Lucy’s Fluff N Fold Laundromat and Dry Cleaning

I started coming here a couple of years ago. The laundry mat on Chapman was getting too packed by the homeless and it got a bit shady when the bathrooms were permanently closed and the police number had to be painted on the wall in HUGE letters. Anyways, I really enjoy coming to this laundry mat. I like how the machines are up to date with technology. The machines should be kept a bit more clean. last time the machine looked dirty like if it had lard residue… Parking is ok. Lunch time is probably the worst time to come!

Ever since this place opened, I don’t want to go anywhere else. The staff is great, the machines work really well. I’ve even the business owner himself here a couple of times doing his own laundry and checking the place out. My favorite laundromat by far!

Just moved and work 2 jobs and overwhelmed with laundry and Lucy’s came to the rescue and worked with my schedule. I love the schedule

I used Lucy’s Laundry Service today for the first time, McKenzie explained everything perfectly. They unusually quote two day service, they did mine in 4 hrs! I will be back.

I’ve been coming to this location a few times now. It is very clean inside the washer average on your size load which is good. The parking is very small since it is shared. The only thing keeping me from giving more than a 3+ stars is every time I come and begin to dry the clothes it seems you really need to add $$ to the dryer to get a good dry. I only had a few shirts and even after inserting $ and waiting minutes my clothes was still wet. Also in a recent trip I made I washed my clothes and unfortunately who ever used the same exact washing machine as me must of used bleach and my clothes came out terrible.
Make sure to dry your clothes up to 2 – 3 times!
Also be prepared to hear a lot of loud gossip on the other side coming from employees.

What I notice about this place the washer n dryer works great. The place it’s self need to be clean more frequently by the staff that works here. Especially the bathroom. The people works here is loud and gossip way to much. They walk by you and stare at you like your not welcome. Also the people that pays for the service for their clothes to be done been sitting here over an hour in washing machine and I bet sitting in there it tends to have an odor, sad for those people. Seem like they don’t care about People’s Clothes!!!

Great location to wash your stuff. It is a little pricey, I admit, but it’s much cleaner and «safer» feeling than most laundromats. My biggest gripe is that there aren’t enough baskets/​carts on the floor. There’s only 5… with about 24 washers? And washers range from $ 4.20-$ 6 depending which you use. All dryers are .99c for 24 minutes. All card based… they provided reloadable cards at the «ATM» when you walk in on the left.

LOST $ 300 WORTH OF MY CLOTHES & REIMBURSED ME $ 77.22
Yep, that’s right. This laundromat LOST my clothes. They gave me directions to place my delicates (in this case 8 bras & a sweater) in a separate bag and label them clearly. I followed their directions exactly and provided them with a total of 4 bags of laundry. They completely lost my bag of delicates. I don’t even know how that is possible. Their agreement their customers have to sign makes them liable for only $ 150. I expected to be reimbursed $ 300 for the clothes they lost and refunded $ 72.78 for the charge they gave for for the clothes they did return due to their terrible service and all the stress they put me through.
Well, they didn’t agree to that, but I negotiated and they agreed to refund me the $ 72.78, reimburse me $ 150, and provide me with $ 150 worth of dry cleaning service (which I never plan to use since they are untrustworthy). Anyway, I agreed to this deal, and they asked me to wait 5 – 10 business days to receive the refund. Well that time passed, and of course, I did not receive my refund because apparently they couldn’t reach me, even though they had contacted me multiple times in order to negotiate this deal. So I called them back and they said they would refund me only $ 150 which included my $ 72.78 charge, so I was only reimbursed $ 77.22 (which I am still waiting to receive).
Criminals. They had responsibility for my clothes, they lost my clothes, and they chose to deny me full reimbursement for the value of my clothes.
Please DO NOT use this service! I don’t want anyone else to go through all of this!

Have taken my clothes about 5 times before I decided that it was not a good service. I complain the first time about the stains. The woman who is usually there give me a discount on my second service. The third service I just couldn’t find a place to wash my clothes and the last two I just needed my clothes clean but every time that I took my clothes to be cleaned they always had stains on them except for the dry cleaning service. The first service that I had gotten from them I spent well over $ 300 the next two times I spent over $ 200 and the last two times I spent a little bit over $ 100 each. It was not a good experience I will not be going here again.

HAUNTED??? its not haunted just want you to read this review… This Laundromat they will wash your clothing for you and its fairly clean facility. I cant really give any Laundromat a 4 or 5 stars given the nature of what service it provides.

