We’ve got 24 lanes, automated bumpers for the kids, automatic scoring, and even cosmic bowling, available each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Between bowling, playing pool, and an arcade, there’s always something to entertain the whole family.

History
Established in 1955.
One of Omaha’s oldest bowling centers, West Lanes has been a mecca for local and out of town bowlers for over 50 years. Built in 1955 by Anthony «Tony» Pirruccello and his wife Nellie, West Lanes Bowling Center was a destination spot which hosted many of the state’s and region’s most prestigious tournaments.
Pioneers in the bowling business, the Pirruccello’s West Lanes was the first in Omaha to install automatic scoring. The Pirruccellos sold the business in 1980 but remained landlords of the West Lanes plaza. In 2011, after 31 years, the Pirruccello family reacquired ownership of the business. Today Tony and Nellie’s family operate the business in the same friendly environment. Although Tony passed away in 1996, his wife Nellie (101 years old) still occasionally visits to greet the customers and share a story about the early days of this Omaha institution!

Mike has spent much of his life at West Lanes Bowling Center. Growing up, Mike’s family owned and operated the entertainment mecca. Naturally, Mike chose to continue his family’s legacy. Mike enjoys being able to serve the public at West Lanes Bowling Center, where our family fun and affordable entertainment is the driving force of the business. Mike hopes to provide you such a positive experience you’ll remember to return to West Lanes when you’re in need of a fun time with the whole family.
