Absolutely the best crawfish and shrimp in town! I love coming here on any occasion. There are lots of tvs and beer so whenever there is a big sports game on it is my go to spot with my friends. The sauce I recommend is their medium-shabang sauce!

My friend J. Introduced me to the place two weeks ago and I had to take my roommate to it Sat(6⁄18). It’s a hole in the wall place so if you go in expecting first class accomodations, then bounce. People come here for 2 reasons: 1) the food 2) the amazing service. Each trip I got half a dozen blue crabs with shrimp(#38) in the Xe Bang sauce. The roomie ordered the snow crab combo(#41) in the garlic butter. We each got a small gumbo(spicy is no joke here so CAUTION!!) & ordered the fried shrimp basket which had 8 fist size shrimp in it. Gluttons we were. Stuffed beyond measure. Happy when we left.

This restaurant is right in the heart of all the asian restaurants in Orlando. Its deceiving, you dont want to go in but you should. The staff is friendly and service is fast. We had blue crabs old bay style, they were good with a slight way down south NOLA crab boil taste. Actually, although obvious asian owned it has definite NOLA roots and recipes. The gumbo is delicious!!! We had super big pillow like beneigs for dessert. Its worth the stop… again and again.

I absolutely love this place. Since finding it on Unilocal I have been back numerous times and always make sure to bring friends. The combo platters are delicious! Snow crab and mussels in their special seasonings are divine. Definitely give them a try!

One of the best cajun seafood places I’ve been to. It’s a very casual small restaurant that u don’t expect it to be this good, but it is. Wish I live around here so I can come often.

Lord help me, if I ever get a high paying job, I’m going to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Like I’m going to park my car outside and live in it so I can eat all my meals here. It’s that good. Sure, the police and my husband might not like the plan, but that’s their problem, now isn’t it. Hubby and I came here on date night at my insistence that Chesapeake Bay crabs are not the same thing as the blue crabs you can get here in FL. I might have been able to explore that theory a bit better had I ordered the blue crabs in old bay seasoning… but the temptation of the full on seafood platter called to me like some sexy siren that I could NOT ignore. Bring on the garlic and crustations!!! I got the platter with the blue crabs, the shrimp, the crawfish, and the snow crab legs. I have no clue what my husband got. Seriously, I think he got a sandwich or something. LAME.((He said whatever he got was really good, but I could hardly hear him through my seafood haze.)) With my seafood bib firmly in place, I launched into my foil platter of goodness. The butter glistened and the garlic was piled in chunks on everything, the aroma from the platter was heavenly. Somewhere along the way, I noticed a cob of corn and this cute red potato. My husband tried to steal the potato and almost lost his hand, but since I was in garlic euphoria, I decided to share with him… so we each had half and both agreed that potato was cooked to perfection. The corn on the cob was amazing, I kept hearing the table next to us ordering more and more corn, but I did not understand fully why until I tasted the corn. It was soft and tender and had this wonderful buttery goodness to it. That corn. Oh my, that corn!!! This eatery is a life changing experience, as in my life has been devoid of the garlic and buttery sensations that I experienced while there. I find myself dreaming of returning and basking in that wonderland of seafood and corn. Excellent job, 5 stars and I look forward to returning.

This was the last place I ate on my trip to Orlando, but number one in my heart. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a seafood junkie. Well technically a food junkie… but seafood is one of my favorites. So when a co-worker suggested checking out this place for some crawfish, I didn’t know what I was in for. I walk in and the people I was meeting were already elbows deep in boiled seafood goodness. I have to play catch-up — game on! I was fully expecting the crawfish as it was mentioned before. But there are enormous king crab legs, shrimp, boiled crawfish, and potatoes/corn to boot. In other words, crustacean heaven. This section of town was very Vietnamese and I was informed that some of this community were pushed down to Orlando after Katrina. But brought their Vietnamese/cajun recipes with them… hence this seafood mecca. Everything was cooked to perfection and spiced just right. My theory on boiled seafood is that it needs flavor, but don’t have to overwhelm with the heat. The fit my mantra to a T. This is a must stop next time I am in Orlando.

