SunSpark Yoga is a collective of inspiring, experienced teachers that ignite community in a fun, non-​competitive environment located in the Old Towne Orange Historic District within walking distance from the Orange Circle, Chapman University & Orange Metrolink. We offer a wide variety of yoga classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced, with Yoga Alliance Certified teachers that blend a wide variety of experiences & lineages. This provides a unique opportunity to explore & practice different styles of alignment, breathwork & sequencing & ultimately lead you to a personal practice that is unique & perfect for you.

SunSpark Yoga was founded by Stacey & Ernie Schuerman in April 2012 by their desire to share a love of yoga, mindfulness & community with others. They found their perfect location Orange, California in an historic building of Old Towne Orange.

Business Owner

Stacey Parker Schuerman, E-​RYT500, Co-​Founder & Co-​Owner of SunSpark Yoga & Certified Karma Kids Yoga Instructor, has been practicing yoga since 2002, and has over 6 years experience teaching yoga to adults and children of all ages, including Beginner’s Yoga, Gentle Yoga Stretch, Foundational Flow, Yoga Nidra Meditation and Vinyasa Flow. She studied with Erika Faith Calig of Cloud Nine Yoga for her Master Yoga RYT-​500, Johnny Gillespie of Empowered Yoga in Wilmington, DE for her RYT-​200, and Jennifer Fink Oppenheimer with Karma Kids Yoga. Additionally, Stacey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Business from Hendrix College, and a solid retail buying/​planning/​marketing background as a results-​oriented, entrepreneurial merchant with over 17+ years’ experience managing the retail lifecycle of sourcing, product development, financial planning and marketing.

They got 5 stars from everyone because they deserve it. This place is a gem. There is something for everyone. I lived in NY for many years where yoga is up there with cardio, yet they can tone it down just right at Sun Spark. Great people, too. I do the gentle stretch everyday. It is great for my muscles and it is a great meditation at the same time. It starts my day off on a very positive and relaxed note.

Excellent studio, it’s so pretty and peaceful inside. I found a great deal they offered to first timers (unlimited two weeks for only 25 $) and your two weeks does not start until you choose to come in and take a class. Everybody I met (owners, instructors, and students) are very welcoming and kind. They have a few items for sale that are worth checking out, on top of that they have mats you can use if you don’t have one. Check out all their different classes they have there and do yourself a favor and join SunSpark.

As a total yoga newbie Sunspark was really welcoming. Stacey and Ernie are incredibly personable and are committed to creating a great environment. It’s obvious that this place is a labor of love to them. The membership price is very affordable considering the variety of classes they offer. I’ve been a member for several months and have yet to explore all of their offerings. I really enjoy Suzanne and Stacey’s classes, they both have great playlists to practice to!

This is my favorite studio I have ever visited. Everyone is so authentic and unique, no yoga intimidation, if legs up the wall or child’s pose is all you can do that day, that is embraced. I can’t say enough great things about the place, the owners, the teachers, or other students. Awesome — give them a visit.

I love this friendly, welcoming, family-​owned (hi, Stacey and Ernie!) studio. I have been a member for the past 18 months, and just found out I have participated in over 200 classes. I find the best mental, spiritual, and physical benefits from yoga come from a regular practice; I do my best to make 2 – 3 classes per week. The teachers are also staff members, and are all terrific, always willing to stay after class ends to answer questions and demonstrate poses. Stacey and Ernie offer very competitive rates, with special deals for seniors and students. What a wonderful reason to spend time in Old Towne Orange!

This review is way overdue… but I really wanted to share how awesome this place is!
When I used live in OC, I was at this place every. single. day!
This yoga studio is one of the best yoga studio I ever been to and practiced!
They have many different types of classes to choose from and even yoga beginners can come in and they will be super sweet to guide you through the practice.
My favorite classes were Stacey’s Hatha Flow, Marie’s Meditative Flow, and Jodi’s Restorative.
There are many street parking available and there is always a spot at the parking lot (free) across the street. During weekend and lunch time might get a little busy but if you allow time for you to find a parking, you will.
I really miss this place!!! Oh, I forgot to mention that Stacey’s Yoga Nidra is amazing. Everyone falls asleep by the end of the class… I wish I can take that class every night…

This is my favorite studio in and around town. The whole place, the owners, and yogis feel super personable, welcoming, and have a great vibe. I just get stoked when I’m there. Great variety of classes — been digging Chuckies Wed night flow — great balance of super inviting spirituality /​philosophy and active poses. The lighting, sound system, décor, props are dialed in and provide a great head space (something you realize really matters when you practice at a studio that isn’t as dialed in). Super grateful to have this spot in my neighborhood. Eat at Byblos Café down the street afterward if they’re open.

Dropped in for an Acroyoga workshop yesterday and it was one of the most fun yoga class I’ve ever taken. I look forward to visiting this yoga studio regularly. The owners were both in the workshop and were both very nice. I called in beforehand, having never taken Acroyoga before, and Stacey was very nice, patient, gave me the information I needed to feel comfortable, and quickly signed me up on the phone over my lunch break. Thank you!

