Established in 2011.

The Dizzy Daisy was founded in 2011 by Dana Rice and her husband Daniel. Both Southern California natives, Dana has over 15 years experience as a floral designer and manager.

An Orange County native, I discovered my passion for design at an after school florist job at age 18. I have worked my way up from washing buckets to owning and running my own flower shop in Orange, CA. Additionally, I am an Instructional Assistant for Special Education at Laguna Beach High School. I am passionate about sharing joy with others — whether it be through laughing with my students or making floral dreams a reality for customers (on any budget!).

I ordered these flowers on Friday afternoon, and they arrived to my mom’s house the next day! (My desired day) The online delivery process is also very easy and quick. They’re far better quality than any big box flower delivery service and less expensive!!! You can tell they put time and love into each bouquet. I’ll definitely only be using Dizzy Daisy from now on.

Excellent, beautiful arrangement sent via Bloom Nation! I’m also a florist (not in the area) and wanted to be sure that something reasonably priced with a lot of actual blooms not just greens was sent to my aunt for her birthday. The online ordering via BloomNation was great. I live in Charlotte, NC but I am from California so I often send my Aunts or Sisters flowers for occasions. It was my Aunts birthday, so I went online, chose an arrangement and ordered it all via their Unilocal page.
Dizzy Daisy called me to let me know what flowers were in bloom and I told them my Aunts fave colors etc, they were very fast and responsive and my Aunt loved the arrangement that she got delivered that day.
It could not have been easier and I love the hand delivery with the arrangement already in a nice vase and everything. It’s such a nice presentation.

Great job guys! I just wanted to give my pretty lady somethings nice for no reason, that’s just how I am. So I called this place and asked them to deliver some flowers and I wanted to spend $ 50 total with tax and delivery. It was delivered quickly and the flowers were beautiful! I was caught in last minute mode on Valentine’s Day and early morning searches led me to The Dizzy Daisy. It’s a small shop and I missed it on the initial drive by.
It’s an interesting place, has several items from local artists and crafts people for sale while you wait. Considering I dropped in on their Super Bowl of days, I was hoping to score whatever I could get.
Instead I walked away with a beautiful arrangement of roses and flowers, fresh, top notch. I really pressed the envelope too by not going with one of the already made displays. The florists were in back working hard, but they came from the back and delivered for me! The workers are friendly, and it didn’t take a long time at all.
I thought the prices of the selections on display were reasonable, but I added my own wishes which of course increased the cost. Not a problem because I got what I asked for.
Glad I found this little gem.

Back in August my brother-​in-​law ordered a magnificent huge arrangement for me with incredible succulents! I told my husband who is notorious for ordering flowers for me and my mom on Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day to use The Dizzy Daisy going forward. Well, my Valentine’s arrangement arrived yesterday and it’s fabulously different, fresh and unique! My mom said hers is quite beautiful. Thank you for your creativity!

First time here, but not the last. Needed a local florist to provide a bridal bouquet for my soon-​to-​be daughter-in-law.and also one for each of her bridesmaids. I had a photo of exactly what she wanted, and not a lot of lead time. The ladies at this florist could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The bouquets were gorgeous and the bride was thrilled! Thank you!

The best florist in town, they are professional, friendly, and have great prices. They helped me even though I showed up later in the evening and put together a beautiful arrangement. Thank you for the beautiful cross. You are my go to floral company: you did my wedding and I have purchased numerous bouquets from you. You are my first choice for floral company and again you came through. I chose an arrangement from your website and did some personal alterations. The arrangement was beautiful and brought many smiles during a difficult time. It was a piece of art. Your tenderness in the shop and with the arrangement will not be forgotten nor overlooked. She went into the ground with a beautiful purple cross as a blanket.

Ordered online after hours on a Thursday, order was delivered as requested the following Saturday evening. The flowers were great quality and their presentation was excellent, and the price very good. I’ve had poor experiences with big name online florists, but this was a great experience! Give this shop a try.

Called The Dizzy Daisy at 9:30am on a Tuesday for an emergency FUNERAL wreath. We had just found out, very last minute, about this memorial ceremony and knew it was a LONG shot to get flowers to the Church by NOON! I called anyway and DANA was beyond helpful and accommodating. She did a fabulous job and managed to deliver them ahead of the noon deadline. Granted the Church was only a few miles away, but STILL, I am VERY grateful for this wonderful florist coming thru for us. The wreath was absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much Dana, you are awesome girl!!! You can see a photo of the Yellow Circle of Life wreath I have uploaded. I highly recommend this fantastic and HELPFUL florist!!!

I called in on a weekday morning for same day pickup. I’m not sure who I spoke to over the phone but they were so polite and helpful! I needed a bouquet of two dozen roses and they were beautiful and only about $ 35! My girlfriend loves them! Thanks Dizzy Daisy!

Best local floral shop in town! I have gotten flowers from them about 4 times now and my girlfriend has always been impressed by the arrangement and the quality of the flowers.
They are a small ‘mom and pop’ shop but still have very low prices. I have used FTD and Conroy in the past and I would say The Dizzy Daisy blows them out of the water in both price and quality. I usually ask for a custom arrangement which you just give them a price range and their florist will design a beautiful arrangement based on occasion or flower choice.

I recently hosted a party and had a vision of white flowers (roses, hydrangeas, etc…) in oversized mason jars for every table. Since I can barely keep my backyard plants and flowers alive, let alone arrange them beautifully in vases, I let the flower professionals bring my vision to life.
The Dizzy Daisy is an adorable flower shop and the ladies who work there are very sweet, accommodating, and easy to work with. I provided them with 6 oversized mason jars and gave them a budget for each one. When I picked up my arrangements on the day of the event, I was blown away. They were beyond my expectation and looked gorgeous on the tables. I surprised a few of my guests with one of the mason jars at the end of the event and they were thrilled. The flowers also lasted a little more than a week — which is more than I can say about the flowers I usually buy!

Found this place here on Unilocal.I needed something last minute, just some flowers (not roses) to give to my girl. Not a special occasion, but just one of those things.
I came in and the woman working there came out from the back and asked me what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend and then she went to work.
In a few minutes I had a beautiful bouquet of flowers, exactly what I’d imagined in my head.
I thought the place was very cool and I’ll definitely use them again.
