Crew here is great! They play good music, usually the top sporting events, and always a few compelling brews to sample. They have weekly brewery takeovers with free schwag and tastings. No food, but they allow you to bring in food from any of the many places in the same mall.

This place have everything for 1 person to ask for or a group. Not only do they have 30 beers on tap but they do a fantastic job of keeping a fresh assortment or all the major crowd pleasers. Whether you are a Cider drinker, stout drinker, IPA drinker, Heff drinker or prefer a glass of wine. They have got you covered. Those and so many more are always available for tasting. If you are not sure about what you want to drink you can ask for a sample and you will have one in your hands before you blink. The staff are very knowledgeable and want to serve you to ensure that you have a great beer that suits your personal taste. Along with the stellar beer assortment that rotates through the taps they also have a variety of fun games like shuffle board, life sized jenga and other fun games for friends to enjoy while enjoying their favorite beer. That’s not all though. They also have a fantastic Yoga class every Saturday morning at 10:30 that is an hour of Yoga with a free drink afterwards for $ 15. There are some great people that were involved with putting this wonderful place together and you absolutely have to meet them. They will welcome you in with open arms and do everything they can to ensure that you have a positive experience that leaves you wanting to not only come back but come back often and tell your friends. Everyone I have introduced to the Growler Run has thanked me for sharing this place with them. If you are on the fence about giving the Growler run a chance then don’t be. Just go and enjoy yourself. You can thank me later.

Maybe cause the owner is my brother Rusty Caldwell and that he knows his way around beer and wine in Oregon that his stuff is great I didn’t get a bad beer and the atmosphere is so down home and friendly that the same people keep coming everyday Rusty and his staff knows everyone by name he will try to help you find the right beer or wine by the pint or by the growler I give him 5 stars

Love this place! They treat you like family in there where you always feel welcome. The beers are always good with a great variety as the taps are always rotating. It’s been a great addition and the first establishment to bring good beer to Oregon city!

We are building a home in Oregon City but are used to downtown culinary options. Once we found The Growler Run, we were delighted that we had an option in our new town and even more delighted about the«Minors Permitted» sign in the front window since we have a 2.5 year old son and we could grab a bite with him and bring it over to enjoy a pint with our lunch. Except when we tried it, we were informed actually Minors are only allowed to fill your growler and then you must leave. So… minor’s actually AREN’T allowed — the sign is misleading. Since we are building SOCLOSE we would have brought this location a lot of business as my husband is an IPA connoisseur and we frequently go out to sample new brews. We will take our business elsewhere. Just because you have a child doesn’t mean you stop liking good beer.

Interesting… I haven’t been in for a few months now, and I must say, I’m significantly disappointed. First off, on a Friday night, the door and Unilocal both state they are open till 11pm, but at 1014, the signs start flashing last call and they will be closed in 3 minutes. At 1020, the ladies behind the bar shut everything down and turned away guests. Then after telling people they are closed and turning them away, another apparent regular walked in and was served. Also, the hip-hop music at a really loud volume and the attitude I received from the ladies at the bar when ordering(don’t expect to be greeted here, you have to go up and order and even then you may get ignored) made it highly unlikely I will return. Such a shame, I really did like the vibe and service prior to the«new and improved» atmosphere.

We still love coming here. The beer selection is top notch. I’m a beer snob. Great staff, great community feel, great beer.

This place beats them all hands down. Friendly staff, good beers and feels so down to earth chill which makes you want to come back. Always has a steady stream off people coming and going. Beers are a decent price too! TV’s, shuffle board and board games throughout the bar. This is a must stop!

We went in and sat by the window and no one looked up or acknowledged us for five minutes. So I walked up to the bar where they have this scoreboard of beer all lit up which is pretty cool, but again I was ignored. One guy, I think he worked there, was ranting about Belgium ales and how they were like Neil Diamond. Frankly, there was douche bag clique of wanna be prepsters at the bar that out ranked us as regulars… so I guess I don’t get service? My wife and I walked out ten minutes later. I don’t even think they noticed and they certainly didn’t care. NOPE!

This place is amazing! 25 taps of the most awesome variety of beers, hard cider, winer, and several non-alcoholic drinks; like kombucha on tap! Love the service. Great crowds and music.

Still my favorite Growler spot! I have a client looking to put in a restaurant/Bar and we have spent 6 months going to just about every Growler place around and Rusty has nailed it! Great beers and GREAT service… always!

It is a place to meet people and drink any type of ale you can think of. They rotate brews often and do a excellent job of explaining their unique characteristics. Don’t be afraid to ask for a sample though I usually find one in my hand before I have to ask. There are games on the tables, bring your own food and your dog(very dog friendly). It is definitely a place to judge for yourself. I recommend to give it a chance. Pop across the parking lot to grab some food and bring it back, or bring some from home. You may love it. I have yet to meet a unfriendly person there. We even enjoyed a few games on separate occasions with strangers and had a great time. It is a taste of Portland proper in Oregon City.

First time here. Guy slinging the brews was nice. And well… they have Crazy Horse from Silver Moon Brewing right now so yeah… ‘nuf said, they got good taste, this place is all good in my book. Also like the big ass TVs and squishy couches too. Good place to relax for sure.

I frequent taprooms/growler filling stations all over the NW. The Growler Run is a huge favorite of mine and it is right here in Oregon City. Rotating taps of beer and cider from all over the region. Rusty is very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. Great atmosphere and good people. Do not be detoured by the lack of serving food, there are plenty of food establishments in the same parking lot. I’m sure The Growler Run is more than happy to allow you to eat your food inside, and share a beer.

Already a firm favorite of mine after a few visits there. Rusty and Taylor are super friendly and knowledgeable about their beer that they offer and rotate many taps per week to ensure that there’s always something different to try. Say hello to their little pooch Arty as well when you get the chance. You can buy small or large Growlers there for $ 6 or $ 8 I think and you can bring in a Growler and have it filled with your favorite choice for $ 7 or $ 14. Rusty and the lovely Taylor will also let you grab a taster via 4 cute mason jars for $ 4, you just make your choices. Pints are $ 5. Always a good and varied selection of craft brews from around the pacific NW. Great people, fine beer and a shuffleboard table and TVs thrown in too. Give them a try :-)

I heard they had live music here so decided to check it out. Plus I love a micro brew so thought it couldn’t miss. The place was lively and just a tad loud(you know it’s loud when you have to strain to hear the two guys singing into the mics). They have 2 chalk boards full of current choices of beer, wine and cider… I believe about 30 in total. The pourer was quite knowledgeable but was the only person serving at least 40 people. I think the potential is there for more stars, but due to limited wait staff and the fact that they do not currently offer food was cause for just three stars.
