Marc from Done Rite came and replaced the leaking kitchen faucet with a high quality part. Professional and on-​time. The whole team answered all the questions I had and were very responsive in doing so. Their prices are competitive too. Would recommend them.

Done Rite Plumbing has a great team. I called on a Saturday afternoon to get a quote over the phone to install 3 new toilets and had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday morning at my house. Mark arrived on time, did the work well and quickly, and took care to make sure the dirty toilet boxes and water didn’t make a mess of our carpeting. They also gave me the best price quote to boot. Wouldn’t hesitate to contact Mark and Done-​Rite again for the next job.

Mark did a great job with our water line cutoffs and faucet installation for our bathroom. Quote was fairly priced, job was completed efficiently. Dave responds to requests quickly. Not sure about the trailer park review. I guess there is an addage about those that live in trailer parks, and why they ended up there…

I was referred to Done-​Rite plumbing by a neighbor of mine that has used their services before. You never know what kind of service you are going to get when you call a plumber, so I was happy to have one referred to me. I called Done-​Rite plumbing because I had a clogged toilet and the owner Dave definitely knew his shit (pun intended). All joking aside, Dave did a great job. He even arrived early and finished the job in no time. He was honest, professional, and clean. I would definitely use him again and have no problem recommending Done-​Rite to anyone I know.

This guy (David the owner) knows his stuff and was a pleasure to work with. He is the go to guy at work when we have any plumbing issues. We have had to call him twice, once to replace a garbage disposal and the second time to replace our water heater. I work in a financial office and I was amazed at how quiet and how quickly he worked. I would definitely recommend him!
I just read a passed review and was shocked at the comments. David has serviced mobile homes before. I know because I referred him to my grandmother who lives in The Groves in Irvine, a mobile home park! He had no problems helping her! He also had no problems fitting in our closet where the water heater is stored.

I called this company to do some work on my Mom’s house. I met them there, the owner Dave was the one that showed up. He was on time and very polite. He explained everything very well and there were no surprise charges. It felt nice being walked through the process of what repairs needed to be done right away and what could wait. He was very thorough. I highly recommend this company, they are very honest and got the work I needed done in a timely manner. I will definitely use him again and definitely will be referring him to my friends.

I found a puddle of water in my master. Dave came out quickly and while it was a slab a leak Dave worked until 11 pm to get my water working as well as advised me on what steps to take. He is professional, clean and honest. I will keep him on speed dial!

If I could give less than one star for the service I received from this company this morning, I would, as that is exactly the amount of service I got. ABSOLUTELY NONE! I paid their UNDISCLOSED «investigation fee» of $ 79.50 for absolutely NOTHING! My first question to Dave when I called about a leak under my kitchen sink and one in the utility room that were causing soft spots in the flooring was «Do you work on mobile homes?» his answer was an unequivocal «yes». The guy they sent was well over 6 feet tall and over 250 — no way he could fit in the crawl space under my mobile home in order to do the work reasonably let alone properly. Dave should not have knowingly taken a job that they were physically unable to perform, nor should I have been charged a cent because they couldn’t or weren’t physically able to provide the services requested. $ 79.50 ($ 3.50 a minute) for absolutely NOTHING! Do not trust these guys, they do not have the ability to do the work on mobile homes that they say that they can and they have no hesitation in charging you anyway. Now I’m looking for a plumber who can actually do the job that they’re paid for as I can’t trust what the guy was able to point his flashlight at. $ 79.50 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

He ran the water in the kitchen sink for less than 30 seconds and touched no other fixtures in the entire house! As to a pressure test, unless he had a pair of pliers, that’s a pretty tough trick. There was no mention of any kind of «investigation, service or diagnostic fee» when we spoke Dave, NONE! — I’ve called another plumber since your company is incapable of doing the work you agreed to and I’ve requested. The average or «normal» height of men in the US is 5.9 not 6.4 and the space seems to be no problem for the guys who work for the 3 or 4 other companies that replaced some of the fixtures under the unit. The plumber that I’m now using has free estimates and no hidden «fees». The items you mention — travel time, gas, your costs, etc. are your cost of doing business and should not be passed on to your clients, most especially when the services agreed upon were not completed in a reasonable manner.

The second company I hired yesterday did, indeed, locate and repair two leaks missed by flashlight guy this morning. Overall, I paid $ 185.00 for their repairs and $ 79.50 to Done-​rite for absolutely nothing. Had I relied on their incompetence, who knows how much more damage could have been done to my home. Although a refund was offered — but only if I gave them information they had no legal right to possess and I removed this honest review of their work — I’ve chosen to let them keep the money as they need to be taught a lesson in basic honesty and the value of treating people fairly, and if this review helps in that, it’s money well spent. Don’t be misled by the reviews as I was. Do not trust these guys to do the work they say they can or will. Do not do business with these guys, their business practices are much less than honest.
Honor is a rare thing Dave, think about that…

Had a slow drain issue and water heater flush, Done Rite did a great job doing both. Drain took a little extra effort to clear and they did it without charging anything extra! Will definitely call them again when needed.