I am not kidding you there is no place better for yoga! The atmosphere is tranquil. Prices are affordable. Love the owners! They are a married couple that totally dig each other, and have this great combination of zen/​fire about then. Hmmmm so maybe like yoga kind of zen with an edge! lol You gotta check it out! ;)

The numerous five star reviews for SunSpark Yoga are well earned!
After moving to Orange last year, I wanted to find a yoga studio that was close, affordable and authentic. Now that I live in Irvine again I still make the commute twice a week to practice here because it is that good.
The atmosphere of the studio is beautiful, clean and has an organic industrial feel. The owners are wonderfully kind people who treat everyone like family.
The studio provides all the tools you need for your practice including mats, straps, blocks, and blankets. They offer a broad range of teachers who are very well educated and trained, all of which have varying personality types. In every class, the teachers give modifications and adjust you when needed.
I have only had trouble with parking two times in my entire year practicing, usually on the weekends in the early morning, but overall parking is a non-​issue.
I recommend this studio to everyone who has an interest in yoga. In my eyes, it is truly the best yoga studio in Orange County.

I moved to OC from Corona about a year ago, and was in need of another great yoga studio after growing my practice at Just Yoga in Corona. I’ve been practicing yoga for about 5 years now, and this place was exactly what I was looking for. The classes and place of business style was very similar to my home studio and I really loved that there was a lot of vinyasa and flow style yoga classes to choose from.
They had a great new customer deal, 2 weeks for only $ 25! I was able to explore different classes, and it was so easy to find a timeslot that was right for my schedule. I’m also a college student and took advantage of their AMAZING student offer for unlimited classes. It was a no-​brainer, I was hooked!
I absolutely love the studio location itself too. It’s small and personal, and all the instructors including the owners are so warm and welcoming. It’s my home away from home. I practice 4 times a week, and love that there is so much variety with class choice and styles. They offer sound meditation and Kundalini styles as well. Thank you Sun Spark Yoga!

The energy, the staff and the classes are amazing.
I recently moved further away but will still make the drive because no other studio compares.
I recommend trying out the week package they have available, to see what instructor and classes are the right fit for you.

I signed up for a 2 week trial and am really enjoying my experience here so far. The owners are a pleasure to be around and all the instructors are terrific. They challenge the class, while allowing people to go at their own pace (which is great for beginners like me). They’re friendly and encouraging.
The studio is small, which I love. The classes are intimate and the place is very clean. The décor is great, even the bathroom is newly remodeled and nicely decorated. There’s plenty of street parking and parking lots close by. I would definitely recommend this place. :)

Can’t believe I haven’t written about this studio yet.
I am so grateful for the mindful community that Stacey and Ernie have created together out of their passion and love for yoga– ALL parts of yoga. Before immersing myself into the practice of yoga (you can’t help it at Sunspark), I used to think that it was a way to lose weight and maybe relax a little. But this studio and the people are naturally nurturing, encouraging, and accepting. I have been to many other studios and types of classes but I can really say that this studio is one of a kind. Even living in Las Vegas for the last two years, I always want to go back. So much love for this studio and everyone there.
Highly, HIGHLY, STRONGLY recommend.

— I’ve practiced yoga for 5 years and attended classes at SunSpark for 2 months. I pay about $ 60 monthly for unlimited classes and practice 4 times a week.
People
— The owners are both professional and warm. Instructors, especially Sarah and Marie, impress me. They retain distinct teaching styles and offer modifications often. Other students are usually kind and treat the space with respect. Once in a while a student will annoy me by moving my mat without asking me. However, such behavior seldom occurs.
Recommendation
— I recommend this place, especially if your work schedule allows you to take classes after 5pm.

The teachers here are all wonderful, knowledgeable people. Something I’ve come to appreciate after attending classes at other studios while traveling for work. All the instructors at SunSpark are incredibly informed, know the proper techniques for every workout and are always willing to help you improve. It’s not something you can get at just any studio, which is why I’ve come to love my experience here.
Bottomline: if you’re in the OC and looking for a top notch yoga/​Pilates studio, this is the place.

Yoga is very personal and finding the right studio with the right people/​instructors can be challenging especially with all the studios popping up. Sunspark has everything, great owners who greet you, very talented instructors, beautiful calming studio, local community feel and great prices. Whether you are just starting off or advanced, they make you feel welcome.
Every time my mom comes up or a friend joins me they love it. I took a friend last night to the Restorative Sound Healing by Simon and she couldn’t believe how great it was.
They also have great jewelry, clothes and other items. They offer 2 weeks unlimited for $ 25 which you can try all the different classes to see which is right for you. My personal favorites are Simon, Stacey and Renee.
If you are looking for a studio, Sunspark is the place to try. Located right in the circle and you can walk to shops and restaurants.
Love you guys! Thank you for making Old Towne Orange even better.

This is a thoughtful and nice yoga studio, with plenty of good teachers. The one huge drawback is an utter lack of parking during the weekdays, as well as on Saturday mornings. If I were management, I’d work out a deal with the American Legion across the street, and get available parking there. As it is, paying in advance for a class is something I deeply regretted. I paid, went, and couldn’t park.
Update: The Owners have written a hilariously pissy response. I called in as I was circling. That’s why they have no recollection of my coming in –which would be impossible as I couldn’t find parking. Sorry, I’ve just downgraded them to 2 stars for their pissy response, and whining over a 3 star review. Sorry, but criticism is part of life and business. If you can’t take it, I suggest that yoga is doing nothing for you.
