Surf’s Up Dolphin Cruises

Easily the best part of our trip to Gulf Shores, I was a little skeptical of spending two hours on a boat looking for dolphins but I was pleasantly suprised! Price was very reasonable and in fact, I would have gladly paid a little more considering how good the experience was. The captain and deck mate were very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw plenty of dolphins, even watching them show off when they had two boats travel side by side to create a wake. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I hope to get the chance to go again when I return to Gulf Shores.

This was one of the best parts of our vacation. The captain and deckhand were great and we saw many Dolphins. It was a relaxing boat ride and a steal for the price.

Amazing! Could not have picked a better dolphin cruise! The dolphins actually jump out of the water when their boats come around and you get close up action of dolphins. Very unique experience. Worth the wait and the price. Very nice crew as well. Would highly recommend.

This was awesome! Great price and lots of fun! So cool to see the dolphins jumping out of the water and swimming right along with the boat. The crew was very upbeat and made the ride enjoyable! Thank you for a fun and exciting experience!

This trip is 2 hours and has tons of dolphin sightings. They ride the waves behind the boats and at times you are about 6 feet from them. Captain and mate were very good at making sure the little ones got front row. Much appreciated. Trip was very reasonable for price; I would have paid more so we tipped the crew mate. Bring cash, the tips are appreciated. They were relaxed when my kid was not remembering the rules and gently reminded my little over enthusiastic dolphin spotter that she needed to follow the rules to be safe. We will be doing this again next time we are down here.

Great price and super friendly staff! Ride out is long, but the two boats get together and drive side by side which causes the Dolphins to jump in between the boats! Awesome views!

This was an awesome dolphin boat ride. We took the 5:30 evening tour the breeze was nice and the boats were very nice weather was not to hot… the deck hand Clyde was very friendly and talked to everyone on the boat… some Dolphins came while two boats made the waves so the Dolphins could jump up and wave at us… Overall a very good experience… Every one had a good time and defiantly the highlight of our trip… and the boats were very nice…

Thought this was going to be your average slow moving dolphin tour. Boy was I wrong. Fantastic time! We saw a bunch of Dolphins swimming and jumping along side the boat. Bring your camera because you will get plenty of chances to use it!!!

Can I give more than 5 stars??? These guys are AWESOME! This was my 3
kids favorite part of their whole trip to GS! We paid $ 10 or $ 12 per person (I called others and they were $ 20+ pp). I thought it wouldn’t be as good bc it was less but NOT at ALL! These guys take two boats out at the same time and when they get to the area where the dolphins are, they line the boats up side by side and GO! Creates a HUGE wave between the boats and the dolphins just do their thing! Jumping, flipping. like 15 ft from you. The other guys that were $ 20+ (usually in those double stacked boats that have windows up top… they are «calm» dolphin tours and do not go fast) were in the same area we were in and they just pedaled around «viewing» dolphins. We got to SEE the dolphins up close and playing! Surfs up is the way to go! They are just local guys who know people are on vacation and don’t want to price gouge them. You will NOT be disappointed. Have fun !

Must do in Gulf Shores area. Told us would be 1.5 hrs, but ended up being 2.5. Saw 2 dolphins right after pulling out of dock and them many more including captain revving engine to get them to glow wake and them show off. I have 3 kids plus my nieces and they were so astonished. Fun for kids and adults.
