History

Established in 2000.

Nuclear Ink is Omaha’ s first all-custom tattoo studio. Nuclear Ink Custom Tattoo first opened in the summer of 1999 located in South Omaha. In 2000, we moved to our current location just north of 72nd and Dodge Street in Midtown. We started out as a shop exclusively for custom tattoos.

We pride ourselves on being the friendliest tattoo shop that most people have ever entered. Many of our clients tell us stories about their experiences in other shops, of unfriendly or downright surly attitudes from the artists, often even a lack of respect for the clients’ ideas and input. Many of these customers tell us that they chose our shop because we were the only ones who were nice to them, then were amazed by the quality of our work. Our studio environment allows our clients to relax during their tattoo procedure, enjoying good conversation and company. Our clients come from all walks of life and we enjoy meeting different people everyday, often gaining new friends in the process.
