I would give this location zero stars if I could! I have been In on two occasions with my husband for work boots. The prices are fair, however the customer service is crappy. I walked in behind my husband with our kids, and they were very happy to greet me. I was shopping in the ladies section and everyone was super polite and asked if I needed help or needed to try anything on. My husband on the other hand, who is half white and Hispanic, got horrible customer service. I walked over to see if he found his usual boots, and he did just not in the size needed. Multiple times employees walked by and asked every other white person if they needed help, but not my husband. Then they approached me and I was like yes please help my husband. I was already frustrated and ready to leave and purchase elsewhere, but we drove from Huntington Beach to come here. So the employer gets us the right boots, and up to the front we go to pay! I’m in line while the hubby is looking at socks. The middle aged white man up front asked if I’m ready I said yes, then my husband walked up behind me and put the boots on the counter, the gentleman who asked if I was ready then had the Hispanic girl behind the counter to charge us out. Wtf? I was fuming! I walked out and will never go back again after this experience. How uncomfortable of a situation! I am clearly White as day and got the attention I deserved, but my husband was treated unfairly. I feel they discriminate and it was the worst experience I’ve ever been in!!!

I come to this place a lot. Mostly at their other location because it’s closer to my house. Everyone is always friendly, quick to help. Love walking in the door and getting that strong smell of country. Best thing is they can order anything you want, if they don’t have it in stock. I will be back, lots more.

I ordered a pair of Lucchese boots for a Christmas present for my husband. He loved them, put them on and about an hour into wearing them, noticed there was a hole in the ostrich skin on the top of the foot. We have called Boot Barn repeatedly and they keep saying they will send us a return label within 48 hours via email and we have yet to receive it. This is a $ 500 pair of boots and this is NOT the way we expect to be treated. It would appear that they are selling defective merchandise for full price. We will continue to pursue our refund.
NEVER AGAIN will we buy from them and I would caution others purchasing online to go somewhere else!

Ordered a pr of boots to be shipped to my son. During the process tried to contact Customer Service just to be sure of the order (888 #). No answer at any time of day. Put order through and he received the boots. Wrong size. Tried the 888 Customer Service number countless times today and left three voice mail messages to get instructions for refund. No response.
Would never order from them again. Beware.

I needed work boots, and my last pair of Red Wings fell apart on me with little overall use (though I did have them for a while), so I was not going to give them a shot.
I headed here since it was very convenient for my office, and they had a good selection of boots and brands in a lot of sizes. I had my choice of few brands and ended up picking between a pair of Timberlands. It worked out great, the prices were reasonable, and they had what I needed in stock.
I’ll be back in 2 to 4 years when I need another pair of steel toe work boots.

Bought three new pairs of boots here since December. I appreciate they say hello upon arriving and offer to help. I always know what I want &/​or like so no pressure to sell is appreciated. I like that they let me be until its time to ring me up. They worked with me on an exchange with no problems. Satisfied customer and will continue to come back.

My husband had a defect with a boot he bought 6 months ago and the Lake Forest llocation would not give him the time of day and told him «they are meant to crack in the sole like that». needless to say we were not happy at all with their customer service and negative attitude. We called the next nearest location and George said come on down and we will take care of you. Its worth the 30 minute drive and we will only shop at the Orange location in the future. 714−538−2668

Poor customer service. The sales associates were too involved with their own conversations to provide any help. When I finally interrupted their conversation to ask about a certain boot, the first person didn’t know anything, and the second associate who answered my question was short and somewhat unfriendly, like she didn’t want to be there. Later on I decided to go with a boot I liked with a few other things. I stood at the register with no one there for a good while. One associate was in plain site and kinda just ignored I was there. Already frustrated, I ended up just walking out of the store, leaving a good 300 dollars of merchandise on the counter.

I was told this was the first Boot Barn ever! I was shocked at how small the store is but blown away by the selection! I do not normally wear country style clothing but I had an event to go to and found incredible pieces! They also have a wonderful selection of boots and jeans! I will be back for sure!

