I have been going to Unique Nails for at least the last 8 or 9 years and I am impressed every time. Not only are their nail technicians incredibly talented but the facility is very well managed and clean. Today, the owner happened to be there and there were a couple of little girls getting their nails done. He was so sweet and attentive. Most people dismiss kids with all of their questions and chatter, but not this man. He was fantastic. I highly recommend Unique Nails. I continue to be in awe of the talent of these nail artists.

First time here and I will definitely be coming back. Mary was super friendly and made sure I left with perfect nails. Loved the amount of designs they had to choose from.

I’ve been coming here for years. Every design is done by hand and is truly a work of art. As with any salon, there are techs who are more talented than others but overall the staff is pretty consistent. My pedicures last forever, they do not water down their polish and the girls are always welcoming. Not sure what happened with these other reviews but I will say that sometimes you get back what you put out.

I really love unique designs and was looking for a nail place that offered more than just flowers. My friend brought me here and I have never gone anywhere else since. They have so many fun designs for every occasion and I get so many compliments on my nails. The ladies there are so nice and they always make sure I am comfortable and offer me coffee or water. They are all very talented so you can’t go wrong with any technician that you get. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Unique Nails has been the only salon I’ve gone to for 7 years now and I won’t go anywhere else. They always make you feel welcome and greet you with huge smile. They have an incredible amount of design choices and recreate anything you ask them to perfectly. Unique Nails has become the perfect place to escape to and I always enjoy my time at this salon!

Nancy is the best!!! Her pedicures and her designs are awesome. The selection of designs can be so overwhelming too many to choose from… Totally worth my 40 minute drive to visit Nancy…

Horrible service at this place. Find somewhere else to go, the ladies are rude and very unprofessional! Don’t critique their work or they go off! I will never ever go back and will warn all my friends in the Orange area!

I’ll start this review by saying that my niece left this nail salon CRYING this morning after being yelled at by 4 adult women because she didn’t like her service. The youngest girl working in this salon is obnoxious, rude and just plain disrespectful. I actually had to tell the manager to stop speaking to my niece because she was yelling in her face. We came in for mani pedi’s and I picked one of their fancy designs where every nail is different. My niece just wanted a simple gel manicure with a rose on both thumbs and toes. After convincing her to switch from the black color she wanted to a grey so that the rose would show… the rose came out bad(looked like flames). So she asked her to take it off. That’s when everything went horribly wrong. The younger girl said she wouldn’t do the rose because my niece wanted it closer to the nail bed instead of on the tip, after she painted her nails in grey gel specifically to do that rose(later she lied about saying that when the we got the manager involved) Speaking of the manager… She charged me $ 25 for my nieces service and had her girls start removing the polish. While I’m at the register paying this idiotic fee they all converged on my niece and start arguing with her which escalates to yelling. I tell them to speak to me instead and my niece dashes off to a corner because she doesn’t want to cry… The awful younger girl actually has the nerve to LAUGH at her!!! Then the Manager wants me to pay more money for the gel nails because I want to get my niece out of there and it takes 30 minutes to get it off. My niece doesn’t want them touching her!!! They were just yelling at her. I will never come to this place again. I think I’m still in shock… I cannot believe that just happened. To add insult to injury… her ugly grey gel nails have BUBBLES. I’m gonna try to add a picture so you can see.

Worst nail service I have ever received. I stepped away from work just to get my gel nail polish removed, and have my nails buffed. I just wanted them to look decent(polish was very worn and I have not had time to get a manicure from my usual salon) they were very nice to begin with, but they applied very little acetone to remove the polish, I get gel manicures on a regular basis and know the routine. They remove the foil and as the tech is scrapping away at hard polish, the tool is being pushed into my cuticle. Incredibly uncomfortable. Then on my ring finger she shoved it in so hard, caused a cut and I’m still bleeding 20 min later. There was no apology, they acted as if it was nothing and still poured acetone and alcohol on my finger. They couldn’t even file my nails straight, I had to take the file and do it myself. They were incredibly crooked before I took over. On top of that I told them in the beginning I wanted it just filed slightly to smooth out the tip and not loose the length, since my nails weren’t in bad shape before. I think I would have been better off just waiting a week until I could go to my normal salon. On top of it all I paid $ 14 which is half of a gel manicure. DONOTUSETHISSALON

My sister and I have been getting our mani/pedis here for years. Today we arrived at 6:30pm and were turned down because they close at 7:00pm. As we exited the shop a woman came in, was greeted by the same nail tech who told us it was too late to receive our nail services, and proceeded to choose her nail designs. We were turned away but she was not.

