This may be the missing link in Olathe. Great menu, extremely varied! I had the Korean noodle bowl and it was delicious. My my sig other had the 50⁄50 burger which is half bacon half beef crazy! We had two others in our party that we’re both very happy with their food choices as well. Service was fantastic, Nia was our server and she was excellent! Olathe has been missing a restaurant like this forever! My only complaint is drink prices are astronomical! They do not have well alcohol, I usually drink a vodka well mixed drink. There’s was $ 8.75 when I can cross the street and go to Johnny’s and get one for $ 3 something! This will keep me from coming here for drinks unfortunately. I still highly recommend the food though! So far, so good!

I love Embassy Suites and this one is in my town so I decided to go for lunch one day. It was just okay. It didn’t blow me away or anything. The place is beautiful. But it’s also brand new. It wasn’t busy at all so we got seated right away. Service was okay not good or bad. I guess for all the hoopla about this place I expected me.
They did make my son a turkey sandwich so that was nice. And I had the 50⁄50 burger which was awesome btw. A steak and veggie soup and a Cobb salad. I didn’t love the salad because it had too much blue cheese dressing for me. But if you’re a blue cheese lover than go for it. They have a pick two special for $ 11 which is great for lunch. Small portions but they’ll fill you up. I don’t know if I’d go back or not.

The restaurant itself is very well set up. Lively atmosphere, yet it retains an air of finess. The food and service, however, is where it lacked. For me at least. The food that I had was the buffalo chicken flat. Chicken tasted a bit… off. It was very dry and had a slightly old taste to it. The waitress was very kind to me, however had made a considerable amount of mistakes– my belief is that this is her first job serving, though. I believe that as time passes and the restaurant and staff become more experienced, things will get better and I will come back.

A very sophisticated room, with an adventurous menu and specialty bar drinks. Newly opened, there is a slightly awkward feel, the staff err on the side of being overly attentive, which is far better than the obverse. Very highly recommended for lunch, dinner, cocktails. A great addition to the neighborhood!

Destination Restaurant for Olathe! We needed this, no other real good options in our area for a nice night out without the kids… driving to downtown K.C. and having dinner and drinks makes for a long drive back especially if you live in Olathe or DeSoto. That being said we were not only pleased with the location, but also the intersting menu (mostly sharing plates) — avocado egg rolls and shui mai were the standouts, they also do a nice KC strip steak and there is a 50⁄50 bacon and ground beef burger. So many options, took the caramel apple eggrolls to go for the kids. Waitstaff was green and need some coaching, but that is probably to be expected in amy new restaurant. Wine list is huge! and a very modern décor, good mood music, we will be back.

Such a pretty hotel! Loved the J Bar! Great drinks, great Meal! Awesome Keylime cheesecake! Sat at the bar and Amber took great care of us! Can’t wait to enjoy the outdoor area this spring!

This place is gorgeous! It’s got a really contemporary vibe, from the art to the furniture. We had two appetizers, three entrees and the key lime cheesecake. The food was phenomenal from start to finish. It is not only beautifully plated, but also unique and delicious. In addition to all, The J Bar is affordable! The staff is friendly and clearly enthusiastic about working there.
We were so impressed we plan to go back in two days for the Sunday Brunch.
This is definitely not your typical hotel restaurant, and Olathe has absolutely nothing like it. An A+ all around.