I GETTOWEAR A BIB!!! SOLD! I was so glad some fellow Unilocalers recommended this place! It’s a small restaurant with a long row of benches and tables down each wall and a to-go counter at the end. I love that the walls are covered floor to ceiling with drawings and graffiti, even from talented local artist Boy Kong. They have a wide selection of seafood by the pound, combo platters and po’boys that were hard to choose between! My gf and I opted for the platter of snowcrab legs and shrimp which also came with potatoes and corn. I believe we went with the butter garlic seasoning with some cajun spice and it was definitely swimming in it! Presentation is really low key and homey with our platter coming out in a big disposable metal tin and our«trash bowls» were mismatched plastic mixing bowls which adds to the fun and messy atmosphere of this style food. We definitely felt comfortable to go to town on that mountain of seafood and make a mess of ourselves! I wasn’t a huge fan of the shrimp, thought they could have been cooked better but OMG i couldn’t get enough of the crab and the corn was dang good. They also have some basic Asian beers and domestics in bottles to wash everything down with! Our service was great the whole time, answering lots of questions, keeping plates of food pouring out and splittung our complicated checks at the end too.

If I were to draw a parallel to another culture, Vietnamese people are like the Italians for Asians. We like to shout. We’re all obsessed with food. And the only thing we fear more than God are our moms.(Shutters.) So when I visited at LA Boiling Seafood Crab & Crawfish, being a Viet person, everything felt so right. I was yelling ridiculous Vietnamese phrases, as my co-workers looked like I was a crazy man. We indulged in pounds-on-pounds-on-pounds of crustaceans that sacrificed their lives for the lunch. And, the best part, my hands burned for several hours from the intense spices. I even heard my mom’s voice, in the back of my head, kept telling me, «you better wash those hands or you’ll burn those eyes of yours when you rub them.» Awesome time! ***** I. FOOD&DRINK It’s not your typical American boil. The style they use incorporates lots of butter, garlic, Cajun spice, and other seasoning. If you want to play it safe, you can probably order one of their sandwiches, but this is a place to stuff deliciously steamed sea animals in your mouth and drink lots of beer. –For our feast, we ordered several pounds of crabs, crawfish, and shrimps. *Crabs: They have different types of crab — blue, dungeoness, and snow — and I recommend the snow. They’re easier to break and have lots of meat. I didn’t try one, though, because I’m more in to… *Crawfish: Lots of flavor, several sticks-worth of butter in the sauce, and plenty of Cajun seasoning that made the cut that I had on my right had sting like a mutha*****. But I don’t care ’cause I’m gangsta. Fo’real, though, it was the bomb. Oh, and the crawfish itself was fresh, because the shells were soft. *Shrimps: Plump, juicy, sexy — I could eat these all day. Just remember to peel off the skin, if you’re a first-timer. **Other Notes: Pieces of potatoes and corns were soaked in those immaculate juices. And instead of being served in plastic bags, like what many boils have done them in, they serve everything in large metal trays. Regarding their drinks, they have Sapporo, Kirin, and other beers that Asian people like myself love to drink. II. SERVICE Did I mention that I yelled and our server and she didn’t even blink an eye? I love her, and I don’t even know her name. But seriously, the food came out in a reasonable time. III. AMBIENCE/DÉCOR They have large marble-like tables that are great for small groups. There’s one TV, which is dedicated to playing the local news. People can also write all over their walls with Sharpies. IV. PRICES For boils, check out their market prices. The crabs have the greatest variation, because there are several different kinds, but I find everything to be fairly reasonable. Their sandwiches and soups are all under $ 11. V. OVERALL With the yelling, little kids running around, and the fact that it’s in a Vietnamese hood where Viets actually eat, I love it. I would probably eat here every weekend, if possible. And my hands would probably forever turn color to a crawfish red.

Wow, I’ve been missing out on some tasty creations! We finally made it to this restaurant and it was finger licking good! I haven’t had crab and shrimp like this in a long time. We were seated immediately upon entering and the service was very good. We ordered some beers and when the food arrived, the aroma was intense and I couldn’t wait to dig in. I ordered it with a mild spice but next time I will definitely kick it up a notch. The garlic butter sauce may not be the healthiest but it’s damn good!!!

Seafood heaven! I went for lunch recently and was very impressed! I split the oyster po boy and the flounder platter that comes with fries with my husband. All of the food was cooked perfectly and nothing was greasy at all! Yay! My friends that joined us split a seafood combo that came with shrimp, potato, crab legs and corn on the cob. The aroma of butter and garlic from their meal was heavenly! Service was great too! If you love seafood, check this place out!

