Horrible customer service. The sales rep David called at the time of a scheduled appointment and was trying to avoid coming out for measurements from the moment he called. Very rude, hung up on me when I asked if he was going to show up for the appointment. Tried calling the main office in Anaheim and they didn’t care said I could send him a text. Find another company, these people don’t care if they waste your time.

David came to give us an estimate. He was on time and very professional. The price was very fair. The installation guys were very nice and kept their cool when our door turned out to be a bit of a handful to remove. The new door and bedroom windows are GREAT!!! I can sleep in now without hearing all the dogs barking outside. I would recommend them. Thanks, Première One!

Don’t know where to begin. So disappointed in our dealings with David Martinez. He claims to guarantee quality, satisfaction, dependability, integrity and superior service. None of these claims have been our reality in the year and a half since we ordered our door. It has been a nightmare that is ongoing.
Keep searching — don’t do business with David Martinez

I found a large chip from the jamb/​casing that had been glued back on. I called and was told it «fine» and doesn’t affect the integrity of the door. Ugh, really?! I’m more concerned about the lack of workmanship and hiding it. They said they would send someone to «fill in the hole». Not the kind of answer I’m expecting after what I paid for this door. We ordered our door from Dave after meeting him at OC Swap meet. He came over, did the measurements, gave us our options with stain colors and door handles. After agreeing to the design and cost, he told us 6 – 8 weeks for install date. It was simple as that and couldn’t be more happier with the installation and the door came out better than expected. The installer guys did a great job and were very professional in their work and cleanup. Thanks Dave for the honest work and your excellent team. After all the remodeling I’ve done to the house we bought, this is the only contractor who actually did the work right the first time and on-​time.

We have worked with David for window replacements and doors. It’s been several years now and we still get compliments on our front door. We save $‘s annually on our electrical with reduced air conditioning bills with our double payned windows. He also did a kitchen remodel at my sister in laws where I wish I had her kitchen every time I see it. Yes the door was pricey but well worth the quality, and the windows were extremely reasonable. He walked us through his warehouse and showed us the glass options. Now I’m considering a kitchen remodel… we will see!

We just had a front door installed and ordered by Premier One Doors and Windows. And it look AMAZING!
Not only was David Martinez a very nice person to work with, he made great suggestions that we are glad we went with.
Also, Lisa who calls and let’s you know that the door is in and ready to install, kept me posted on anything that was coming up. They actually wanted to install the door a couple of weeks ago but because I was in charge of our 40^th high school reunion, and things were really hectic and they were nice enough to schedule a later date for me. So glad I waited.
Then they said they would be there between 9 – 10 on Wednesday. They came at 9:20 and that was perfect. Lisa also called the night before to remind me and so glad she did.
Guillermo came to install with his dad Guillermo and his brother Stephan. They were the nicest and cleanest workers I have ever had. They left the place looking cleaner then when they came. And a pleasure to have at my home.
The door looks amazing. See the photo I put on this review. I forgot to take a before pic but I am going to have Lisa send me that one and I will post a before pic. But the after is beautiful. Thanks Premier One. So glad we saw you at the home and garden show. Great job.

I am not even sure where to start with this company. David is very nice, but when it comes to quality of work and honoring his warranty it is another story. I was specific in my request that I wanted doors to be used as courtyard gates. He told me that would be fine and the doors would work for that purpose. Within two weeks the doors turned white due to the moisture soaking into them. Now, about a year later, they are actually rotting from the inside out. I have contacted the company at least 6 times times and he has explained that it is my fault for not waxing the door and the fact that the doors got wet. I paid just about $ 5000 for a set of doors that a year later are rotten. I was just going to let it go as a lesson learned, however, it looks like they are not repairable and I may be taking him to small claims court. Please please do not work with this company, and save yourself the headache.

Very unhappy. We would never use this Company again. We were told we would have our door in approx 8 weeks. 4 ½ months later we finally got it! Yes, it looks great. But customer service should be a priority as well. Calls were unanswered and the office gal gave misinformation on a few occasions. Keep looking.

I’ve seen the work done by Premier One and they are top notch. My parents are in their 70’s and live in a private home tract in Cerritos. Because of that, they most often get over priced bids on work they need to have done at their home.
They were looking to replace their front door and received a few bids. I told them to make sure that they did their homework and not accept or put a deposit on anything until I had a chance to check out the contractors. Some of the bids were very over priced, but the bid from Premier One was fair and the reviews were outstanding. They also has a B B B rating of A+ which I really liked.
The door they picked was installed and beautiful. Lots of communication about the delivery and installation with David and his staff so every aspect went smoothly. My parents get raves from the neighbors about their new front door and are very happy and satisfied customers. Highly recommend Premier One.

Before I say anything more about Premier One Improvements Inc., I’d like to remind anyone checking out this company to look at the very bottom of this page where it says «Reviews not recommended at this time.» Then scroll down until you see all the 5-​star ratings this company got for their hard work and fair prices.
Sounds like Rick C. had a terrible experience and I’m sorry to hear that. But there are two sides to every coin. From what I read it sounds like Rick thought if he complained loudly enough David M. would just give him the door for free or for ½ price. Unfortunately, in any biz there are crooked customers, too.
That said, my experience with Premier One was 180 degrees different. I didn’t meet David at the swap meet. I was looking for a company that could MAKE windows that would look exactly like the 86 year old windows that needed replacement. I met with several window companies; each one wanted to change the look of my windows and my house. David was the only one who recognized and respected my wish to maintain architectural integrity when renovating my 1926 Mission Revival home.
Premier One not only replaced all 28 French-​style windows, they also replaced our back door, coated the house with this amazing stuff that means never having to paint again (bug proof, fire proof, etc), gutted our kitchen and completely remodeled it, removed all the «popcorn» ceilings and plastered, painted every single room in the house, upgraded all the electrical and remodeled one of our bathrooms.
I had other work done on our house, too, but not by Premier One. Why? Because David M. was honest in telling me that pools and refinishing wood floors were not their forte.
Naturally, any time you have renovations or remodeling done, there are going to be snags beyond David’s control. Lisa (office) was always good about returning my calls and giving me a heads up if worker’s schedules changed, etc.
Our project was not without some headaches. There was one particular worker we had probems with. Once we discussed our issues with Lisa and David, the problem was solved; we never saw that worker again.
Call Premier One and at least talk to David. Or go see him at the OC Swap Meet and ask to see the pics of the job on the 1926 Mission Revival. You will be stunned by the beautiful job they did.

We purchased our front entry door from Premier One. Dave was very professional as he showed us his portfolio with all the jobs he has done with pictures and references. He explained all the stain colors, glass designs and hardware. There was no pressure whatsoever to sign an agreement during our initial meeting.
I researched and his price was fair and couldn’t find anyone who can match his prices based on the level of service he was providing. We ordered our front door and were promised 4 – 6 weeks for delivery and installation. I received multiple updates from Lisa as pertained to the status of our door. She is very pleasant to deal with and provided us excellent customer service.
The door arrived exactly in 6 weeks as Lisa set up the appointment 10 days ahead of time.
The guys that performed the installation were the best contractor I ever dealt with. They worked from 10:30 am to 5:45 pm until everything was absolutely perfect. The gentleman Mr. Lee and his helper Patrick were perfectionist. They definitely met and exceeded my expectations. I pay a lot of attention to details and they absolutely did an awesome job.
My experience with this transaction was excellent from beginning to the end. I’d definitely use Premier One for my future window and door needs.
