Philly Boy Steaks & Subs

It is a little store in Mobile gas station’s convenient store. We ordered the TRIPLETA. Tasty was really good and enough for two people share. I recommend you have to try it!

We stayed at the Hilton in Disney World in early December. Were looking for food off resort. Found this place. it was DELICIOUS. And the husband and wife team that run it are so earnest and hard working, you just want to hand them over more of your money. They food was great. Couldnt have been happier with the food.

Well i have to say that I am totally disappointed.
All the hype did not live up to its name. Apparently, they have changed owners. (Two days ago) if this change is indicative of whats to come… watch out. Went last night, they were closed. So we came back this afternoon for lunch, after ordering and PAYING, the gentleman behind the counter informs me that they have no philly cheese steaks available. Well, didn’t you just take my order? And my money? So he offered me a burger or pizza? But i didn’t come here for burger or pizza. Wont be back again. To bad, really wanted a cheese steak sub.

Very tasty Philly cheesesteaks, and a great value for the 12″! We were glad we stopped here instead of a random chain. We were in and out quickly and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

First time at Disney for a family vacation and didn’t realize just how expensive food was until I spent over $ 100 on lunch at a Disney Restaurant! Decided to turn to Unilocal for some local flavor and that’s where I found Philly Boy!
Thomas, the owner, is an amazing person with a huge passion for food and his customers. If you don’t get that from talking to him then you definitely will in tasting his food!
I’m here for the second time in a row ordering the exact same thing! Philly steak and cheese! It’s worth it!

Thomas the friendly owner of Philly Boy Steaks & Subs claimed he has a passion for his product and boy could I taste that. This place serves a great Philly Cheesesteak sandwich.
I’ve actually been to the famous Philly institutions — Gino’s, Jim’s, and Pat’s — where I experienced first hand the greatness of this famous sandwich. The Cheesesteak is a food item where many claims of greatness are made, but in reality few deliver. Philly Boy however is one of the exceptions. In fact, I can say it’s the real deal.
The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I dined on was a delicious, tasty treat and a near perfect replica of the goodness that is typically not found outside Philadelphia. The only real difference was that this is Orlando.
So if you live in Orlando or are a tourist then I want to encourage you to try Philly Boy. In fact, stop reading my ramblings and rush there right now to experience it for yourself. I expect you’ll thank me later for that.
Oh, and if the idea of dining in a gas station famous for gouging at the pump turns you off then it’s time for you to get over yourself. Seriously, you’re missing out!

Not often you have an exact experience as another reviewer, but we did. After a week eating Disney park food, pizza and Chinese was looking for something different… turned to Unilocal and found Philly Boy. Yah, it’s also a gas station so be prepared (and you probably don’t want to let your lady use the bathroom here), but the cheesesteak was outstanding and actually made me think about also trying the Cuban. That will have to wait til next trip as we head out of town in the AM.
Try it… you won’t be disappointed.

Philly steak empanadas a great spin off the traditional beef ones. Finally a place that fries the empanadas (hard shell instead of corn)! Loved it. Owner is from Philly and really nice. Our Order was made fresh since he sold out on empanadas but was frying two when I walked in. Owner himself takes time and passion in preparing orders. Tipped him well since it’s his own business and he was working solo. Will definitely go back to try other menu items, esp the philly steak and Jibarito.

This place is awesome! Delicious, authentic philly cheese steaks! Got mine with lots of onions and extra cheese, couldn’t get any better! Hubby and friend had the Triplette (sp?) amazing! It was so flavorful and the portions were great! It is inside the Mobil station but this is no ordinary gas station foo, definitely try this out if you’re in the area! The guy working the counter, which I think was the owner was super friendly!

WOW! This place is just awesome. When you first pull in and find yourself in a gas station, you start to question what you’ve gotten yourself into. But it was late and after a day in Disney, I needed something good and quick.
The owner is indeed straight from Philadelphia, and brings his craft straight from his heart. I had a tripleta sub and my wife had a regular cheesesteak. Wow! Both sandwiches were full of flavor and he’s very generous with the ingredients.
Do yourself a favor and go here and try the sandwiches. You can’t beat the prices and quality. I’m from Miami and I’ve never had a sandwich like this.

Does not delivery. Please don’t put that you deliver unless you actually deliver. Makes it very difficult to order for from you.

I stopped here after a late night out to get a slice of pizza. Lucky for me the pizza slices was gone for the night and I ended up ordering the cheesesteak. I ordered 3 plain w cheese because I wanted to share w my friends. Service was quick and friendly. Owned by a guy from Philly! I and everyone else that tried them, enjoyed them. He cooks real meat, no steakums. And the bread is really good. Take out is probably best but there are a few tables to sit at if you didn’t want to take it out.

I’ve been living in Orlando for a few months now and there is not a single place I’d rather eat. Philly Boy has me hooked and I can’t stop coming back. It’s the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had, and everyone I’ve taken with me has said the same thing. On top of the cheesesteaks, there are other great sandwiches, empanadas, and burgers. To top it all off, the owner makes your experience there one you will not forget. I plan on spending a lot more time here

Great place to get anything your craving, Philly cheese, Cuban sandwiches, burgers, wings fries, and ice cream, owner is really nice. This place is actually inside the Mobil gas station, check it out it’s worth a try

Yooooo, always heard about the Puertorican «Tripletas» but never tried them before. I regret not trying them earlier. Jesus Christ on a stick, this place is the BOMB if youre looking to eat a REAL steak sandwich you’ve gotta come to here. Owner is a real cool guy, working hard to get you good customer service. Deffinitely will be back!

THE TRIPLETA IS AMAZING!!! Ladies and gentleman, if you’re in the area, you have to stop and try one. It has chicken, pork, beef, cheese, sauteed onions and more. I came in after leaving one of the parks and had the best meal I’ve had in a long time. If you’re a local I highly recommend to support this small business owner and have one of his huge subs! Visitors, it’s one of the best eats in town and it won’t break the bank!

Extremely tasty cheesesteak. Really close to the Lake Buena Vista hotels, kind of tucked away. Great service. Fast and friendly.

Excellent place for great food! Open lunch through the late night to take care of the working folk and tourists alike. I’m a huge supporter for local businesses and Philly Boy puts his life into this place. Definitely stopping whenever I find myself through town.

These 5 stars are no joke! If you want a good sandwich then this is the place to come to. Would go again in the future, in fact I’m going in 10 minutes.

Happened to just place an order to the closest joint and when I went in and found out the owner was actually from philly, I was excited to taste a piece of home. My husband and I got a cheesesteak which was amazing. Being that we are from philly and know our cheesesteaks, we urge all you locals to get a taste of a good thing and all you tourist that never had a chance of having a good cheesesteak, here’s your chance! Enjoy!
