People on the farm are friendly and helpful. The setting is so pastoral. Loved those chickens in their cute little coups, BTW.
We were so lucky on our way back home to SoCal we were able to buy enough great apricots to enjoy raw and make some jam. They taste even sweeter when you know they are organic.
We are looking forward to coming back whenever we are visiting again.

I’ve been looking for a source of fresh olives to home cure and came across the Chaffin website. I signed up for notifications on when their olives would be ready to ship, got the email and placed the order on a Monday morning. The olives shipped the same day and got here on Wednesday. Really nice looking olives, nice and plump with very little damage or bruising. I’ve already prepped them for the water soak.
The price is fair, the shipping fast and the olives are fresher and nicer than any you’d find in an urban market, even an urban farmer’s market.

while on the sierra oro farm trail this october, this was one of my favorite stops. the setting was really pretty, and i loved learning about the farm. everyone was super friendly, and the olive oil and fruits were delicious! i will have to return throughout the seasons to try their other goods!
