I love Piazza De Oro. Jhoanna was great helping me with the paperwork. Can’t wait to use the gym and pool

We have been here for about five months while our home is being remodeled. We have found it to be a pleasant stay for the most part. The complex is very convenient and accessible to local entertainment, merchants, restaurants and transportation. The units are large, but I’m not a big fan of having to climb stairs. It’s a good thing they have an exercise room so I can stay in shape to manage the stairs. We use the exercise room almost every day. I very seldom see anyone else there while we are exercising. Guest parking is a problem. Too many residents use the guest parking for their own cars. The office personnel are friendly, and so are most of the maintenance personnel. During our stay we haven’t been bothered by loud parties or noisy tenants. We have found our neighbors to be very friendly. All in all, I would rather be in my own home, but that not being possible, Piazza D’ Oro has been good for us. I would stay here again.

First of all the on-​site managers are amazing. They are always there to answer my questions and super friendly.
The clubhouse is so beautiful, the gym is nice, and of course the pool with all the cabanas is perfection.
I love how many playgrounds there are for children and I am thinking about getting a dog.
Which is perfect here since there is so many dog spots and they even have pet waste disposable bags throughout the community. So you never see pet waste anywhere even though almost everybody has a dog.
I fell in love the moment I was able to get coffee and a cookie in the clubhouse. Which is available everyday for residents.
I feel like they make sure only the best people move in… because all my neighbors are nice and courteous.
There are no plans to move. I mean why would I? I am so close to the 78 and 5 freeway. Next to every major supermarket and clothing store. 10 mins from the beach. Bus and Coaster transportation nearby. And also did I mention garage parking!!!
Love my new home and community.

This townhome community is awesome. The grounds are clean, the units are spacious and well maintained, the grounds are safe, the amenities are well above average, and the property is very centrally located and in a good school district. The ladies in the front office are the best part. They are my faves! My family and I have been here for a year and have had an outstanding experience. The only thing negative that has happened was that during the summer the dumpster next to my unit got infested with flies and maggots. As soon as I told Kate about it… in the blink of an eye, we had pest control, and someone came to switch out the actual dumpster and not just empy it, and she followed up after hours to make sure the issue was resolved. Talk about good customer service! The units are priced higher than surrounding communities, but as my granny use to say, «whatever is good is not cheap and whatever is cheap is not good!» We spend the couple extra bucks because Piazza D’oro townhomes are worth it!

Although my husband and I have been at Piazza D’ Oro for a short time (two months), our experience has been very good. The ladies in the office (Kate & Jhoanna) were wonderful, they showed us the model home more than once and were gracious about it every time. The townhome is beautiful and the amenities are great! Piazza D’ Oro offers pretty much everything you could want. I think the gym is great already but the owner is in the process of renovating it and adding new equipment. We work out at the gym, enjoy shooting a game of pool at the clubhouse. or just grabbing a coffee to lounge at the pool. Pet friendly and grounds are kept clean, beautiful and quiet. We looked long and hard for the right place for us, and feel like we made the right choice. Thanks again to the staff for their very warm welcome!

We moved from Texas where we had owned our home. My daughter was completely against the idea of living in an apartment. Until she saw the Piazza. Living here is unlike any apartment I’ve lived in before. It’s spacious with a gourmet kitchen, four bathrooms, and a two car garage. The neighbors are quiet at night, but during the day there are plenty of friendly faces around the pool or hot tub, or at one of the two kid play areas. The grounds are beautifully maintained with flowers and fruit trees, and on the one time we needed something repaired, the staff were super prompt. In fact, the staff are one of my favorite things about living here. They were instantly welcoming. My daughter loves the club house where there are always fresh cookies, hot chocolate and tea, and whenever we pop over for a visit Kate or one of the other office ladies always take the time to come chat. I’m SO happy we decided to go with this complex. Every day here feels like a hotel.

My husband and I sold our home after our kids went to college and wanted to downsize to something for the two of us. With two dogs, we wanted to make sure we had a great place to live and a great place for them. We found it here! From the beginning, Caroline and Kate have been so helpful and welcoming. They have been receptive to all of our questions as new residents and do what they say they will! I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone that wants a well maintained, well managed, beautiful neighborhood.

Apartments were very nice, spacious and still new. The staff was very helpful and if there were ever any minor issues they would be handled within 24 hours. Affordable too!

I’ve been living here for almost two years now. In regards to finding a nice place in North County SD, this townhome complex is hard to beat. It is expensive to live in, but the tall ceilings, staff, pool, jacuzzi, gym, clubhouse and even private boardroom make it worth it. In addition to the tall ceilings (I’m 6’3″), I also like that all the bedrooms are good size. The difficult thing about renting a home is you usually get a couple 10′ by 10′ sized rooms.

I lived in Piazza for 1 year and loved every bit of it! If it wasn’t for me and my bf moving out of the country we definitely would stay at Piazza again! They have fantastic amenities that suit your every need. Anywhere from the Large pool to swim laps in, to the 24 hour open gym, oh and i can not forget the beautiful club house they have with the two big pool tables to play on. Thank you Caroline and staff for always having good spirits and making us feel comfortable at Piazza. When we get back into the states Piazza is definitely a place you’ll be seeing us again! :-)

I just recently rented a live/​work unit here and so far I have been pleasantly surprised with the service I received for the leasing office. I am currently working with Jhoanna Connors and she has been nothing but helpful and accommodating. I had some unique landlord issues and I truly appreciate Jhoanna and the management staff working with me.