We were assisted by Sydney, which was a wonderful sales associate that was extremely knowledgeable about the product in which she was selling. We came here this past weekend to look around for a pair of cowgirl boots and a pair of work boots for my boyfriend.
I was given a chance to look around at the boots in the women’s section before i had someone breathing down my neck which i really appreciated, although i had no idea what i was looking for i got to look at a couple on my foot and get a idea of what i liked. Then once Sydney walked over i was so relieved, she asked where i was planning on wearing the boots and how often, she insisted on knowing this so she could help find the perfect boot. She then informed me of all my options and the comfort of each style of boot. Then after i told her what i was thinking i liked the most, she selected all the boots in my size, in which she felt would be a perfect match for my requirements, i was no obligated to try every single one on.
She then walked around the corner and allowed me to decided which brand and style i liked the most. I was then stuck between two pairs of boots, she insisted that i walk around and get a feel for each one and then decided. Once i had made up my mind, i placed both boots on my feet and i felt like a country Cinderella. ;]
I then walked over to the men’s section (in my boots) and found Cameron with a couple pairs of boots he was contemplating on. Sydney helped with finding us the right pair of socks for the boots in which we were purchasing and gave us information on how to care for the leather of our boots. Cameron then made up his mind and we ended up purchasing a pair Ariat work boots and pair of Dan Post Country Cowgirl boots, Boot Barn Leather Care and Cleaner and 2 packs of Wolverine Boot Socks.
The only reason i did not give this store a ⁵⁄₅ rating was because i wish they would carry more country women wear that was more for younger women, especially around Stagecoach season. Such as country festival wear rather then just plaid button ups and rhinestones shirts.
I can’t thank you guys enough though for bring me together with my Pan Post Boots. I am OBSESSED!!!

I had a warranty issue and I was given the runaround at the katella location. Called and spoke to George and he took care of me. He went out of his way to take care of the issue, made my day for sure. He’s awsome and very knowledgeable about everything. Thanks for the great experience George !!!

Selection is pretty sad for a place named boot barn. Should be called hick wear.
Customer service is non existent, it took 10 minutes for someone to say a word other than «hi» to me. They failed to complete my boot order once I had found something to settle on too.
More than likely they will not have your size. take your business elsewhere people. Save yourself the hassle.

Employees were really friendly. George the manager allowed me to exchange an item that i bought a while ago which was really nice. Will definitely refer my peers to this location!

First off the selection of boots for a large size building called boot barn wasn’t that great. Less than ¹⁄₃ of the place is actually boots. Most of it is western wear clothing like jeans and shirts you can find anywhere.
I was disappointed with Boot Barn. I wanted to buy a pair of boots for a friend and it took me 15 minutes to get someone to help me. After walking around trying to get help I ended up walking to the register and asking the counter girl for help. The girl that did finally help was pretty short with me and although I bought a pair of boots, I wasn’t really happy with them. I will look somewhere else next time.
Some people say the prices are great but you get what you pay for. Their «cheaper» $ 200-​$ 300 boots are just that cheap low quality boots.

Paula and Anna really changed my mind about the Boot Barn in Orange! I was so bummed after my first experience there (was given inaccurate shopping hours, wasn’t helped with my boot shopping). That all changed when I went back this weekend.
Anna was AWESOME at helping me find my new boots. She was so personable and helpful. She made the experience super positive and easy. I left with a cute, comfy and perfect pair of Justin boots. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience.
I will absolutely continue to shop at the Boot Barn in Orange, and definitely recommend shopping with Anna. She was great!

Great experience: The prices were much lower than I had expected. I picked up a belt, a quality hat, and necklace for under $ 90! There were a lot of cute clothes too, even for this girl who is not a cowgirl! I’ll be back. The service was exceptional.

Popped in the other day looking for an inexpensive but comfortable pair of boots to wear to the Stagecoach Music Festival this past weekend. The staff was very friendly and showed me what I was looking for. Somewhere along the way I talked myself in the most expensive pair of boots on the shelf and I am happy I did. After walking around for three days straight at the festival and I am even more happy I purchased the boots I did. They were very comfortable and not a single blister!!!

Disappointed at this location. My wife and I came in so that she could look at boots. No help, suggestions, or anything. From the staff. They said, «hi» when we entered and showed my wife where the socks were when she asked so she could try on boots but then left to the counter and never end checked back. I like the selection of cowboy hats, but we ended up not buying anything. We will give boot barn another try, but probably not this one. We stopped in yesterday (2÷13÷14 at about noon.)

Such a huge selection! The person who helped me was very patient. She explained what to look for when trying on boots and the different styles. Because of her, I feel that I am ready to move out to Texas. 10 out of 10
