Melissa was so personable, professional, and knowledgeable every time we got together! I booked her for makeup only, but from looking at her past work, I know she would have done a beautiful hairstyle as well. Between the trial runs and the wedding day makeup I could not have been happier. Melissa gave me exactly what I wanted for me AND for my bridal party, and it even lasted all day! I highly recommend her for your engagement pictures, bridal shower, bachelorette party, wedding day, and anything else you might need a makeup artist for, definitely try the airbrush though because it is pretty amazing. Thanks Melissa, I love Blush By M. Marie and I will definitely think of you for future makeup needs.

I hired Melissa of Blush by M Marie to do hair and makeup for my two bridesmaids and myself for my wedding in San Diego. Melissa was wonderful! She traveled to the hotel where my bridesmaids and I were staying and worked within my schedule to make sure that we got everything we needed in a way that was convenient for us. Her flexibility was important to me since I was only in town for a few days before my wedding since I no longer reside in CA, but wanted to have my wedding in San Diego. She was very easy to work with. I also definitely thought is was convenient to choose someone who did both hair and makeup. Melissa did both hair and makeup for myself and my 2 bridesmaids, and the results were terrific. We looked gorgeous. Melissa accepted feedback after my hair/​makeup trial and also looked at pictures that my bridesmaid had, and implemented everything we asked for. The makeup needed some touch ups throughout the hot day, but the hair stayed completely in place. I was very happy with how everyone looked, and I was also very happy that we got to meet Melissa because we all loved talking to her. She was very friendly and professional.
