History

Established in 1991.

My father-​in-​law and I originally started rehabbing old garages under the name «The Garage Doctor» in LaGrange, IL in the mid 80’s. We progressed into installing garage doors, and eventually that became our main focus. Quite frankly, we learned the hard way. As he used to say, «we went to school on that one», meaning we learned a lot from our mistakes. By 1991, he retired and I started Spero Door Service, using my own name of course. Over the years I have worked with and learned from many seasoned veterans in the garage door industry, and in doing so, have become an expert in both residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. We’re a family owned business, and providing great customer service is of the utmost importance.

In the mid 80’s, my father-​in-​law and I started The Garage Doctor in LaGrange, Il. We originally were rehabbing old garages in the area, many of which were 80 – 90 years old. Naturally, we started installing garage doors as part of our renovations. By 1991, I had branched out on my own, and started Spero Door Service.

I have over the years, had the good fortune to work with and learn from some of the best in the industry. I maintain the highest standards for customer service and quality workmanship.

As a small business owner, I realize the importance of treating every customer as if they’re my only customer. Most of my business comes from personal referrals, not high priced advertising. When people rave about you to their friends, family, neighbors, and co-​workers– you must be doing something right!
