Correct Performance/ CPXwheels

Oskar & the rest of the guys are grade a in my book in regards to their customer service, pricing and overall knowledge to get your vehicle the right look and desired stance. I’m a repeat customer as a result even though I live an hour away from them.

I took my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland to CPX recently. A friend of mine got his tires done there and said they did a superb job. When I arrived, I was instantly greeted by Geno and Mike and they were extremely helpful with helping me pick out the perfect set of rims and tires for my Jeep. The entire staff was very very friendly, positive and experienced. I felt like I could trust these guys with my car and that they could provide me with exactly what I was looking for. After choosing a set of new slick wheels they said they could have it done the next day. Once I arrived to see my car I was blown away! They really did an amazing job and took extremely good care of me, I even got a smoking good deal and quick turn around time. I highly recommend CPX’s services and I’ll be referring all of my friends to them. Thank you so much guys for the fantastic work! You out did yourselves.

Mike and oscar are awesome over at cpx. I bought cobra style wheels for my 66 mustang and they came out awesome. They hook me up with a fantastic price, they beat all the other tire shops that I contacted. The customer service was excellent. It’s great to help out a local company and not a big franchise thats all about quantity and not quality. I have since bought tires for my truck and they unbent and Mount/​balanced a tire for free for me too. These guys are great I definitely suggest you stop by and check out their show room.

Bait and Switch? Honest Mistake? I found what I thought was a good deal on some used tires on Craig’s list (working on a truck and need some used tires until it is fixed up and ready for some new tires), and was told to pick them up at this shop and that Oscar knew I was on my way. Apparently he did not. When I got there, Oscar couldn’t seem to be able to find the tires or know where they went. I was orginally going to pick them up the day before, but I was specifically told they were still available (I asked) and everything was fine to pick them up around lunch. On the flip side, the shop seemed nice, they were working on some nice looking wheels, and Oscar lent me a ⁵⁄₈ wrench to try to fix something on my truck. So 1 star for that. Not sure if there was some honest miscommunication, they got sold and no one sent Oscar the memo, or it is some weird bait and switch to try and get people to their store?
I called the shop up the next day to try and clear things up and I was told I would get a call back once he investigated, but the tires were still MIA, and the craigslist add was still up and had been updated! If I get a call back from Oscar to explain things I’ll update this review but at this point I’m not holding my breath. I’m half tempted to have my buddy show some interest in these tires that are still on Craig’s List and I wonder if they would then magically appear.

They pulled the BAIT AND SWITCH on me w/​a craigslist ad.
Finance wheels thru their 3^rd party company. Oscar told me 1yr no intrest or fees, but Progressive said 90 days. Oscar gave me a price but was charged $ 200 more from Progessive. Oscar said hed fix it, but a month later Progressive didnt hear anything from him.
First set of wheels didnt fit and Oscar said it was manufacturer error. Second set was suggested by Mike the owner and i wasnt happy with it. They gave me a hard time w/​a refund, so i went thru my Card company and i got it back, then Mike calls me and says im not a very nice guy.
They charged me for mount and balance and they werent even balanced. lol.
The whole time Mike was finding wheels for me, he was talking sh/​t about people who liked 18in. wheels and that it was stupid to put them in muscle cars. He wanted to sell me 17’s so he could be done w/​the sale, but its not what i wanted. So i went elsewhere and found 18’s that fit w/​no problem.
Im not a nice guy, and ill tell you if i dont want to pay for something i dont like.

How do I even begin to explain my disastrous encounter with Correct Performance and Geno? I guess I will start by pointing out how funny it is that a company named Correct Performance sent me the wrong wheels and only after a lengthy delay. After receiving the wheels I spoke with Geno several times and got a very uneasy feeling about the options he offered and decided to keep the wheels they sent (wrong model and style) and just receive a refund for the difference of what I paid and the list price for the cheap shitty off brand they sent me. I will spare everyone the details but over the next several months, over 50 phone calls I grew tires of being called Buddy and being offered complete bullshit excuses. According to Geno, Mike (who I assume is the owner) is almost never in the office so getting a resolution to a problem takes months. I eventually did receive a partial refund but never what I was owed. Geno eventually offered to refund another partial refund out of his own paycheck (seriously what the hell is this about) and of course that never arrived. In a final attempt to resolve this I agreed to accept a set of center caps as the final resolution to this transaction and I am still waiting at the time I am writing this even though Geno swears he sent them. Honestly I would rather be violated with a baseball bat in a dark alley then have to deal with this **** again.

Fantastic customer service and excellent work on my car. I needed new tires on my Hyundai and Pedro and Mike took care of it quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I will definitely come back. Very happy! :-)

Great shop! Went in to get some 19 inch VMR wheels and they did not have them, in fact they never carried that brand but they ordered them for me and gave me a great deal with tires! Best price I had gotten all around and they even offer the 90 day same as cash deal if you do not want to drop all the money at once. The shop owners were very nice and professional and my boy Chris installed my wheels and tires with lots of care and professionalism. The other negative reviews surprise me because all I had was great service when I went to them! Give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

I am not sure where these other reviewers went, but it isn’t the same shop I went to, because Geno was awesome, and so was Chris! They did a fantastic job on my car. Geno ordered the EXACT wheels I wanted for my 2013 Dodge Charger, Viper replicas in Satin black 20 inch.
When they came in in about 4 days, he called me and we set up an install time.
I am SUPER picky about my car, they took care of my car, and no BS.
Really good pricing, and my car looks so awesome! Don’t pay attention to those other reviews, this place is the real deal, it may be a small shop, but they take care of you and give you what you ask for.
They have some wheels in stock, but like I said, they are a small shop and can order you whatever wheels you’re looking for in a reasonable time.

Do not go here. Gino and Mike are full of lies and don’t do business honestly. They sucker you in with their lower prices only to find they don’t do the job correct. When they got done installing my rims, they were too cheap to put the hub center rings on. My car was bouncing all over the place. I had to drive to go meet their parts guy to pick them up and take them to my mechanic to get installed.
I recently had an issue with one of the rims cracking and took it their to get fixed. Big Mistake! It took them a week and 100 phone calls to finally get it done. Gino told me it would be ready 10am Tuesday. My wife went in for me because I couldn’t get off of work. He claimed the owners truck overheated on his way to pick up the rim from the welding place. I called back a couple hours later, the owner Mike tells me something totally different and claim’s he doesn’t know Gino was talking about. They had the nerve to charge me $ 20 for mounting and balancing. All they did was change the tire on my car. The weights for the balancing were slapped on there in one strip rather than actually balancing them on the machine. In other words they took a guess where they thought they belong. I had to go to a different mechanic to get them balanced correctly. They don’t have the machine to balance anything larger than 18inches. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra couple hundred bucks to have it done right.
