Wonderful experience. As a walk-​in only shop my husband and I waited for hours. But during that time the Devon, Dan and Aaron were nothing but courteous, professional and kind. We’ve both been to sketchy shops and cheaper places — stepping into Sailors Grave was the tattoo experience we always deserved. The guys were so caring towards everyone in yhe shop and each other. The tattoos we recieved were high quality and beautiful. I appreciated how into they talked through every step of the process and answered every question. This and sister shop Liquid Courage are our go-​to tattooists in Omaha. This place would be GREAT for a first-​timer.

I’ve been around Liquid Courage for my fair share of time in the chair, having my chest piece and entire left half-​sleeve done there by the outstanding artist Andrew Milko, and I recommend that shop frequently. Sailor’s Grave is their walk-​in only shop located in Benson and uses the same phenomenal artists who are rotated between the walk-​in shop and the appointment shop (Liquid).
The half sleeve is obviously a much larger piece and required several appointments to complete, however, I had a small piece that wasn’t too time intensive that I wanted done and knew that it could easily be done in one session. With that being the case, I went over to the crew at Sailor’s Grave and got to business. Johnna was the artist working at the time and being co-​owner of Liquid Courage, I was well aware of her work and pumped to get some art.
I already had a very good idea of what I wanted so I gave her the rundown and she went to work on drawing it up. Perfect placement, a light hand and a well done piece was the result for the art I will wear the rest of my life proudly among my ever growing collection of ink.
Highly recommended if you’re looking to get a smaller piece done or are feeling a bit impulsive. If you have a larger piece or one more intensive to detail/​planning then hit up their main shop Liquid Courage. Either way, you’ll be getting amazing work from a very, very talented group that takes pride in their work and treat each tattoo as if it’s their official business card.

Love the environment, the work and the great price. Jake did my tattoo, and he did it with perfection. I will be back for more! You can’t go wrong with Sailor’s Grave.

I just got it and said I wanted portion smaller and Should have fought more! Maybe there should’ve a balance between what someone ask for and putting your ego aside. I kept saying I want it smaller and a guy that has tattoo his whole life said it just doesn’t look right

This place is great! I felt very comfortable and the guys were very friendly. Devin did a fantastic job. He is very knowledgeable and provides helpful advice. I love my tattoo even more than I thought I would. I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I ever get another one.

Called liquid courage and they were booked 3 weeks out and referred me to their sister shop which is this place. Walked in and was immediately seen by Jason, one of their artists. It’s a $ 60 min and when it comes to forever, I don’t mind paying the price for quality. I originally wanted my tattoo to be smaller but the artist was professional and explained why he felt more comfortable with making it a tad larger. I love my tattoo, the place is clean and and the staff was welcoming.

Sailor’s Grave is run and staffed by the same awesome crew as Liquid Courage so you know it’s legit. I’ve had work done by Dennis and he is talented/​professional — made me feel completely comfortable and I love the finished piece. I’m sure all the artists are the same.

Great walk-​in sister store to Liquid Courage. I got a very precisely lettered tattoo the other day and the artist was friendly and attentive. I waited quite a while, but that was due more to the indecisive customer before me than the artist. I’ll be back soon!

I’ve been tattooed at Liquid Courage many times before, but I really got into the more open environment at Sailor’s Grave. We all interacted with one another and even if the conversation didn’t directly include any of us there wasn’t any apprehension on throwing in our two cents. It was very comfortable and we laughed quite a bit. I was the only female in the shop at the time too.
I’ve been to other open air type shops before and I’ve always gotten the feeling like I am being gawked at. I never got that feeling when I was at Sailor’s. I think it’s a perfect example of the type of professionalism that they bring to an industry that can be notorious for everything but that.
Devin did an amazing piece for me that night, couple that with the awesome environment you absolutely can’t go wrong!