My family and I have lived at Piazza since August. We chose them out of other places due to their dog friendly complex, size of unit and modern surfaces/​appliances. We had a slim time frame to choose a place and were forced to find our new home site unseen. Kate and Caroline were so kind to send us videos from their phone of the unit and assist in any way possible. When we arrived we were still pleasantly surprised that the unit was just as nice as it was portrayed in videos. Since living hear they have been accommodating and helpful if/​when needed. I like the friendly and safe environment. Our Goldendoodle, Tucker is also very welcomed and loved from their staff!

Thank you Kate and Caroline for helping us get our new home! The office staff here is very helpful and kind. We had an issue with the unit we were supposed to move into but Kate helped us find a different unit that would work with our move in date as well as fulfill our needs regarding size and layout. The place is beautiful and everyone is so friendly. We can’t wait to move in and make it our home. Thanks for all your help ladies! See you soon!

I’ve lived here for over 2 years now and I love it! The town homes are spacious and beautiful! I love the pool and clubhouse and I haven’t had any problems in the 2 years living here. Maintenance is fast if we ever have any issues and the leasing ladies are so friendly. It’s been a pleasure getting to build a relationship with them and all my neighbors here. It’s our own little community here at Piazza D’ Oro and I love it! They have bbq grills around the property and at the pool and it really is a beautifully landscaped property. My favorite thing is probably all the hummingbirds and flowers around the property. We have a ton of hummingbirds that hang out at our feeder on the property. Also just want to mention that the leasing staff set up parties from time to time, anything from superbowl parties to easter egg hunts for the kiddos. This place is def a family friendly place, so if you’re looking to live in the Oside/​Cbad area check this place out!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
First of all, this place is not safe at all for children. The streets are extremely dangerous because people speed as fast as they can down the small slopes of the hill in their stupid sport cars. If a kid was crossing the street there is no way the car would stop in time.
And next, you can hear absolutely everything from your neighbors. Conversations, pans drop, fire alarms, TV, you name in. But if you are a young family and considering moving here don’t because there are too many young people ruining this place. When I try and sleep at night my neighbors across the street have huge parties. And just the other night one of them was drunk and yelling how he could beat up 90 percent of women and how he wants to beat up his boss after he you know what’s her. More often than not I wake up to crass language being yelled by who knows and drunken fights around this place. Don’t get me started how many times I’ve woken up to someone barfing at 3 am in the streets.
Next, the connections here suck. You can only get COX and we have the worst internet connection and cell service.
Also, parking here is A MESS! It’s crazy trying to find any parking around here. People don’t like to park in their garages for whatever reason (like my neighbors who have a ping pong table) so they park outside.
Piazza d oro staff are unhelpful liars. They come in and out as they please… Literally. One day I was relaxing at home and I heard the Locks click on my door. I freaked out and it was some maintance guy who I didn’t call doing «checkup». Don’t be fooled if a staff member respond to this acting all nice. They don’t do anything. If you try and call them or complain they avoid you like the plague.
Don’t be fooled by the amenities either. The gym looks pretty and nice in the photos but when you actually go try and work out. Half the machines are broken and the ones that aren’t are gross or taken. None of the tvs work with headphones so you have to listen to your show with either no sound or blast it bugging the neighbors.
I could go on and on but I think you get the point.
Do yourself a favor, get as far away from this place as you can and never look back.
ALSO!!! UPDATE: my brothers car got SMACKED by a jerk here and they didn’t leave a freaking note or alert anyone!!! When we notified the office they didn’t give a you know what!!! Like I said. Stay. Away.

I just want to start off by saying that the staff at Piazza D’ Oro is great! The complex is very nice and central to Carlsbad and Oceanside. The grounds are nicely maintained.
I would recommend anyone who had interest in living here to go check it out.

I have been here for 4 months and I love it. The apartments and big and very well appointed. Every time I’ve had a maintenance issue it has been handled very quickly. I love the staff here. One issue I have is that there are many residents that own motorcycles and like to rev them in the narrow vias. Oh well’ I guess I need to close my windows. Anyways, I love this place and you will too.

I have lived here for over six months now and I love it. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. The townhouses are very spacious, modern, and beautiful. The office staff is fantastic and super sweet. They are always concerned about what is going on with you. I don’t honestly see what the other reviewers could be talking about. I would recommend any of my family and friends to live here. I am confident they would all love it as much as I do. I haven’t felt this comfortable in an apartment in my entire life. It is like coming home. I finally feel like I am in a place I can stay for a long time.

Unilocal is crazy, I’m not sure why there are 5 star reviews on here. The grounds are dirty. Up front there are nice areas but when you walk around you will see dog poop in nearly every place there is dirt or wood chips.
Just after we moved in the staff the staff became hostile over something as small as a parking pass. They really talk down to you in that condensing voice. We went to the office after work and the office and the doors were locked about 15 min early. It made it difficult to talk to them because I didn’t get off work early enough.
The apartments are pretty nice. However the staff is not and the grounds are dirty.
I was going to give 1 star but it’s not that bad.
The second star is for them maintenance guys. There very good and really nice.

I am a current resident at Piazza D’ Oro, and I could not be happier! For one thing, it feels like I’m living in a high class resort, but this comes mainly from friends and visitors who envy me every time they come by for a visit. It is beautifully maintained and there many convenient amenities.
The office staff here are very approachable, very friendly, and always willing to help whenever a concern arises. They really do care for the residents here and make sure that everyone is happy. The maintenance staff are really great as well. It is a huge property, with endless demands, but they are very good at what they do and everything is carried out in a very professional manner.
I have referred many (4!!!) friends and family to come live at this property.
Rooms are spacious, the fully equipped kitchen is a big part of our reason to rent here, everything is maintained very nicely, and pest control is even included! all you have to do is sign up for it. Otherwise, all these would add up to extra costs. So although the rent can get a little higher than other apartments around town, you really do get everything that you pay for and it is worth every penny.
I am happy to be a happy resident here at Piazza D’Oro Townhomes :)
