Las Vegas, now claims that they do not install in Las Vegas. I then asked if Panoramic Doors could at least give me the name of an experienced installer who they knew of who had installed their door systems. They gave me the name of an installer who I contacted and agreed to come out from California at an expense of $ 1,000 for travel and lodging, plus $ 125/​panel installation fee. Unfortunately this installer failed to keep his agreed appointment date on 3 occasions.
Bottomline, these door systems apparently are NOT as easy to install as the company claims. I would advise if you live outside of the known installation area of Panoramic Doors you avoid purchasing these doors or you may end up with a very expensive mistake like me.

Very good lead times, communication, crating, delivery, installation and service. Better pricing than the competition and way way better customer service than another famous Oceanside aluminum sliding door manufacturer. These guys actually care about the customer. Bought two sets of sliding doors from Panoramic, one 18′ wide opening and one 12+9′ zero support corner door. Both are great and the slide/​swing feature is great. Their installer, Charles, came out and put the doors in for us in record time and saved us a fortune in install costs over a local contractor. Would definitely recommend them and buy again.