My good friend, Melinda M., told me that if I was ever in the Mills 50 section of Orlando, that I should seek out the incredibly delicious seafood at LA Boiling Seafood Crab & Crawfish. As I drove down Colonial Drive from I-4, I was beginning to think that Melinda was sending me on a wild goose chase, but sure enough I found a fabulous Asian neighborhood right at the intersection of Colonial(Rte. 50) and Mills Avenue. Parking was a bear out along the busy roadway, but thankfully if you circle the block you’re able to park behind the restaurant. This place honestly looks like a little hole-in-the-wall, but don’t let that dissuade you from going inside and having some very tasty Cajun food(prepared with a Vietnamese twist). The décor is very simple, but I love the fact that they encourage you to doodle on the walls while you wait for your meal. Next time I’m bringing felt-tip markers, and doing my version of the Sistine Chapel ceiling! The menu is almost all seafood. The most popular items are the combo platters of crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs served with garlic butter, red potatoes, and a mini ear of corn. Good Lord that looked delicious! Since I was busting at the seams from a week of eating wayyyy too much food while attending a conference, I thought I’d go a bit lighter(HA!) and have a bowl of soup and a Po’Boy sandwich. Little did I know that I’d be taking half the sandwich back to Tampa as I oinked all the way down the road! The«small» soup was a Vietnamese-style Blue crab bun rieu noodle soup made in a seafood broth with ground-up blue crab meatballs. This was a huge bowl of soup, but incredibly tasty. I can only assume that the larger bowl of soup is built like a Jacuzzi to be shared by you and several close friends. After slurping my way through the soup, the proprietress delivered my soft-shell crab Po’Boy sandwich with a wink. She was obviously impressed that I was planning to eat even more. I should have stopped and taken the entire sandwich back to Tampa for my dinner, but it smelled sooooo good that I figured I’d be polite, and eat just a little bit. SNARF! The Po’Boy was served on a half-loaf of French bread, and fully dressed with Asian slaw(kinda like a Banh Mi) that had sliced pickled veggies. Seriously yummy! I am planning a return trip to LA Boiling, but this next time I think I’ll go on a starvation diet for a week ahead of time, and then order the combo platter of seafood with garlic butter sauce. Very good food, and worth seeking out this little place!

4 Stars for out of control good crabs, crawfish, corn, and potatoes! I finally got a chance to dine here for lunch and I was blown away by the flavors. Ok, to be fair it is hard to mess up a garlic butter sauce, but something about theirs was extra sweet and truly addictive! The pounds of crustaceans were ideal for sharing with a group. We were brought large bowls to throw out the skins, legs, and icky bits and we were all looking sexy in our plastic bibs. Said bibs were lifesavers since butter and garlic was literally flying as we cracked open shells and chowed down on what may be my favorite corn on the cob of all time. And, if you’re like me and a bit of a weenie when it comes to spice, fret not! They have a mild option and it satisfied even my heat-addicted friends. Pro-tip: Be sure to bring a sharpie to leave your mark on the wall alongside your local brethren and more than one local street artist.

Love love love! I don’t know why I haven’t created a review for them yet, but they are to die for if you love your crawfish and crabs! I can never have enough of the garlicky goodness. Definitely love the crawfish, blue crabs and the Dungeness. The service is alright and it’s a tight space, but once you start digging in nothing matters anymore.

Don’t let the look of the place fool you, they do a awesome mudbug boil. The oyster po boy and Cajun muddbug boil put me right back in New Orleans. Unreal how perfect they were. Next time I’m in town I’m coming back. We also got the Dozen XL crabs with old bay. They were great but I would have loved more oldbay seasoning. In fact, they should just put some on the table for people to dip. The phở soup was good too but really the highlight were the Cajun crawfish boil and po boy sandwhich.

Every time we’ve driven around Viet Town in Orlando, ever since this place first opened up, I had been wanting to check it out. I never did because my favorite Vietnamese restaurant is across the street and I can’t ever pass that up. Until yesterday. We were a party of four and decided to finally try it out. The high ratings and good reviews certainly amped up our expectations. Sadly we were disappointed with the food. We ordered 4 lbs of live crawfish(@$ 9.99/lb) with mild, Cajun butter garlic seasoning and I also ordered their bun rieu, which is a rice vermicelli noodle soup with crab/pork ball. The crawfish was cooked well, but the seasoning left a lot to be desired. It seemed like it was just melted butter that they poured over the crawfish, and chopped up some garlic and sprinkled it on top along with some seasoning powder. The chunks of garlic, along with how the mudbugs were cooked, were the only saving grace for the dish. The cocktail sauce(which was a store bought bottle) didn’t really help it either. As for my noodle soup… it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. My friend didn’t like it too much and said the broth just tasted like water.(I thought it had a little flavor to it though.) Although the servers were attentive and friendly enough, the food just didn’t quite cut it for us. We won’t be coming back again unless they make some major changes to their seafood seasoning and lower their prices a bit. :(