I really like this place. It helps to have an appointment so you don’t have to wait a long time if people walk in all at once. They are really talented nail artists — I have never been anywhere with the huge selection of designs and they turn out so adorable. Strangers stop me all over the place asking where I got my nails done. I drive all the way from Studio City to get them done for special events. The atmosphere of the salon is just okay — nothing pretty about the décor, they don’t offer you a soda or water like the salon near my home. But they do give you the darn cutest nails you ever saw in your life! I went to a Britney Spears meet & greet and she RAVED about my nails!

I come here whenever I want fun designs on my nails. The have limitless design options to match any holiday or theme. All of the ladies are creative nail artists! It’s $ 12 extra for all designs on your nails. Not a bad deal, considering their pedicures usually last me 3 months or until my nails fully grow out. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and it seems like they cleaned the place up to look nicer. They offer nice snacks and drinks for free to all customers now too which I thought was a nice touch. I think this place can get kind of pricy especially with all the«add ons»(massage char, nail buffing, hot oil massage) but it’s nice to treat yo’ self once in a while.

Ok so first the good: they really do awesome designs. I get so many compliments on my toes when I get a pedicure here. Literally strangers will chase me down and demand to know where I got my toes done. They can pretty much do any design — they are super creative. Now for the bad: the people who work here are so unpleasant. They try for the upsell over and over again. They will ask you maybe 6 or 7 times if you want a manicure if you’re just there for a pedicure, no matter how many times you firmly tell them«no thank you.» One time, it got so bad that after I politely told them«no thank you» a dozen times, one of the women took my hand and began cutting my nails anyway. It’s fine to try to upsell, but it’s really irritating when they won’t back off. In addition, they are pretty rough and aggressive with the pedicures. I think the final straw was when they cut my friend and caused her to bleed. When we addressed this with the manager, she responded by loudly blaming my friend, saying she just had toes that bled. Really? Ultimately, most of my friends refuse to come back here with me :) so I only rarely go when I’m desperate for a cute design.

I used to come here a lot because they had lots of design choices. But the last few times I didn’t have a great experience. Their customer service has really gone down the toilet. They are rude and always push the most expensive treatments. They don’t take their time. I always felt rushed. I won’t be coming back.

This is the place to go before your vacation when you need to have an awesome design on your toes. Yes they’ll incessantly pressure you into a more costly pedicure, just say no if you don’t want it. It’s $ 28 for the basic pedicure with designs on all 10 toes. The massage chairs are awesome and there are so many designs to choose from.

My mom and I used to come to unique nails ALL the time, we’d never go anywhere else… until now. I went to get some almond shaped acrylics, wanting them painted turquoise and gold, and brought in my own charms to put on(I was having a themed bday party and wanted to match). After horribly applying my acrylics – see pictures – I kept asking why they looked that way and to fix them…“it’s the way your nails are shaped”. Seriously? I’ve had acrylics a million times, never like this. Fast forward to her refusing to apply the charms unless I get $ 12 extra gel polish – who knows why… I agree but they don’t have the colors I want! After arguing for 5 minutes about how horrible they look, I end up walking out with un-painted, shoddy acrylics, and they charged me full price! Not to mention the owner and 2 other girls were disgustingly slurping noodles and loudly talking/laughing BAREFOOT on the spa chairs, SOUNPROFESSIONAL!!! They will never receive any business from myself, friends, nor family again. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I’ve never been disappointed with how my nails turned out but unfortunately I am so disappointed with the service that I’m finding a new salon. It is extremely over priced and they don’t tell you the real price until it all ads up when they are finished. She cut my nails way shorted than I asked because she messed up on one. Also while she was sitting not even a foot from me she was speaking Vietnamese so loud that I couldn’t even hear my own thoughts, no matter what language she was speaking it’s still rude but even more rude when you don’t know what the person is saying.

Worst gel nail I have ever gotten. Some of my nails look like they have top coat others look disgusting and dirty matte. I asked for a milky color, what do I get? «We don’t have that color»… Then why is it in the selection. She showed me another color and it was nice so I said yes. The color looks so clear, it looks like I simply put clear nail polish on my nail. She wasn’t very organized either. The lady didn’t clean my nails with a clean cloth because after the first coat I told her there was lint on my right thumb. She saw it and said she couldnt tell. I asked her to redo my right thumb. It is also overpriced. I feel like my little cousin could have done this for me. She didnt even use acetone to remove my nail polish, she used a nail buffer. I can still see some of my nail color underneath. I was so disgusted and upset that when it was time to pay, I just paid and left. Warning to all ladies thinking of going in: DON’T DOIT.
