History

Established in 1979.

This bike shop has been here here for that last 30 years. It’s the shop «on the hill». The founding owner passed about 15 years ago & the 2^nd owner onwned the store for the next 15 years with a new owner taking over in Oct. ’12.

I’ve been a competitive cyclist for 25+ years. I have attained a category 2 status under USA cycling & 1 under ABR. I raced «semi» professional for 3 seasons, which consisted of over 80 races in each season. Roughly 10 of these races during these were part of the national pro circuit. I logged in over 10,000 miles in each of these seasons. I have raced track, cylo-​cross, time trials, criteriums, road races & mountain bike races.

Cycling accomplishments:

ABR Pro, 1, 2 Criterium champion & Cat III

2 Time Champion — Tour de Tower

World Champion Master’s 4 man TTT

4 Time Rider of the year — 3 in 30+ & 1 in Pro, 1 2

6 time medal winner in Rider of the Year in 3 different divisions (Pro, 1, 2, III & 30+)

30+ cycling victories to date

Running a racing team for 10 years & assisting for several more.

I have been a top mechanic for 20 years with over 600 wheel builds & 50+ «pro» frame build ups done to date. I have been teaching repair class for 15 years.