He was a great guy and an awesome plumber! He came after the big chain plumber came by and couldn’t find the issue. Found it in about 5 minutes and resolved it quickly to get us back up and running. We will have him come back to finish the project and make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Our toilet was leaking so I decided to install a new one myself last week. I got it in and everything seemed fine but we’ve had two major leaks in our home in the last 8 years so I’m a little paranoid about water. I decided to call someone up to re-​install the toilet.
I jumped on Unilocal and found Done-​Rite Plumbing and Rooter. I gave Dave a call and he had Marc at my doorstep within a couple of hours. Marc was great and walked me through everything he was going to work on. Even my dog liked him. He only barked at him once when he first showed up so that’s saying something.
I was quoted a price for the install and that is exactly what they charged me which was nice. I was going to replace our two other toilets myself but I think I’ll be calling Done-​Rite.

I needed a drain cleared and a kitchen sink installed. I looked on Unilocal and read reviews on different plumbers — what I liked was that Done-​Right Plumbing responded to the negative reviews. Believe me — every plumber I checked out here on Unilocal had some sort of negative review/​experience. Anyways, I called Done Right and talked to Dave about my needs. Dave quoted me a firm price and a specific time that he would arrive. He showed up on time, answered my questions, and did a really good job.
One of the details that I appreciated was that Dave kept the work area clean and had slip on/​off boots that way my carpet would stay clean when he went upstairs to the bathroom to clear the drain. Dave was a straight shooter on the pricing, showed up on time and did a great job. I also talked to him about future projects (moving my water heater from an indoor closet to my garage) and he gave me some pointers and considerations to think about. He didn’t pressure me to do the «extra work» (water heater) now and I appreciated that. When it comes time for me to do these other plumbing projects, I’m definitely giving 2 «thumbs up» for the great service and calling Done-​Right Plumbing for any future plumbing needs. Thanks Dave!

Dave is very knowledgeable and professional. He let me know when he would arrive, which was with in three hours of calling. Was able to take a look at my toilet and asses the problem right away. Rather than try to up sell service and parts I didn’t need, he was honest and said what I really needed now and what could wait. Would recommend to anyone.

Had him come out in December to clear the main and paid him more than we’ve paid anyone else, he came out again in February and said it was something else, and that may be true. Well we had that done too with a problem so he had to come back to fix it. Now here we are in March and have to find another plumber to do the main again. Not happy.

As the Office Manager for the Girl Scouts of Orange County, it is my job to find reliable, knowledgeable, and affordable service companies that we can call on for all 5 of our locations (soon to be 6). I had some plumbing issues at home and a family member recommended David and he did an amazing job so when the water heater went out in our main building 2 years ago, I knew who we were going to call.
We were so happy with David’s service that over the last 2 years David has also unclogged sinks, replaced drinking fountains, installed garbage disposals, cleared drains, changed out complicated shower heads and corrected many other plumbing problems at all 5 locations. Most recently we decided to lower the water waste from the toilets and urinals in the building (close to 20 units). David guided us in the right direction for choosing new equipment, provided fair estimates and got the job done in less time than estimated.
Needless to say, we are more than thrilled with the service provided and will continue to use, and recommend, Done-​Rite Plumbing.

I’ve used Done-​Rite twice and have been happy both times. First, Dave came out to do a sewer cam inspection on a house I was buying. When I called to schedule the inspection, it was 7:30 at night but he answered the phone right away. On inspection day, he was on-​time, thorough, and charged a good price. This was our fourth escrow and third sewer cam inspection and, by far, the most pleasant one of the three. Really wish we had called Dave for the first two!
The second time we had Kevin and Sam hook up our kitchen sink, kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, bathroom sink, and bathroom faucet. These two were also punctual and got straight to work. We had expected the job to take most of the day but they finished everything within a few hours without cutting any corners at all. Probably realizing we were first time home buyers, they walked us around the house and pointed out all the shut off valves. As a bonus, they were really friendly with our dogs.
These will be the first plumbers we call whenever we need work done!

We have a line of area drains which plug up when there’s too much rain. And with the amount of rain that falls in California, you can’t blame us too much for waiting 5 years to get it cleaned. Well, you know how it goes, folks. El Nino is coming!
Before we called Dave — we had someone from the Cole Company come out — they wanted 16.75, we guessed for each drain. Nope! They wanted $ 1,675 and the plumber who came out immediately was pushing for the hydrojet.
Dave came out same-​day for this service and after a quick inspection, grabbed the snake. We had to troubleshoot the pipe orientations since we don’t have blueprints, and Dave adeptly figured that out. Coming out of each drain we pulled a garland of roots — it was incredible! Two hours later the water was running, and we had a plan to keep the pipes clear in the future.
Dave is an honest, local, capable guy with fair pricing. I highly recommend him.
