Want to know how I met Todd?
Working at the Daily Bulletin for the past 16 years, I’d been hearing that name over and over and over… and each week as we built real estate ads in my department, I saw photos of him and ads that he was running…
I never met him back then.
But the girls up front LOVED him!
Now… fast forward 14 years when my husband and I are out in Rancho Cucamonga looking for a smaller home in order to downsize and we’re snooping through empty homes windows that we’d found online through another realtor (who shall remain nameless)
Of course… we were busted since he drove up JUST as we had finished peeking inside… (shhh… don’t say anything because i never told him that!) then noticed someone pulling up to park in the driveway! :guilty looks on both our faces, but TRYING to play innocent:
I realized he was the listing agent and we all chatted for a few minutes.
Rather quickly, it occurred to me that this guy might be the guy who’d been advertising with my company for so many years… so I asked if he was Todd Picconi.
He WAS!
He showed us the house and we liked it – so as we were leaving, we asked if he could come take a look at our house, sometime, and give us some sort of idea as to what we could afford…
He told us he’d follow us home RIGHT THEN! (wow. very accessible!)
And the rest is history!!!
OK: we actually found a DIFFERENT house that we could NOT live without!!! And after the other realtors stopped playing games long enough to let us buy it, he got it for us!
Todd was truly caring throughout the ENTIRE process!!! From the open house up to the point where we had to choose between multiple buyers for our home (NOT as cool as you might think, really) — to the negotiations with the new home sellers. — he figuratively held our hand every step of the way!!!

I’ve know Todd for years from just following his family and career thru business networking. We had the pleasure of doing some ground work for beginning of possibly selling out home after 22 years. Todd is the go to realtor! He is very helpful, thorough, and positive. Every time we went looking at houses, my family and I had a blast. Most importantly he helped make my first time buying experience simple, fast, and easy. I felt that I had nothing to worry about because he was always double and triple checking that all documents were filled out correctly and in timely manner. We met Todd just over a year ago while out stalking one of his listings. We were peaking in windows and walking around the yard when he showed up to meet some clients. We had been thinking about listing our 120 year old Victorian and getting into something smaller with fewer projects. After explaining our situation to Todd he went right to work for us showing us a few houses to get a feel for what we were looking for, and researching our home and situation there to see how we could go about listing that house and getting the most for it in a VERY down market. Todd put a lot of work into what turned out not to be. We just weren’t going to get enough for our old house to get us into something new. But Todd’s enthusiasm and the work he put into a situation that had no promise of anything, really stuck with us.
Fast forward a year later. The housing market has picked up a little and we are starting to formulate a list in our head of what we need to do to put our house on the market using some of the suggestions Todd had made a year earlier. We figured we’d get some of the projects going and hopefully get the house listed by late this year. Then one weekend we were out and followed some open house signs and landed in the home we had been dreaming of and looking for. It was perfect. We couldn’t stop thinking about it. A couple of days later we decided we needed to go for it. Now we have friends who are realtors, and acquaintances who had been pursuing us, and the realtors who helped us find the home we were living in. But who did we end up calling? Todd Picconi.
Once again Todd went right to work for us. After touring the home with my wife he came back and wrote an offer for us and the next morning listed our house for sale. He took some great pictures of the house we were selling and made an amazing video that I still bring up to watch occasionally.

Our house hit the MLS Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening we had two full price offers. Not willing to sit on that, Todd continued to plan an open house for the next weekend and by the end of that first weekend the offers were up to 5.
In the mean time were making an offer on the house of our dreams and the sellers realtors weren’t making it easy. We had to jump through hoops but Todd was there the whole time, making suggestions, giving us our options, but never forcing us to do one or the other. He was there to help but not to make the decisions for us.
Well things worked out and we got the house we made the offer on, and chose who we thought had the best chance of sailing through escrow on the house we were selling.
If you’ve ever bought and sold a house at the same time you know there’s a lot going on. Todd was there pretty much ²⁴⁄₇. We heard from him late at night and early in the morning. We talked to him everyday of the week for almost a month and a half. We had to wonder if this guy had a life of his own. We figured, the real estate markets down, he’s probably not busy with a lot of clients and has a lot of time for us. Turns out, this month was a record month for Todd. He not only had other clients he had a record setting bunch of clients. Yet you wouldn’t have known it. He was always there for us when we called.
Todd not only proved to be the best realtor we’ve worked with, but he’s become a friend. We moved into our home just about 3 weeks ago now, and we still talk to him and had dinner with him last week.
Todd’s a great person, and a great realtor and will continue to be our good friend.