We found this placed through my husband, it is cleaner than other places we’ve seen. We had to look for a nice little place to do our laundry because our dryer at home had suddenly stopped working.
We decided to give Lucy’s a try. Prices are a little high for both washing and drying. The washer is not too big but is decently sized, which i wont complain too much about. One downside of it is the folding tables. Lucys only has about three small folding spots available and kinda sucks waiting for people to fold their clothes to get started on yours. (shove all your clothes together in your car and fold/​hang them at home instead if that happens! lol jk: P)
Sushi place and 7 – 11 next door which makes it pretty hard to find parking sometimes. They share the small parking lot, which has about 20 spots to park in, so you might have to wait a little.
Overall, I kinda like this little spot. Hubby likes it because we’ve been there about 3 times and its usually quiet and peaceful.

Been here a couple of times and love that it’s not too crowded. But it does seem to be a bit pricey.

This place is the best idea ever! Cleanest laundry mat I’ve ever seen… and service is amazing! It’s so convenient, especially for ones that don’t have time. They fold your clothes and even put the clothes on hangers that need to be. They wrap your folded clothes in plastic also… the prices are fantastic as well!

So glad I found this place and it’s just around the corner from my house. I’m a massage therapist with my own business. I was washing & drying the sheets at home but after a while my business got BUSY and my days off were filled with washing & drying sheets. It got to be too much — it was all day laundry! I barely had time for anything else, and I was also sending my washer & dryer to an early grave. :(
It’s $ 1.32 per pound when you drop off. My first bag was a whopping 28 pounds! The sheets were washed, dried, folded and wrapped in plastic. I have been dropping off on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings and picking up Monday or Tuesday mornings. It’s been a little over a month of dropping off my laundry. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have some time for myself again. The ladies are super friendly and funny. If you leave a tip, they will determine who actually washed, dried & folded the order and it goes to them.
Thank you Lucy’s, you have saved me from endless laundry. Last week I dropped off 43 lbs!!! OMG! Business is good for me = more business for Lucy’s. Thanks again ladies! You do a great job

The machines wash the cloths really good but bathroom messy floor messy trash are full I have to make sure the washer is clean before I put in my cloths it ain’t that packed where is the sign that says free wifi manager had to message me for password I come back because I like the way it washes my cloths and I could wash up to 4 loads at a time

Came here because I needed to do a lot of laundry. I had a couple questions and the ladies at the front desk were SUPER nice! They gave me the wifi password and helped me with my questions.
I thought I had a lot of clothes but the washers are HUGE!

So you have to purchase a reloadable card to use the machines. The card will cost $ 1 and you can pay with credit card or cash. TIP if you pay w cash you get bonus bucks on your card.
The machines are easy to use. You pick the setting and the lowest setting which would be cold water and will be slightly cheaper.
Another tip, if u register your card on their touch screen machine you get $ 1 bonus buck loaded to your card.

Machines are nice. They have a good amount of them too. Pretty rare to find 80lb (8 load) washers that wash closes in under 30 minutes! Only complaint is the dryers are little pricey compared to others and well the workers/​lady isn’t very friendly or welcoming. Bathrooms are free to use for customers, just ask the workers for the code for entry. Prices for the washer machines are fair, especially with the quality of machines. The fluff and fold service seems reasonable too with 1.25 $ per lb, though I did not try it. The location is next to a 7eleven, parking is hard to find if busy and good luck carrying lots of laundry from the spaces closer to the 7eleven. The pay system is electronic or «laundry card» so pretty much instead of using coins, bring cash or CREDIT CARD/​DEBIT to purchase and load your «laundry card» with. The credit card/​debit card option has a $ 5 minimum. The cheapest washing machine is 1.99 $ and the most expensive is $ 7.49. Dryers are $ 1 for 24 minutes and they hold at least 4 loads in them. Total time laundry would take if start machines all at once is approximately 1 hour, 1.5 tops.
For sure one of the top laundromat I have been to or used. Definitely will come back and probably be a regular user!

Best laundry mat ever… got $ 2 added to my laundry card for being a first time customer, and another $ 1 for registering my card. I can wash 6 loads in 1 machine for $ 6.50. I just saved me a few hours compared to using my complex’s laundry mat… which each washer reluctantly fits 2 loads :/​And get this… $ 1 to dry upto 10 loads of laundry.
To wash all of my clothes, sheets, and comforter — It’ll cost me about $ 15.00 and I can get all of it done in about an hour. Very, very impressive.
